Description
前記原紙が、水溶性バインダ又は水膨潤性バインダを含有する実質的に水分散可能な坪量30〜150g/m 2 のものであり、
該原紙に水分含有率が10〜40重量%となるように水を施した後に、エンボス加工を施す嵩高紙の製造方法を提供するものである。
図1に示す湿式抄紙機を用いて、針葉樹晒しクラフトパルプ(NBKP)100%の紙料を抄紙して湿紙を得た。湿紙を第1乾燥機であるTAD7で水分率が4%になるまで乾燥させた。得られた紙を一対のプラスチック製コンベア10,11間に挟持して搬送し、5%溶液で60℃、1000mP・sであるCMC(エーテル化度0.9、日本製紙製)バインダ液をスプレーノズル13にて噴霧した。噴霧量は紙の重量に対して130%とした。CMCの添加量は、紙の重量に対して6.5%であった。CMCが添加された紙を、第2乾燥機としてのヤンキードライヤ14で乾燥させた後、ドクターブレード17によってクレープ加工を行った。これによって坪量80g/m2の原紙を作製し、これを一旦巻き取った。

嵩高水解紙の製造条件を表1に示す通りとする以外は実施例1と同様にして水解性清掃物品を得た。
実施例1において、原紙に水を噴霧せず、原紙由来の水分のみが含有された状態で、エンボスロール18によって凹凸賦形を行い且つ乾燥を行った。各エンボスロール18は150℃に加熱されていた。また、TAD21による乾燥は行わなかった。その後は実施例1と同様にして水解性清掃物品を得た。
実施例及び比較例で得られた水解性清掃物品について、0.3kPa及び2.2kPa下での厚み、並びに引張強度を測定した。その結果を表1に示す。引張強度の測定方法は次の通りである。
MDの引張強度については、試料をMDに100mm、CDに25mm切り出し、MDが引張方向となるように、チャック間距離50mmで引張試験機(ORIENTEC製テンシロンRTA−100)に取り付ける。引張速度300mm/minで試料を引っ張り、破断したときの強度を引張強度とする。CDの引張強度については、試料をCDに100mm、MDに25mm切りだし、CDが引張方向となるように、チャック間距離50mmで引張試験機に取り付ける。その後はMDの引張強度と同様の方法で測定を行う。

Claims (7)
- 湿潤状態にある原紙にエンボス加工を施して該原紙を凹凸賦形し、凹凸賦形された該原紙に、100〜200℃に加熱された気体を貫通させて該原紙を水分含有率4.8〜8重量%に乾燥させる嵩高紙の製造方法であって、
前記原紙が、水溶性バインダ又は水膨潤性バインダを含有する実質的に水分散可能な坪量30〜150g/m 2 のものであり、
該原紙に水分含有率が10〜40重量%となるように水を施した後に、エンボス加工を施す嵩高紙の製造方法。 - エンボス装置の上流側に設置されたスプレーノズルによって前記原紙に向けて水を散布し、
周面が通気性を有する回転ドラムを備えたスルー・エア・ドライヤーによって前記原紙を乾燥させる請求項1記載の嵩高紙の製造方法。 - 前記原紙を一方向に搬送させながら、互いに噛み合い形状になっている一対のエンボスロール間に該原紙を通して凹凸賦形する請求項1又は2記載の嵩高紙の製造方法。
- 前記回転ドラムと前記エンボスロールを個々に回転速度制御可能な機構によって駆動させる請求項3記載の嵩高紙の製造方法。
- 前記原紙の一方の面における凸部が形成されている位置の他面に凹部が形成され、且つ一方の面における凹部が形成されている位置の他面に凸部が形成されるように前記原紙を凹凸賦形する請求項1ないし4の何れかに記載の嵩高紙の製造方法。
- 前記水溶性バインダが、カルボキシルキ基を有する水溶性バインダであり、前記水膨潤性バインダが、繊維状のカルボキシル基を有するセルロース系若しくはデンプン系誘導体、又は水酸基を有するポリビニルアルコール若しくはその誘導体である請求項1ないし5の何れかに記載の嵩高紙の製造方法。
- 前記エンボス加工による凹凸賦形のパターンとして、凸部と凹部が交互に且つ一列に配置され、該列が多列に且つ隣り合う列における凸部と凹部の配置が互いに半ピッチずれるように配列された凹凸パターンを、前記原紙の搬送方向に対して45度傾けたものを用いた請求項1ないし6の何れかに記載の嵩高紙の製造方法。
