Claims (10)
- 導電性を有する第1の基板と、前記第1の基板上に形成された有機層と、前記有機層上に形成された電極層と、接着層を介して前記電極層と接合される第2の基板と、を備え、
前記第1の基板の周縁部のいずれかには、前記有機層が形成されておらず、且つ絶縁層を介して前記電極層の一部が該有機層のある領域より外周側へ延設され、
前記延設された電極層が、前記第1の基板及び前記絶縁層と共に前記第2の基板とは反対側に折り返されて、電極取出し部を構成していることを特徴とする有機ELデバイス。 - 前記電極取出し部の電極層は、その端部が前記第1の基板と短絡しないように、前記絶縁層よりも内側になるように形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の有機ELデバイス。
- 前記第2の基板のうち、前記電極層と向かい合う面には、前記有機層が形成される領域と重なり合わないように、且つ前記電極層と接触しないように、吸湿層が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の有機ELデバイス。
- 前記電極取出し部は、前記電極層の一部を除いて封止材によって封止されていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれか一項に記載の有機ELデバイス。
- 前記封止材の一部は、前記接着層が延設されたものであることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の有機ELデバイス。
- 前記封止材は、前記接着層とは別部材であることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の有機ELデバイス。
- 前記電極層は、前記有機層と当接する主電極部と、前記主電極部と接すると共に、前記有機層とは絶縁された補助電極部と、から構成されることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項6のいずれか一項に記載の有機ELデバイス。
- 前記電極取出し部の電極層は、前記補助電極部の一部であることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の有機ELデバイス。
- 前記主電極部は、低抵抗性を有する細線材を格子状、ライン状又はハニカム状に配置したグリッド電極から構成されていることを特徴とする請求項7又は請求項8に記載の有機ELデバイス。
- 前記第1の基板は、バリア性を有する金属材料から構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項9のいずれか一項に記載の有機ELデバイス。
