Description
当該構成では、押下スイッチを複数個用いない操作部構成としたため、少ない部品点数で済み、その操作部への操作としても軽くタッチ操作するのみで第一機能が作動し、その後続けて押し込み操作して第二機能を作動させることができる良好な操作性のものにできるという作用を有する。また、当該構成は、薄いパッドとドーム状可動接点との間の位置に押圧突起を配して構成したものであるため、薄型化の維持も容易で、さらに、パッドとしても、所謂可変抵抗器に準ずる構成のものを、多方向操作部として機能させるために、抵抗素子の形成されていない位置を多方向操作部として機能しなくてよい角度方向に向けて配すると共に、抵抗素子の馬蹄形で構成される円形領域外の下面位置に抵抗値取出部を配して、その抵抗値取出部を上記下基材に短絡させた構成のものとして、タッチ操作で確実に操作座標位置の検出ができる上、そのパッドの傾倒動作時に押圧突起を介してドーム状可動接点を安定的に押し下げできる薄型の操作部構成のものに実現できるという作用も有する。
図1は本発明の一実施の形態による電子機器の多方向操作部の断面図、図2は同多方向操作部の分解斜視図、図3は同外観斜視図である。なお、図1は、図3におけるX−X線の断面を図示したものである。

Claims (1)
- タッチ操作で操作座標位置の検出が可能なパッドと、そのパッドの下方に配された節度感触を伴う一つのみの押下スイッチと、上記パッドおよび上記押下スイッチからの信号が入力され、その入力信号の判別ならびに各種機能制御を行う制御部とを備え、上記パッドおよび上記押下スイッチを含んで多方向操作部が構成されており、上記パッドへのタッチ操作位置が上記制御部で判別されてその座標位置に応じた第一機能が作動し、そのタッチ状態から続けてさらに押し下げ操作を行うと上記パッドへの操作位置にかかわらずその方向に上記パッドが傾倒動作して上記一つの押下スイッチの状態を切り換え、そのスイッチ信号に基づく上記制御部の制御で第二機能が作動する電子機器であって、上記多方向操作部の上記押下スイッチを、一組のスイッチ固定接点と、そのスイッチ固定接点の接離を行う一つのドーム状可動接点からなるものとし、さらに、上記パッドと上記ドーム状可動接点との間の位置に押圧突起を配したものとして、上記パッドの傾倒動作時に上記押圧突起を介して上記ドーム状可動接点が押し下げられる構成とし、さらに、上記パッドを、導電金属薄板からなる平坦な下基材と、下面側に馬蹄形の抵抗素子が形成された可撓性を有する上基材とを、粘着層を介し所定間隔を空けて対向配置して構成されたものとして、その馬蹄形の抵抗素子の一端子側と三端子側の間で素子の形成されていない位置を多方向操作部として機能しなくてよい角度方向に向けて上記パッドを配すると共に、上記上基材において、上記抵抗素子の馬蹄形で構成される円形領域外の下面位置に抵抗値取出部を配して、その抵抗値取出部を上記下基材に短絡させたことを特徴とする電子機器。
