Description
中子砂又は鋳物砂の製造
粘結剤組成:
成型原料: ケイ砂 H32
1.固着剤: 0.1重量%水酸化ナトリウム
2.粘結剤: 3.0重量%水ガラス
(モジュール2.5;4.8%固体)
3.流動性向上剤/鋳肌改良剤:0.8重量%非晶質二酸化ケイ素懸濁液及び水
(50%)
4.流入補助剤: 0.5重量%非晶質二酸化ケイ素
(混合成分の量は、使用される成型原料の量に対するものである。)
混合凝集物:
混合器のタイプ: 羽根混合器
回転速度: 毎分160回転
混合時間: 1時間
工具パラメータ:
中子: 曲げ棒(2本)
(寸法:22.5mm×22.5mm×185mm)
工具温度: 摂氏80度
鋳物砂の導入: 振盪

水ガラスで被覆された本発明による成型材料と再生中子砂との比較試験
実施例1の成型材料混合物及び以下の成型材料混合物を試験に使用した:
・水ガラス被覆成型材料
H32+0.1%添加剤A+5.0%水ガラス粘結剤(モジュール2.5)
+0.8%添加剤C
・再生中子砂(熱的・機械的加圧)
H32+0.1%添加剤A+5.0%水ガラス粘結剤(モジュール2.5)
注入性は、計測用漏斗を用い、350gのサンプル量に対して、摂氏約20度の室温で計測された。計測用漏斗の上部の広い縁における内径は90mm、漏斗の全高は95mm、流出管の長さは32mm、内径は15mmであった。
・クローニング法成型原料 注入時間:2.9秒;3.0秒;3.1秒→3.0秒(100%)
・水ガラス被覆成型材料 注入時間:3.3秒;3.4秒;3.2秒→3.3秒(90%)
・H32新砂 注入時間:3.6秒;3.5秒;3.5秒→3.5秒(82%)
・再生中子砂 注入時間:3.7秒;3.5秒;3.6秒→3.6秒(80%)
炉内温度:摂氏105度; 前記VDG説明書(VDG Merkblatt)4.1節32頁(1997年4月)による一定重量まで
曲げ強度決定のために、試験用中子(試験棒)を両方の成型材料混合物から製造し、曲げ強度を計測した。
工具温度: 摂氏60度
通気圧(水蒸気): 1.1バール
通気時間(水蒸気):60秒
陰圧による乾燥
Claims (18)
- 溶融金属鋳造用の中子及び鋳型の製造に使用される中子砂又は鋳物砂であって、
該中子砂又は鋳物砂は、水酸化ナトリウムからなる固着剤層とその上に配置された水ガラス層とによって被覆された成型原料から成り、水分含有量が前記砂の総重量に対し0.25〜0.9重量%であることを特徴とする中子砂又は鋳物砂。 - 前記水ガラスが流動性向上剤、鋳肌改良剤、乾燥剤、及び分離剤のうち少なくとも一以上の添加剤を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の中子砂又は鋳物砂。
- 前記成型原料がケイ砂、クロム鉱砂、ジルコン砂、ほぼ球形の砂、及びオリビン砂などの鉱物砂又は合成砂であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の中子砂又は鋳物砂。
- 前記成型原料の平均粒径が0.08mm〜0.5mmであることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の中子砂又は鋳物砂。
- 請求項1乃至4のいずれかに記載の中子砂又は鋳物砂を製造する方法であって、
a)成型原料を用意する工程と、
b)水酸化ナトリウムからなる固着剤を添加し、さらに水ガラスを添加する工程と、
c)水分含有量が中子砂又は鋳物砂の総重量に対し0.25〜0.9重量%になるように中子砂又は鋳物砂を乾燥させる工程とを有することを特徴とする中子砂又は鋳物砂の製造方法。
- 添加の工程ごとに、得られる混合物を均質化することを特徴とする請求項5に記載の中子砂又は鋳物砂の製造方法。
- 前記工程c)を、混合時の摩擦エネルギーの導入又は追加熱により、好ましくは温風、放射加熱、加熱ジャケット、又は真空若しくは陰圧の適用により行うことを特徴とする請求項5又は6に記載の中子砂又は鋳物砂の製造方法。
- 前記工程c)を、室温〜摂氏160度で、質量に応じて5分〜3時間行うことを特徴とする請求項5乃至7のいずれかに記載の中子砂又は鋳物砂の製造方法。
- 前記工程c)で中子砂又は鋳物砂をろ過することを特徴とする請求項5乃至8のいずれかに記載の中子砂又は鋳物砂の製造方法。
- 請求項5乃至9のいずれかに記載の方法により得られることを特徴とする溶融金属鋳造用の鋳型の鋳型部品用の中子砂又は鋳物砂。
- 溶融金属鋳造用の鋳型の鋳型部品を製造する方法であって、
a)請求項1乃至4のいずれかに記載の中子砂又は鋳物砂を用意する工程と、
b)当該中子砂又は鋳物砂を、鋳型部品を模した空洞に注入する工程と、
c)前記工程b)の注入の前、間、及び/又は後に、前記中子砂又は鋳物砂を少なくともひとつの硬化剤と接触させ、前記鋳型部品を固形化させる工程とを有することを特徴とする鋳型部品の製造方法。 - 前記工程c)を、水蒸気と接触させることにより行うことを特徴とする請求項11に記載の鋳型部品の製造方法。
- 前記工程b)とc)を同時に行うことを特徴とする請求項11又は12に記載の鋳型部品の製造方法。
- 前記工程b)及びc)のうち少なくとも一工程の間に、前記空洞を摂氏20度〜160度で加熱することを特徴とする請求項11乃至13のいずれかに記載の鋳型部品の製造方法。
- 前記工程b)及びc)のうち少なくとも一工程の間に、前記空洞を摂氏60度〜120度で加熱することを特徴とする請求項14に記載の鋳型部品の製造方法。
- 前記工程b)及びc)の間中、前記空洞を加熱することを特徴とする請求項14又は15に記載の鋳型部品の製造方法。
- 請求項11乃至16のいずれかに記載の鋳型部品の製造方法により得られることを特徴とする、溶融金属鋳造用の鋳型の鋳型部品。
- 溶融金属鋳造用の鋳型の鋳型部品を製造するために使用することを特徴とする、請求項1乃至4のいずれかに記載の中子砂又は鋳物砂の使用方法。
