[式中、d=4×(D/(πρ))1/2×10-2であり、Dは3軸織物を構成するコードの太さ(総dtex)、ρは3軸織物を構成するコードの密度(g/cm3)であり、3軸を構成する一方向軸の織密度はa(本/bmm)である]の関係を満たすことを特徴とする。
W≧2/3×31/2×(2b/a+d) ・・・ (I)
[式中、d=4×(D/(πρ))1/2×10-2であり、Dは3軸織物を構成するコードの太さ(総dtex)、ρは3軸織物を構成するコードの密度(g/cm3)、3軸を構成する一方向軸の織密度a(本/bmm)である]の関係を満たす。短冊の幅Wが式(I)の右辺未満では、短冊の幅が細すぎ、3軸織物又は3軸織物−ゴム複合体による補強効果を十分に発揮させることができない。一方、短冊の幅Wの上限は、特に矛盾しない限り限定されるものではないが、幅WがAmm以下[ここで、A=20/3×31/2×(2b/a+d)]であるのが好ましく、Bmm以下[ここで、B=3×31/2×(2b/a+d)]であるのが更に好ましい。短冊の幅WがAmm以下であれば、3軸織物又は3軸織物−ゴム複合体による補強効果を確実に発揮させつつ、補強層の剛性を均一化して、応力の集中を防止することができる。
以下に、実施例を挙げて本発明を更に詳しく説明するが、本発明は下記の実施例に何ら限定されるものではない。
操縦安定性は、供試タイヤを実車に装着してテストコースを走行させた際のテストドライバーによるフィーリング評価(特に、ハンドルレスポンス及びコーナリング中の安定性評価)であり、参考例1のタイヤの操縦安定性を100として指数表示した。指数値が大きい程、操縦安定性に優れることを示す。
Claims (8)
- 一対のビード部及び一対のサイドウォール部と、両サイドウォール部に連なるトレッド部とを有し、前記一対のビード部間にトロイド状に延在して、これら各部を補強するカーカスと、該カーカスのクラウン部のタイヤ半径方向外側に配置した少なくとも二枚のベルト層を含むベルト部とを具えた空気入りタイヤにおいて、
前記ビード部、前記サイドウォール部及び前記ベルト部の一箇所以上に、幅Wの短冊状3軸織物又は3軸織物−ゴム複合体をタイヤ周方向に螺旋巻回して形成した補強層を配置し、
前記短冊状3軸織物又は3軸織物−ゴム複合体の幅W(mm)が下記式(I):

- 前記補強層が前記短冊状の3軸織物又は3軸織物−ゴム複合体を同一平面内で複数回螺旋巻回してなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記短冊状3軸織物又は3軸織物−ゴム複合体の幅W(mm)がAmm以下[ここで、A=20/3×3 1/2 ×(2b/a+d)]であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
