Description
1.発明の分野
本発明は、ブラケットなどの歯科矯正装具を患者の歯に結合する方法及び装置に関する。本発明は又、歯科矯正装具のインダイレクトボンディングの方法に関する。
歯科矯正治療は、偏位した歯を口腔内の所望の位置に移動させるものである。歯科矯正治療は、特に歯並びが著しく悪い場合又は顎が互いにずれている場合、患者の顔の外見を改善することができる。歯科矯正治療は又、咀嚼中の咬合を良好にすることによって、歯の働きを向上させることができる。
本発明は、1つ以上の比較的硬い咬合用停止部材を有する、改善されたインダイレクトボンディング用のトランスファー装置に関する。装置が患者の歯列弓の上方に配置されると、咬合用停止部材は、1つ又は複数の装具が患者の歯牙構造上に配置されるとき、患者の歯列弓の1つ以上の咬合部と係合する。咬合用停止部材のそれぞれは、患者の歯牙構造に対して装具を正確に配置するのに役立つ。その結果として、トランスファー装置の特定の構成要素が比較的柔軟な材料からなる場合でも、結合される装具の配置精度が向上する。
トレー、トレー内で受けられるある量のマトリックス材料、及び第1のショア硬度を有する前記マトリックス材料に取り外し式で連結される1つ以上の歯科矯正装具を備える歯科矯正用のトランスファー装置を用意すること;
前記1つ以上の歯科矯正装具を患者の歯列弓に隣接して配置するために、前記トランスファー装置を患者の口腔内に移動させること;そして
前記装具の1つ以上が患者の歯列弓と接触されるとき、前記トランスファー装置の熱硬化性高分子材料を前記患者の歯列弓の咬合部と係合させるステップであって、前記熱硬化性高分子材料は、前記マトリックス材料の前記第1のショア硬度を超える第2のショア硬度を有すること;
を含んでいる。
本発明の更なる詳細は特許請求の範囲の特徴によって規定される。
本発明の一態様による1つ以上の歯科矯正装具のインダイレクトボンディングのための方法を、図1〜7に示す。図1は、歯科矯正患者の歯列弓の一部分のレプリカ20を示す。例示を目的として、レプリカ20は、患者の下歯列弓を表している。しかしながら、患者の上歯列弓のレプリカが、図示の下歯列弓に加えて、又は図示の下歯列弓に代わって設けられてもよい。さらなる選択肢として、レプリカ20は、歯列弓の四半部又は歯列弓のうちの1本若しくは2本の歯のみなど、歯列弓の一部分のみを表してもよい。図示の例において、レプリカ20は、患者の下歯列弓の各歯に対応する複数のレプリカ歯22を有している。
図8及び9に示す実施形態において、スペーサ材料26aは、レプリカ歯22の咬合部に沿って延びる1つ以上の開口部29aを有することを除いて、スペーサ材料26と類似している。例えば、スペーサ材料26aは、図5に示す停止部材39と(レプリカ20に対して)ほぼ同じ位置に配置された3つの開口部29aを有することができる。スペーサ材料26aの相互結合されたウェブ(不図示)は、隣接する開口部29a同士の間、又、レプリカ歯22の咬合部の残りの領域の上方で延びている。又、スペーサ材料26aは、上述の空隙28と類似した空隙(空隙28aなど)を有している。
Claims (2)
- 歯科矯正装具のインダイレクトボンディングにおいて使用するためのトランスファー装置であって、
チャネルを有するトレー;
前記チャネル内で受けられるマトリックス材料;
前記マトリックス材料に取り外し式で連結される少なくとも1つの歯科矯正装具であって、前記マトリックス材料は第1のショア硬度を有する歯科矯正装具;そして
少なくとも1つの停止部材であって、それぞれが、前記第1のショア硬度を超える第2のショア硬度を有する高分子熱硬化性材料を備え、前記歯列弓と接触するように前記マトリックス材料の隣へと延びる停止部材
を備え、ここで、少なくとも1つの停止部材は、前記トレーが歯列弓上に押し付けられる場合に、歯列弓の複数の歯の表面の上方で延び、各停止部材は、前記マトリックス材料に化学的に結合される前記トランスファー装置。 - 前記停止部材が、咬合用の停止部材、舌面側の停止部材、及び顔面側の停止部材のうちの1つである、請求項1に記載のトランスファー装置。
