Description
Controller:RNC)及び核心網(Core Network:CN)間のインターフェース規格を開発し、最後に第4運営グループ(WG4)は無線リンク性能、無線資源管理及び要求事項を議論する。
Shared Channel、以下、“DSCH”と略称す)のような共用伝送チャンネルを介して伝送される。
Tempory Identity)は、専用論理チャンネルの専用トラフィックチャンネル(Dedicated Traffic Channel、以下、“DTCH”と略称す)または専用制御チャンネル(Dedicated Control Channel、以下、“DCCH”と略称す)のデータが共用伝送チャンネルに伝送される時及び、DSCH(Downlink Shared Channel)が共用伝送チャンネルに使用される時に利用される。そして、U−RNTI(UTRAN Radio Network Temporary Identity)は、DCCHのデータが共用伝送チャンネルに伝送される時に使用される。
一般に、無線ベアラが設定されると、一つまたは二つの論理チャンネルが所定RLC階層エンティティで使用される。即ち、殆どの場合、一つのRLC階層エンティティには一つのDCH(DCCHまたはDTCH)が使用されるが、場合によってはDTCH伝送に必要な制御情報を伝送するために一つのDCCHが追加されることがある。
前記静的設定方法は簡単に具現することができるが、所定無線ベアラは同一タイプの使用者装置の識別子を使用する。例えば、無線ベアラがU−RNTI(32ビット使用)を使用するように設定された場合は、C−RNTI(16ビット使用)を使用するように設定された場合よりも無駄に資源を浪費するようになる。
SDUと一緒にMAC階層に伝送することで、使用者装置の識別子タイプフィールド及び使用者装置の識別子フィールドを設定する(工程71〜73)。
SDUの伝送に使用されるU−RNTIまたはC−RNTIを判断して使用者装置の識別子指示子を設定した後、設定された使用者装置の識別子指示子をMAC SDUと一緒にMAC階層に伝送する(工程62〜65)。
以上説明したように、本発明に係る無線通信システムにおける使用者装置の識別子設定方法においては、RRC階層は使用者装置識別情報としてデータ(RLC SDU)及びメッセージタイプ指示子をRLC階層に伝送し、該RLC階層は、伝送されたメッセージタイプ指示子によって使用者装置の識別子指示子を設定した後、データと一緒にMAC階層に伝送するため、MAC階層は適切な使用者装置識別情報を追加することができるという効果がある。

Claims (15)
- 無線資源制御(RRC)階層と無線リンク制御(RLC)階層と媒体接続制御(MAC)階層とを備える複数のプロトコル階層を有する無線通信システム内でデータユニットを生成する方法であって、
該MAC階層により該RRC階層から使用者装置の識別子タイプ指示子(UE−IDタイプ指示子)を受信することと、
該MAC階層により、該受信されたUE−IDタイプ指示子に基づいて、MACデータパケットのヘッダーに使用者装置の識別子タイプ(UE−IDタイプ)および使用者装置の識別子(UE−ID)を含めることと
を包含することを特徴とする、方法。 - 前記MACデータパケットは、MACサービスデータユニット(SDU)である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- MAC プロトコルデータユニット(PDU)は、前記MAC SDUと、前記使用者装置の識別子(UE−ID)と、前記使用者装置の識別子タイプとを含む、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記使用者装置の識別子タイプ指示子は、C−RNTI(Cell Radio Network Temporary Identity)とU−RNTI(UTRAN Radio Network Temporary Identity)とのうちの少なくとも1つに関連する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記MAC階層は、前記MAC SDUと、RNTI(Radio Network Temporary Identity)に関連する使用者装置のタイプを指示する前記使用者装置の識別子タイプ指示子とを受信し、前記使用者装置の識別子タイプおよび前記使用者装置の識別子をMAC PDUヘッダーの一部として設定する、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記使用者装置の識別子タイプ指示子は、無線通信網において使用される前記使用者装置の識別子タイプが変更されたときに、前記RRC階層の制御情報によって動的に更新される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記使用者装置の識別子タイプ指示子は、メッセージタイプ指示子である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記UE−IDタイプ指示子は、上位階層から伝送される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 無線資源制御(RRC)階層と無線リンク制御(RLC)階層と媒体接続制御(MAC)階層とを備える複数のプロトコル階層を有する無線通信システム内でデータユニットを生成するシステムであって、
該RRC階層から使用者装置の識別子タイプ指示子(UE−IDタイプ指示子)を受信する該MAC階層内の手段と、
該受信されたUE−IDタイプ指示子に基づいて、MACデータパケットのヘッダーに使用者装置の識別子タイプ(UE−IDタイプ)および使用者装置の識別子(UE−ID)を含める該MAC階層内の手段と
を備えることを特徴とする、システム。 - 前記MACデータパケットは、MACサービスデータユニット(SDU)である、請求項9に記載のシステム。
- MAC プロトコルデータユニット(PDU)は、MAC SDUと、前記使用者装置の識別子(UE−ID)と、前記使用者装置の識別子タイプとを含む、請求項9に記載のシステム。
- 前記使用者装置の識別子タイプ指示子は、C−RNTI(Cell Radio Network Temporary Identity)とU−RNTI(UTRAN Radio Network Temporary Identity)とのうちの少なくとも1つに関連する、請求項9に記載のシステム。
- 前記MAC階層は、前記MAC SDUと、RNTI(Radio Network Temporary Identity)に関連する使用者装置のタイプを指示する前記使用者装置の識別子タイプ指示子とを受信し、前記使用者装置の識別子タイプおよび前記使用者装置の識別子をMAC PDUヘッダーの一部として設定する、請求項10に記載のシステム。
- 前記使用者装置の識別子タイプ指示子は、無線通信網において使用される前記使用者装置の識別子タイプが変更されたときに、前記RRC階層の制御情報によって動的に更新される、請求項9に記載のシステム。
- 前記使用者装置の識別子タイプ指示子は、メッセージタイプ指示子である、請求項9に記載のシステム。
