Description
多気筒内燃機関の排気通路に配置された触媒と、
前記触媒の温度を検出する触媒温度検出手段と、
前記触媒の温度を機関運転状態に基づき推定する触媒温度推定手段と、
前記触媒温度の検出値と推定値に基づき気筒間空燃比ばらつき異常を検出する異常検出手段と
を備えたことを特徴とする多気筒内燃機関の気筒間空燃比ばらつき異常検出装置が提供される。

Claims (4)
- 多気筒内燃機関の排気通路に配置された触媒と、
前記触媒の温度を検出する触媒温度検出手段と、
前記触媒の温度を機関運転状態に基づき推定する触媒温度推定手段と、
前記触媒温度の検出値と推定値に基づき気筒間空燃比ばらつき異常を検出する異常検出手段と
を備えたことを特徴とする多気筒内燃機関の気筒間空燃比ばらつき異常検出装置。 - 前記異常検出手段は、前記触媒温度の検出値と推定値の差に基づき気筒間空燃比ばらつき異常を検出する
ことを特徴とする請求項1記載の多気筒内燃機関の気筒間空燃比ばらつき異常検出装置。 - 前記異常検出手段は、前記触媒温度の検出値と推定値をそれぞれ所定時間積算してなる積算値同士の差、又は前記触媒温度の検出値と推定値の差を所定時間積算してなる積算値に基づき、気筒間空燃比ばらつき異常を検出する
ことを特徴とする請求項1記載の多気筒内燃機関の気筒間空燃比ばらつき異常検出装置。 - 前記内燃機関の吸入空気量を検出する吸入空気量検出手段を備え、
前記触媒温度推定手段は、少なくとも、前記吸入空気量検出手段によって検出された吸入空気量の値に基づき、前記触媒の温度を推定する
ことを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の多気筒内燃機関の気筒間空燃比ばらつき異常検出装置。
