Claims (6)
- 温度検出素子の電圧を検出することにより温度を示す第1の情報を出力する第1の検出手段と、前記第1の検出手段から出力された前記第1の情報を送信する送信手段とを有するバッテリーパックを充電する充電器であって、
前記第1の情報を前記送信手段から受信する受信手段と、
前記バッテリーパック内の前記温度検出素子の電圧を検出することにより温度を示す第2の情報を出力する第2の検出手段と、
前記受信手段によって受信された前記第1の情報に対応する温度と前記第2の検出手段によって出力された前記第2の情報に対応する温度とによる温度の差分が所定値以下でない場合、前記バッテリーパックの充電が停止されるように前記バッテリーパックの充電電流を制御する制御手段とを有し、
前記温度の差分が前記所定値以下である場合、前記制御手段は、前記バッテリーパックの充電が停止されないように前記バッテリーパックの充電電流を制御することを特徴とする充電器。 - 前記バッテリーパックの電圧を検出する電圧検出手段を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の充電器。
- 前記電圧検出手段によって検出された前記バッテリーパックの電圧が所定の電圧以上である場合、前記温度の差分が前記所定値以下でない場合、前記制御手段は、前記バッテリーパックの充電が停止されるように前記バッテリーパックの充電電流を制御し、
前記電圧検出手段によって検出された前記バッテリーパックの電圧が前記所定の電圧以上である場合、前記温度の差分が前記所定値以下である場合、前記制御手段は、前記バッテリーパックの充電が停止されないように前記バッテリーパックの充電電流を制御し、
前記電圧検出手段によって検出された前記バッテリーパックの電圧が前記所定の電圧以上でない場合、前記制御手段は、前記第1の情報を用いて前記バッテリーパックの充電を制御しないようにすることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の充電器。 - 前記電圧検出手段によって検出された前記バッテリーパックの電圧が前記所定の電圧以上である場合、前記第1の情報は、前記受信手段によって受信され、
前記電圧検出手段によって検出された前記バッテリーパックの電圧が前記所定の電圧以上でない場合、前記第1の情報は、前記受信手段によって受信されないことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の充電器。 - 前記第1の情報は、前記バッテリーパックの制御手段による制御に応じて検出され、
前記第2の情報は、前記制御手段による制御に応じて検出されることを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載の充電器。 - 前記第1の情報は、前記バッテリーパックから供給される電圧を用いて検出され、
前記第2の情報は、前記充電器から供給される電圧を用いて検出されることを特徴とする請求項1から5のいずれか1項に記載の充電器。
