Description
Claims (3)
- OCB液晶で構成される液晶表示パネルと、前記液晶表示パネルの温度を検知する温度センサと、前記液晶表示パネルの液晶印加電圧を制御するコントローラとを備えた液晶表示装置であって、前記コントローラは、前記温度センサの検知温度に応じて、黒挿入駆動なしでかつ白表示時の液晶印加電圧を臨界電圧より大きく制御し、または黒挿入駆動の黒挿入率が有限値でかつ白表示時の液晶印加電圧を臨界電圧より小さく制御することを特徴とする液晶表示装置。
- 前記コントローラは、前記温度センサの検知温度が0℃以下の場合に黒挿入駆動なしでかつ白表示時の液晶印加電圧を臨界電圧より大きく制御し、前記温度センサの検知温度が0℃より大きい場合に黒挿入駆動の黒挿入率が有限値でかつ白表示時の液晶印加電圧を臨界電圧より小さく制御することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記コントローラは、前記温度センサの検知温度に応じて、黒挿入駆動の黒挿入率および白表示時の液晶印加電圧を連続的に変化させることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
