Description
(I)
(i)エポキシ樹脂、
(ii)約200から約500のHEWを有するポリヒドロキシル官能性フェノール系硬化剤、および
(iii)板状充填剤
を含むエポキシ熱硬化性プライマーを含み、上記のエポキシ熱硬化性プライマーは、20wt%未満の亜鉛を含有する。
(i)約520から約1300のEEWを有するエポキシ樹脂、
(ii)約1000から約1600のEEWを有するエラストマー変性エポキシ樹脂、
(iii)起泡剤、および
(iV)強化用繊維
を含むエポキシ熱硬化性トップコートをさらに含む。
1.方法1−鋼鉄を、より理想的な堆積のために約220から約380°Fに加熱した後に、プライマーおよびトップコートを逐次的に塗布する。次いで、コーティング済の鋼鉄を再度加熱して、複合コーティング層を作り出し、コーティング系による完全な特性の発現を達成する。
2.方法2−プライマーを、周囲温度の高張力の鋼鉄合金に塗布した後に、約220から約380°Fに加熱して、コーティングを融解する、または部分的に硬化する。トップコートを、プライマーの加熱から残った余熱を理想的に用い、熱い鋼鉄に塗布する。次いで、コーティング済の鋼鉄を再度加熱して、複合層を作り出し、コーティング系による完全な特性の発現を達成する。
3.方法3−プライマーおよびトップコートを、「ドライオンドライ」の粉末の様式で周囲温度の高張力の鋼鉄に逐次的に塗布した後に、約220から約380°Fの単一のサイクル加熱をして、複合コーティング層を作り出し、コーティング系による完全な特性の発現を達成する。
1BビスフェノールAエポキシ樹脂Hは、ノボラック変性であり、750〜850のEEWを有し、Dow Chemical Companyから市販されている。
2A46〜51mgKOH/gの酸価、および約50℃のTgを有し、Cytec Industries Inc.から市販されているカルボキシル官能性ポリエステル樹脂。
2B68〜74mgKOH/gの酸価、および約58℃のTgを有し、Cytec Industries Inc.から市販されているカルボキシル官能性ポリエステル樹脂。
3240〜270のHEWを有し、2%の2−メチルイミダゾールの硬化促進剤を含有し、Dow Chemical Companyから市販されているフェノール系硬化剤。
4Casamid 710は、Thomas Swan & Co., Ltd.から市販されている、置換ジシアンジアミンの硬化剤である。
5Epikure P−108は、Hexion Speciality Chemicalsから市販されている、促進的なジシアンジアミンである。
6ベンゾインは、Aceto Corporationから市販されている脱気剤である。
7Black Pearls 800は、Cabot Corporationから市販されているカーボンブラックの顔料である。
8Tiona 595は、Millennium Chemicalsから市販されている二酸化チタンの顔料である。
920μmの平均メジアン粒径を有し、Fibertec,Inc.から市販されている白雲母のマイカの充填剤。
103.5μmのメジアン粒径、および3のアスペクト比を有し、NYCO Mineralsから市販されているメタケイ酸カルシウム(ウォラストナイト)の充填剤。
11K−White TC720は、Tayca Corporationから市販されている、ケイ酸マグネシウム(タルク)の抗腐食顔料である。
12AZO77Hは、米国のZincから市販されている酸化亜鉛顔料である。
13Zinc dust 64は、アメリカのZinc Corporationにより製造され、Cary Companyを通して流通されている亜鉛粉である。
141.3〜2.3μmの公称の厚さを、65%が50〜300μmの間の長さであり、Glass Flake,Ltd.から市販されている、変性C組成のガラスフレーク。
1513μmのメジアン粒径、および45μmの最大粒径を有し、Rio Tinto Mineralsから市販されているケイ酸マグネシウム(タルク)の充填剤。
16Irganox 1076は、BASFから市販されているフェノール系抗酸化剤である。
21250〜1500のEEWを有し、CVC Specialty Chemicals,Inc.から市販されているCTBN変性エポキシ樹脂。
346〜51mgKOH/gの酸価、および約50℃のTgを有し、Cytec Industries Inc.から市販されているカルボキシル官能性ポリエステル樹脂。
468〜74mgKOH/gの酸価、および約58℃のTgを有し、Cytec Industries Inc.から市販されているカルボキシル官能性ポリエステル樹脂。
5Bentone 38は、Elementis Specialtiesから市販されている有機粘土のレオロジー調節剤である。
6Lanco TF1778は、Lubrizol Advanced Materials,Inc.から市販されているポリエチレン/PTFE系ワックスである。
7p,p’−オキシビス(ベンゼンスルホニルヒドラジド)の起泡剤は、気体の収量が125cc/gであり、320°Fの分解点を有し、Chemtura Corporationを通して市販されている。
8アゾジカルボンアミドの起泡剤は、気体の収量が180cc/gであり、329〜356°Fの分解点を有し、Chemtura Corporationを通して市販されている。
9メタケイ酸カルシウム(ウォラストナイト)の繊維は、アスペクト比9で、3μmの平均粒径を有し、Fibertec,Inc.を通して市販されている。
10アルミノケイ酸塩の繊維は、シラン処理されており、125±25μmの平均長さを有し、Lapinus Fibersから市販されている。
11アトマイトは、Imerys Performance Mineralsから市販されている、炭酸カルシウムの充填剤である。
12ビスフェノールAエポキシ樹脂HおよびIは、それぞれ、730〜840および1150〜1300のEEWを有し、Kukdo Chemical Companyから市販されている。
131100〜1300のEEWを有し、Kukdo Chemical Companyから市販されているCTBN変性エポキシ樹脂。
14230〜260のHEWを有し、Kukdo Chemical Companyから市販されているフェノール系硬化剤。
15Casamid 710は、Thomas Swan & Co., Ltd.から市販されている、置換ジシアンジアミドの硬化剤である。

*SAE J400に基づいて、金属へのコーティングにチッピングが生じない、高張力のサスペンションスプリングのためのFordの仕様、WSS−M2P177−B1に対する試験。チッピングの評価は10でなければならない。

Claims (20)
- プライマーおよびトップコートを含む複合コーティングであって、
前記プライマーは、
(i)860から930のエポキシ当量を有しないという条件のエポキシ樹脂、
(ii)200から500のヒドロキシル当量を有するポリヒドロキシル官能性フェノール系硬化剤、
(iii)板状充填剤、および
(iV)メタケイ酸カルシウム(ウォラストナイト)
を含むエポキシ熱硬化性プライマー組成物から形成されるプライマーであって、
前記エポキシ熱硬化性プライマーは20wt%未満の亜鉛を含有する、複合コーティング。 - 前記トップコートは、
(i)450から1400のエポキシ当量を有するエポキシ樹脂、
(ii)1000から1600のエポキシ当量を有するエラストマー変性エポキシ樹脂、
(iii)起泡剤、および
(iV)強化用繊維
を含むエポキシ熱硬化性トップコート組成物から形成されるトップコートである、請求項1に記載の複合コーティング。 - エポキシ系トップコートが25から85mgKOH/gの酸価を有するカルボキシル官能性ポリエステル樹脂をさらに含む、請求項2に記載の複合コーティング。
- エポキシ樹脂が860から930のエポキシ当量を有しないという条件で、プライマーが730から1400のエポキシ当量を有するエポキシ樹脂を含む、請求項1に記載の複合コーティング。
- プライマーが、730から820のエポキシ当量を有するエポキシ樹脂、1250から1400のエポキシ当量を有するエポキシ樹脂、780から900のエポキシ当量を有するエポキシ樹脂、または750から850のエポキシ当量を有するエポキシ樹脂を含む、請求項1に記載の複合コーティング。
- 前記ポリヒドロキシル官能性フェノール系硬化剤が2−メチルイミダゾールを含む、請求項1に記載の複合コーティング。
- 前記板状充填剤が、複合アルミノケイ酸塩(マイカ)、変性C組成のガラスフレーク、ケイ酸マグネシウム(タルク)、またはそれらの組合せを含む、請求項1に記載の複合コーティング。
- 前記複合アルミノケイ酸塩(マイカ)が、10から40phrの量で存在し、10から35ミクロンのメジアン粒径を有する、請求項7に記載の複合コーティング。
- 前記変性C組成のガラスフレークが、1.3〜2.3μmの公称の厚さを有し、65%が50〜300μmの間の長さである、請求項7に記載の複合コーティング。
- 前記ケイ酸マグネシウム(タルク)が、10から40phrの量で存在し、10から35μmのメジアン粒径を有する、請求項7に記載の複合コーティング。
- エポキシ熱硬化性プライマーが、10wt%未満の亜鉛を含有する、請求項1に記載の複合コーティング。
- エポキシ熱硬化性プライマーが、5wt%未満の亜鉛を含有する、請求項1に記載の複合コーティング。
- 前記エポキシ熱硬化性トップコート中の前記エポキシ樹脂が、該エポキシ樹脂100部あたり10から85部の量で存在するビスフェノールAエポキシ樹脂である、請求項2に記載の複合コーティング。
- 前記エラストマー変性エポキシ樹脂が、該エポキシ樹脂100部あたり5から35部の量で存在するビスフェノールAエポキシ樹脂を含む、請求項2に記載の複合コーティング。
- エポキシ熱硬化性プライマーが亜鉛を含有しない、請求項1に記載の複合コーティング。
- 前記強化用繊維が、アルミノケイ酸塩、メタケイ酸カルシウム(ウォラストナイト)、アラミド、炭素、またはそれらの組合せを含む、請求項2に記載の複合コーティング。
- 請求項1に記載の複合コーティングによりコーティングされた高張力の鋼鉄合金。
- 請求項2に記載の複合コーティングによりコーティングされた高張力の鋼鉄合金。
- 請求項3に記載の複合コーティングによりコーティングされた高張力の鋼鉄合金。
- 前記エポキシ熱硬化性プライマーがさらに1から8phrの量のケイ酸マグネシウム微粉末(タルク)を含む、請求項1に記載の複合コーティング。
