Description
Claims (6)
- 光源と、
前記光源の光射出方向に対して略45度で対向配置された偏光分離部と、
前記偏光分離部により偏光分離された一方の偏光光を反射及び集光する第1反射部と、
前記偏光分離部と前記第1反射部との間に配置される1/4波長板と、
前記偏光分離部により偏光分離された他方の偏光光を反射及び集光する第2反射部と、
前記光源の周囲に配置され、前記第2反射部及び前記偏光分離部により反射され前記光源方向へ進行する前記他方の偏光光を反射する第3反射部と、
前記偏光分離部と前記第3反射部との間であって、かつ、前記光源の周囲に配置される1/4波長板と
を備えることを特徴とする照明装置。 - 前記第2反射部は、該第2反射部において反射した反射光の断面が輪帯形状を有するように形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の照明装置。
- 前記第3反射部は、該第3反射部に入射し反射される光が前記第1反射部の外周部に入
射するように形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2記載の照明装置。 - 光源と、
投影用画像の表示を行う表示部と、
前記光源の光射出方向に対して略45度で対向配置された偏光分離部と、
前記偏光分離部により偏光分離された一方の偏光光を反射及び集光する第1反射部と、
前記偏光分離部と前記第1反射部との間に配置される1/4波長板と、
前記偏光分離部により偏光分離された他方の偏光光を反射及び集光する第2反射部と、
前記光源の周囲に配置され、前記第2反射部及び前記偏光分離部により反射され前記光源方向へ進行する前記他方の偏光光を反射する第3反射部と、
前記偏光分離部と前記第3反射部との間であって、かつ、前記光源の周囲に配置される1/4波長板と
を備え、
前記第1反射部で反射され、かつ、前記偏光分離部で反射された光により前記表示部を
照明することを特徴とするプロジェクタ。 - 前記第2反射部は、該第2反射部において反射した反射光の断面が輪帯形状を有するように形成されていることを特徴とする請求項4記載のプロジェクタ。
- 前記第3反射部は、該第3反射部に入射し反射される光が前記第1反射部の外周部に入射するように形成されていることを特徴とする請求項4または請求項5記載のプロジェクタ。
