Description
図1は、本実施の形態に係わる角形二次電池の外観斜視図、図2は、図1に示される角形二次電池の分解斜視図である。
角形二次電池であるリチウムイオン二次電池1は、電池缶4内に発電要素を収容した構成を有している。電池缶4は、長方形の底面を有する角形の深絞り形状を有しており、上方に向かって開放された開口部を、電池蓋3で封口することにより、密閉された電池容器2を構成する。
捲回電極体10は、セパレータ13、負極板12、セパレータ15、正極板14、の順に重ねて巻き芯21に捲回することによって構成される。捲回電極体10は、図3に示すように、扁平形状を有しており、最外周の電極板が負極板12となり、さらにその外側にセパレータ13が捲回される。
拡開操作板31、41と巻き芯21との間には、負極拡開操作板31、正極拡開操作板41が巻き芯21の挿入穴23に挿入して保持された状態で、巻き芯21に対する拡開操作板31、41の移動を規制して、挿入穴23からの脱落や位置ずれを防止する固定手段が設けられている。
正極拡開操作板41も、負極拡開操作板31と同様に、巻き芯21に固定される。
図9は、第2実施の形態について説明する図であり、第1実施の形態における図4に対応する図である。
本実施の形態において特徴的なことは、拡開操作板31、41を巻き芯21に固定する溶着部25を、拡開操作板31、41に対してそれぞれ複数設けたことである。
図10は、第3実施の形態について説明する図であり、第1実施の形態における図4に対応する図、図11は、図10のB−B線断面図である。
図12は、第4実施の形態における拡開操作板の巻き芯への固定方法を説明する斜視図、図13は、巻き芯と拡開操作板との固定状態を説明する断面図である。
図14は、第5実施の形態における拡開操作板の巻き芯への固定方法を説明する斜視図、図15は、巻き芯と拡開操作板との固定状態を説明する断面図である。

Claims (4)
- 扁平状の捲回電極体を有する角形二次電池であって、
前記捲回電極体は、電極が捲回される平板状の巻き芯と、該巻き芯に凹設された挿入穴に挿入されて前記捲回電極体の捲回軸方向端部を拡開する拡開部材と、を有し、
前記拡開部材は、前記巻き芯の挿入穴に挿入される挿入部分に貫通孔が穿設されており、
前記巻き芯は、該巻き芯の一部が溶融して前記貫通孔内に突出した溶着部を有することを特徴とする角形二次電池。 - 前記拡開部材は、前記巻き芯の挿入穴に挿入した状態で前記貫通孔の一部が前記巻き芯の端部から露出しており、
前記巻き芯は、前記貫通孔を介して互いに対向する前記巻き芯の端部が溶着されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の角形二次電池。 - 前記溶着部は、複数設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の角形二次電池。
- 前記複数の溶着部は、前記挿入穴の挿入方向に直交する捲回方向に所定間隔をおいて設けられていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の角形二次電池。
