Claims (12)
- 金型と被成形材とを相対的に接近させてプレスし離型することで前記金型の微細構造を前記被成形材に転写するインプリント装置であって、
前記金型と前記被成形材とをプレス方向軸上で相対移動させるとともに前記相対移動の際の前記金型と前記被成形材との相対移動速度が異なる複数の駆動装置を備えることを特徴とするインプリント装置。 - 前記複数の駆動装置の内で前記プレスを第1の相対移動速度で前記金型と前記被成形材とを相対移動させることで行う第1の駆動装置と、前記離型を前記第1の相対移動速度よりも遅い第2の相対移動速度で前記金型と前記被成形材とを相対移動させることで行う第2の駆動装置と、を備えた請求項1に記載のインプリント装置。
- 前記第2の駆動装置は、前記被成形材に対する力を検知可能な力センサを備え、前記力センサによる検知信号に基づいて前記相対移動の送り量を制御する請求項2に記載のインプリント装置。
- 前記被成形材に対する力は、前記プレス後における前記金型と前記被成形材との密着に起因して前記離型時に生じる前記プレス方向の力である請求項3に記載のインプリント装置。
- 前記第2の駆動装置の送り分解能は、前記第1の駆動装置の送り分解能よりも細かい請求項2乃至4のいずれか1項に記載のインプリント装置。
- 金型と被成形材とを相対的に接近させてプレスし離型することで前記金型の微細構造を前記被成形材に転写するインプリント方法であって、
前記金型と前記被成形材とをプレス方向軸上で相対移動させる際の前記金型と前記被成形材との相対移動速度が異なる複数の駆動装置を用いることを特徴とするインプリント方法。 - 前記複数の駆動装置は、前記金型と前記被成形材とを相対移動させる際に前記プレス時と前記離型時とにおいて前記相対移動時の送り分解能が異なる請求項6に記載のインプリント方法。
- 前記プレス時の前記金型と前記被成形材との相対移動速度よりも、前記離型時の前記金型と前記被成形材との相対移動速度を遅くする請求項6または7に記載のインプリント方法。
- 前記離型時の前記金型と前記被成形材との相対移動速度が可変である請求項7または8に記載のインプリント方法。
- 金型を昇温する昇温工程と、前記金型と前記被成形材とを第1の相対移動速度で相対移動させてプレスするプレス工程と、前記プレスの力を所定時間保持する保持工程と、前記金型を冷却する冷却工程と、前記金型と前記被成形材とを第2の相対移動速度で相対移動させて離型する離型工程と、を含むインプリント方法であって、
前記プレス工程と前記離型工程とを異なる駆動装置で実行し、前記離型工程の第2の相対移動速度を前記プレス工程の第1の相対移動速度よりも遅くすることを特徴とするインプリント方法。 - 前記昇温工程と前記プレス工程との間に、前記金型と被成形材とを第3の相対移動速度で移動させる早送り工程を更に含み、
前記早送り工程の第3の相対移動速度を前記プレス工程の第1の相対移動速度に対し同等またはそれ以上に速くする請求項10に記載のインプリント方法。 - 請求項1乃至5のいずれか1項に記載のインプリント装置を用いて金型の微細構造を被成形材に転写することを特徴とするインプリント方法。
