Description
ノルマルパラフィンを含有する原料油について、水素化処理触媒を用いて水素化処理する第1工程と、
第1工程により得られる被処理物について、水素化脱ロウ触媒を用いて水素化脱ロウする第2工程と、
第2工程により得られる被処理物について、水素化精製触媒を用いて水素化精製する第3工程と
を備える。
(ガスクロマトグラフィー条件)
カラム:液相無極性カラム(長さ25mm、内径0.3mmφ、液相膜厚さ0.1μm)
昇温条件:50℃〜400℃(昇温速度:10℃/min)
キャリアガス:ヘリウム(線速度:40cm/min)
スプリット比:90/1
試料注入量:0.5μL(二硫化炭素で20倍に希釈した試料の注入量)
(I)100℃における動粘度が1.5mm2/s以上3.5mm2/s未満、より好ましくは2.0〜3.0mm2/sの潤滑油基油

これらの摩耗防止剤は、緩衝器用作動油全量基準で、通常0.01〜5質量%の範囲で本発明の緩衝器用作動油に含有させることが可能である。
実施例1においては、まず、溶剤精製基油を精製する工程において減圧蒸留で分離した留分を、フルフラールで溶剤抽出した後で水素化処理し、次いで、メチルエチルケトン−トルエン混合溶剤で溶剤脱ろうした。溶剤脱ろうの際に除去され、スラックワックスとして得られた粗ワックス分(以下、「WAX1」という。)を、潤滑油基油の原料油として用いた。WAX1の性状を表1に示す。
実施例2においては、まず、溶剤精製基油を精製する工程において減圧蒸留で分離した留分を、フルフラールで溶剤抽出した後で水素化処理し、次いで、メチルエチルケトン−トルエン混合溶剤で溶剤脱ろうした。溶剤脱ろうの際に除去され、スラックワックスとして得られたワックス分をさらに油分が5質量%となるように脱油して得られた精製ワックス分(以下、「WAX2」という。)を、潤滑油基油の原料油として用いた。WAX2の性状を表1に示す。
実施例3においては、パラフィン含量が95質量%であり、20から80までの炭素数分布を有するフィッシャートロプシュ合成により得られたFTワックス(以下、「WAX3」という。)を用いた。WAX3の性状を表1に示す。
実施例4〜8及び比較例3〜8においては、それぞれ潤滑油基油D1、R1、R2及び下記の潤滑油基油R3、並びに下記の添加剤を用いて、表4、5に示す組成を有する作動油を調製した。
潤滑油基油R3:石油系ソルベント(40℃における動粘度:3.2mm2/s、15℃における密度:0.82g/cm3)
粘度指数向上剤A:ポリメタクリレート系粘度指数向上剤(重量平均分子量:16万、ポリマー含有量65質量%)
粘度指数向上剤B:ポリメタクリレート系粘度指数向上剤(重量平均分子量:5万、ポリマー含有量75質量%)
粘度指数向上剤C:ポリメタクリレート系粘度指数向上剤(重量平均分子量:2万、ポリマー含有量75質量%)
添加剤パッケージ:コハク酸イミド系分散剤、ジ(2−エチルヘキシル)ハイドロジェンホスファイト、グリセリンモノオレートの混合物。
JPI−5S−26−99に準拠した方法により、−40℃におけるブルックフィールド粘度(BF粘度)を測定した。得られた結果を表4、5に示す。
JPI−5S−29−06に準拠した方法により、10kHz、28μm、1時間の条件でせん断安定性試験を行い、せん断試験前の100℃における動粘度と、せん断試験後の試験油の100℃における動粘度とから、100℃における動粘度低下率を求めた。得られた結果を表4、5に示す。動粘度低下率が小さいほどせん断安定性に優れ、過酷な条件下においても、緩衝器用油圧作動油として必要な動粘度を維持できるとともに、動粘度低下による緩衝器の減衰力低下を抑制しやすくなる。
JIS K2518に準拠した方法により25℃において泡立ち性試験を行い、泡立ち量(ml)と、その泡が消失するまでの時間(秒)を測定した。得られた結果を表4、5に示す。泡立ち量が少なく消泡時間が短いほど、緩衝器用油圧作動油として使用した場合には、緩衝器の減衰力を低下させにくい優れた組成物を得ることができる。
Claims (3)
- 尿素アダクト値が4質量%以下であり且つ粘度指数が100以上である潤滑油基油を含有することを特徴とする緩衝器用作動油。
- 粘度指数向上剤を更に含有することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の緩衝器用作動油。
- 前記粘度指数向上剤の含有量が、緩衝器用作動油全量基準で、ポリマー量として2.5質量%以下であることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の緩衝器用作動油。
