(A) アルカリ金属又はアルカリ土類金属の水酸化物
(B) アルカリ金属又はアルカリ土類金属の珪酸塩
(C) カルボン酸塩
厚さ1mmのステンレス鋼板(SUS304)をプレスして、図5に示すような環状形状の芯材を形成した。
・「アルニオンE」(ユケン工業社製):C剤を含むアルカリ処理液
・「アルニオンG」(ユケン工業社製):C剤を含むアルカリ処理液
・「CL−391」(日本パーカライジング社製):水酸化ナトリウムと界面活性剤を配合したもの
<濡れ性試験>
金属芯材表面をアルカリ処理後、乾燥して30分経過後に、濡れ張力試験用混合液(520μN/cm=52dyn/cm;JIS K 6768−1995に準ずる液)を金属芯材表面に、綿棒で塗布し、塗布後2〜5秒以内に濡れ性を測定した(JIS K6768−1995)。54dyn/cm以上であれば濡れ性良好として評価できる。その結果を表1に示す。
図6に示すように、ゴムをクリップで挟んで外径方向に引っ張り、ゴムが芯材から剥離するまでの荷重(N)を、プッシュプルゲージを用いて測定した。その結果を表1に示す。
10N未満:ゴムが芯材から剥離するため不適と判断される。
10N〜13N:ゴムと芯材が付着しているが、圧縮すると剥離したので不適と判断される。
13N以上:ゴムと芯材が密着し、圧縮しても剥離しないので良好と判断される。
実施例1において、アルカリ処理を表1に示す処方に代えて同様に評価した結果を表1に示す。
実施例1において、アルカリ処理時間を変化させて、濡れ性と、粘着性について測定し、その結果を図7、図8に示す。
Claims (3)
- ステンレス鋼板を用いて金属製芯材を形成する工程と、
形成された金属製芯材をアルカリ処理液によりアルカリ処理する工程と、
未加硫ゴム成形品を作成する工程と、
前記処理工程で処理された金属製芯材を前記未加硫ゴム成形品に装着する工程と、
前記ゴム成形品を加硫させることにより接着剤を用いることなく該金属製芯材と弾性材料とを固着する工程を有するガスケットの製造方法において、
前記アルカリ処理する工程に用いられるアルカリ処理液が、(A)アルカリ金属又はアルカリ土類金属の水酸化物、(B)アルカリ金属又はアルカリ土類金属の珪酸塩及び(C)カルボン酸塩を含み、
前記アルカリ処理する工程が、アルカリ処理液中の(A)及び(B)により、処理対象のステンレス鋼板の表面全体を覆うように複数のOH基を単結合させる工程を有し、
前記アルカリ処理を、10〜80分間行うことを特徴とするガスケットの製造方法。 - 前記アルカリ処理する工程に用いられるアルカリ処理液が、前記(A)、(B)及び(C)以外に、界面活性剤を含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載のガスケットの製造方法。
- アルカリ処理時間が、10〜20分であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載のガスケットの製造方法。
