Description
図1〜図4に示すシンクロサイクロトロン1は、陽子ビーム(荷電粒子ビーム)を生成するものであり、図示しないイオン源から供給されるイオン(水素の陽イオン)を真空容器2(図3、図4参照)の内部で加速させて、陽子ビームを生成する。
Claims (4)
- 真空容器の内部で荷電粒子を加速するシンクロサイクロトロンであって、
前記真空容器を通過する磁場を形成するコイルと、
前記真空容器の内部の前記荷電粒子を加速させる加速電極と、
前記加速電極に供給される高周波電力の共振周波数を変調する共振回路と、
前記共振回路に電気的に接続され、互いに対向する一対の電極の向かい合う面積を変えることで静電容量を可変させる回転コンデンサーと、を備え、
前記回転コンデンサーは、軸線周りに回転する回転軸を備え、
前記一対の電極は、
前記回転軸から径方向の外側へ張り出す第1の電極板と、
前記回転軸の軸線方向に離間し前記第1の電極板と対向して配置された第2の電極板とを有し、
前記第1の電極板の縁部には、板厚方向に切欠きが形成されている、
シンクロサイクロトロン。 - 前記切欠きは、前記第1の電極板の前記縁部である側辺の延在方向に複数形成されている、
請求項1に記載のシンクロサイクロトロン。 - 真空容器の内部で荷電粒子を加速するシンクロサイクロトロンであって、
前記真空容器を通過する磁場を形成するコイルと、
前記真空容器の内部の前記荷電粒子を加速させる加速電極と、
前記加速電極に供給される高周波電力の共振周波数を変調する共振回路と、
前記共振回路に電気的に接続され、互いに対向する一対の電極の向かい合う面積を変えることで静電容量を可変させる回転コンデンサーと、を備え、
前記回転コンデンサーは、軸線周りに回転する回転軸を備え、
前記一対の電極は、
前記回転軸から径方向の外側へ張り出す第1の電極板と、
前記回転軸の軸線方向に離間し前記第1の電極板と対向して配置された第2の電極板とを有し、
前記第1の電極板は、絶縁体からなる電極板本体と、前記電極板本体の前記第2の電極板側の表面を被覆する導電体からなる表面層と、を有する、
シンクロサイクロトロン。 - 真空容器の内部で荷電粒子を加速するシンクロサイクロトロンであって、
前記真空容器を通過する磁場を形成するコイルと、
前記真空容器の内部の前記荷電粒子を加速させる加速電極と、
前記加速電極に供給される高周波電力の共振周波数を変調する共振回路と、
前記共振回路に電気的に接続され、互いに対向する一対の電極の向かい合う面積を変えることで静電容量を可変させる回転コンデンサーと、を備え、
前記回転コンデンサーは、軸線周りに回転する回転軸を備え、
前記一対の電極は、
前記回転軸から径方向の外側へ張り出す第1の電極板と、
前記回転軸の軸線方向に離間し前記第1の電極板と対向して配置された第2の電極板とを有し、
前記第1の電極板の縁部には、中央部よりも厚さが薄い薄肉部が形成されている、
