Description
(光情報記録媒体1の概略構成)
本発明の一実施の形態に係る光情報記録媒体1の構成について説明する。
次に、図4(a)〜(c)を用い、従来のコンビネーションディスクにおけるBCAを記録する際の問題点について、以下に示す2種類の媒体におけるBCA記録結果を用いて説明する。
次に、情報記録層(ROM層、およびRE層)に形成されるプリピットの形式について説明する。
また、例えばBD−ROMのような再生波長405nmで開口数0.85の光学系に対応するような記録密度(1−7PP変調で最短マーク長が約149nmとなるような記録密度)である場合、従来までの低密度用のスタンパようにNiスタンパのコピー(反転複製)を得ることが、極めて困難になる(コピーできた場合、コピー後のNiスタンパ(マザースタンパ)の記録形式は、反転複製されインピットとなる)。
次に、光情報記録媒体1のトラックパスについて説明する。

Claims (12)
- 基板上に、再生光によって情報を読み出すことが可能な複数の情報記録層と、上記複数の情報記録層各々を分離する中間層と、上記基板より最も遠い位置に設けられた透光層とを有し、上記複数の情報記録層は、情報を読み出すことのみ可能な層と情報を書き換えることが可能な領域を含む書き換え層からなる光情報記録媒体であって、
上記透光層より最も遠い位置に設けられた情報記録層が、情報を書き換えることが可能な領域を含む書き換え層であり、情報を再生した場合に得られるプッシュプル信号の極性が、ポジティブである記録形式にて記録マークが記録される層であり、且つディスクタイプ識別情報及び個体識別番号を示すストライプが形成されており、
上記読み出すことのみ可能な層には、設けられている情報を再生した場合に得られるプッシュプル信号の極性が、ポジティブである記録形式にてプリピットが形成されており、
上記透光層表面の構造及び/又は材料が、上記書き換え層を基準に定められた防汚特性及び耐擦傷特性を有するように選ばれていることを特徴とする光情報記録媒体。 - 上記ストライプがバーコード状になっていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光情報記録媒体。
- 上記ディスクタイプ識別情報、及び上記個体識別番号が記録される半径位置は、情報の再生にトラッキングが必要となる情報記録領域より内周にあることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の光情報記録媒体。
- 上記透光層より最も遠い位置に設けられた情報記録層のトラックパス方向が内周から外周に向かう方向となっており、且つ上記トラックパス方向に対し、上記透光層より最も遠い位置に設けられた上記情報を読み出すことのみ可能な層のトラックパスがパラレルトラックパスとなっていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3の何れか1項に記載の光情報記録媒体。
- 上記情報を読み出すことのみ可能な層のリードイン領域がコンテンツ記録領域より内周部に設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至4の何れか1項に記載の光情報記録媒体。
- 上記書き換え層のアドレスは、上記書き換え層に設けられたグルーブを基板面方向に蛇行させることによって記録され、上記情報を読み出すことのみ可能な層のアドレスは、当該情報を読み出すことのみ可能な層に設けられた凹凸からなるプリピットにより記録されていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至5の何れか1項に記載の光情報記録媒体。
- 基板上に、再生光によって情報を読み出すことが可能な複数の情報記録層と、上記複数の情報記録層各々を分離する中間層と、上記基板より最も遠い位置に設けられた透光層とを有し、上記複数の情報記録層は、情報を読み出すことのみ可能な層と情報を書き換えることが可能な領域を含む書き換え層からなる光情報記録媒体であって、
上記透光層より最も遠い位置に設けられた情報記録層が、情報を書き換えることが可能な領域を含む書き換え層であり、再生光の入射側に凸形状となるグルーブ上に記録マークが記録されるオングルーブの記録形式にて記録マークが記録される層であり、且つディスクタイプ識別情報及び個体識別番号を示すストライプが形成されており、
上記読み出すことのみ可能な層には再生光の入射側に凸形状となるプリピットが形成されたオンピット形式により情報が記録されており、
上記透光層表面の構造及び/又は材料が、上記書き換え層を基準に定められた防汚特性及び耐擦傷特性を有するように選ばれていることを特徴とする光情報記録媒体。 - 上記ストライプがバーコード状になっていることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の光情報記録媒体。
- 上記ディスクタイプ識別情報、及び上記個体識別番号が記録される半径位置は、情報の再生にトラッキングが必要となる情報記録領域より内周にあることを特徴とする請求項7又は8に記載の光情報記録媒体。

- 上記情報を読み出すことのみ可能な層のリードイン領域がコンテンツ記録領域より内周部に設けられていることを特徴とする請求項7乃至10の何れか1項に記載の光情報記録媒体。
- 上記書き換え層のアドレスは、上記書き換え層に設けられたグルーブを基板面方向に蛇行させることによって記録され、上記情報を読み出すことのみ可能な層のアドレスは、当該情報を読み出すことのみ可能な層に設けられた凹凸からなるプリピットにより記録されていることを特徴とする請求項7乃至11の何れか1項に記載の光情報記録媒体。
