Claims (4)
- 電解質の両面に電極が設けられた電解質・電極構造体と波板形状の金属セパレータとが積層され、前記金属セパレータの一方の面には、燃料ガス又は酸化剤ガスが流通される反応ガス流路が形成されるとともに、積層方向に貫通して前記燃料ガス又は前記酸化剤ガスが流通される反応ガス連通孔が形成される燃料電池であって、
前記金属セパレータは矩形形状をなし、且つ前記反応ガス流路の端部と前記反応ガス連通孔との間にバッファ部を設け、
前記反応ガス流路は、前記金属セパレータの長辺に沿って延在し、
前記バッファ部は、前記金属セパレータの短辺の一端から他端に向かって延在し、且つ複数の連続した線状ガイド突起部を設けるとともに、
複数の前記線状ガイド突起部は、前記金属セパレータの短辺側の一端に設けられた前記反応ガス連通孔に近接する側から離間する側に向かうようにして配置されるとともに、屈曲部位を有し且つ前記反応ガス連通孔に近接する側から離間する側となるにつれて段階的に長くなるように設定され、
さらに、複数の前記線状ガイド突起部は、前記バッファ部の中間高さ部から前記反応ガス流路側に突出する一方、
前記バッファ部の中間高さ部から前記反応ガス流路とは反対側に複数のエンボス部が突出することを特徴とする燃料電池。 - 請求項1記載の燃料電池において、前記バッファ部は、その外周を形成する多角形状の外形線を有し、
複数の前記線状ガイド突起部は、前記屈曲部位の前後で前記バッファ部の前記外形線に平行に配置されることを特徴とする燃料電池。 - 請求項1又は2記載の燃料電池において、複数の前記線状ガイド突起部は、少なくとも前記反応ガス連通孔側の端部又は前記反応ガス流路側の端部同士の間隔が、等間隔に設定されることを特徴とする燃料電池。
- 請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の燃料電池において、複数の前記線状ガイド突起部は、前記反応ガス流路を構成する線状流路突起部の端部に連続的に接続されることを特徴とする燃料電池。
