Description
Claims (15)
- 少なくとも1つの層を有する多孔性基材;
当該基材上にて実質的に不揮発性の組成物の無作為に配置された固体の粒子の配列であって、少なくとも1つの反応性熱可塑性または熱硬化性樹脂を含み、
前記配列の実質的に固体の反応性熱可塑性または熱硬化性の粒子の配列が190℃から220℃の間の温度で5cps及び5,000cpsの間の溶融粘度を有しており、
実質的に固体の不揮発性の組成物中の唯一の揮発性の成分は、残留水または残留溶媒であり、
無作為に配置された固体の各粒子の一部が部分的に溶融することによって多孔性基材の第一の表面の隙間に含浸されて熱的に固定されており、
隣接して無作為に配置された粒子の間の空間が固体の各粒子を分離しており、
反応性(重合可能な)熱可塑性または熱硬化性の粒子は、2から5mmの間の範囲の直径を有し得るものである;
を含む、長期保存が可能でドレープ性のあるポリマーが予備含浸された強化材料。 - 前記多孔性基材として含まれる繊維強化シートの繊維は、炭素繊維、ガラス繊維、バサルト繊維、ポリマー繊維、アラミド繊維、鋼繊維、天然繊維及びそれらの組み合わせからなる群から選ばれる請求項1に記載の長期保存が可能でドレープ性のあるポリマーが予備含浸された強化材料。
- 前記少なくとも1つの層をもつ多孔性基材の繊維は、ロービング、テープ、ウェブ、ウィーブ、二軸または多軸織物、編物、組みひも、ランダムマット、フリース及びそれらの組み合わせからなる群から選ばれるものである前記請求項1または2に記載の長期保存が可能でドレープ性のあるポリマーが予備含浸された強化材料。
- 前記組成物は、エポキシ樹脂、不飽和ポリエステル樹脂、ビニルエステル樹脂、熱硬化性ポリウレタン樹脂、フェノールホルムアルデヒド樹脂(フェノール樹脂)、ポリイミド樹脂、シリコーン樹脂、架橋熱可塑性樹脂、架橋熱硬化性樹脂及びそれらの組み合わせからなる群から選ばれる前記請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の長期保存が可能でドレープ性のあるポリマーが予備含浸された強化材料。
- 前記架橋熱可塑性樹脂は、架橋ポリエチレン樹脂、架橋ポリプロピレン樹脂、架橋ポリ塩化ビニル樹脂、架橋ポリマーおよびそれらの組み合わせからなる群から選ばれる請求項4に記載の長期保存が可能でドレープ性のあるポリマーが予備含浸された強化材料。
- 前記組成物が、エポキシ系、不飽和ポリエステル系であり、前記エポキシ系または不飽和ポリエステル系の熱硬化性樹脂は室温で固体である請求項4に記載の長期保存が可能でドレープ性のあるポリマーが予備含浸された強化材料。
- 前記請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の長期保存が可能でドレープ性のあるポリマーが予備含浸された強化材料から自由形状の強化材料を製造する方法であって、
鋳型の第一の表面と、その上に置かれた真空バッグと、その中に入れられたドレープ性のあるポリマーが予備含浸された自由形状の強化材料とを用意することを含む方法。 - 前記真空バッグは、複数の真空バッグシートからなる請求項7に記載の方法。
- 長期保存が可能でドレープ性のあるポリマーが予備含浸された前記請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の強化材料を形成するための方法であって、
少なくとも1つの層を有する多孔性基材を提供すること;
実質的に一様に配置され、実質的に完全に固体の反応性熱可塑性または熱硬化性の粒子を含む実質的に不揮発性の組成物の配列を形成することであって、該少なくとも1つの層の一部を被覆し、
該組成物の唯一の揮発性の成分が残留水または溶媒である;
実質的に完全に固体の反応性熱可塑性または熱硬化性の粒子の配列を部分的に溶融すること;

- 前記多孔性基材の少なくとも1つの層の一部における隙間内の反応性熱可塑性または熱硬化性の粒子を硬化させ、熱可塑性または熱硬化性複合シートを形成する請求項9または10に記載の方法。
- 前記配列の実質的に固体の反応性熱可塑性または熱硬化性の粒子をプレカタライズし、前記反応性熱可塑性または熱硬化性樹脂の粒子は室温で固体である請求項9または10に記載の方法。
- 前記配列の実質的に固体の反応性熱可塑性または熱硬化性の粒子を、形成された前記プリプレグまたは前記プリプレグから形成される複合シートに空隙が生じることを避けるために、水分または溶媒を除去するために乾燥する請求項9または10に記載の方法。
- 実質的に一様に配置され、実質的に完全に固体の反応性熱可塑性または熱硬化性の粒子の配列を、粒子沈着装置により少なくとも1つの熱硬化できる熱可塑性または熱硬化性樹脂の実質的に完全に固体の粒子を沈着することによって形成する請求項9または10に記載の方法。
- 前記粒子沈着装置が、粉末散布装置であり、該散布装置の沈着領域が少なくとも4.0m幅である請求項14に記載の方法。
