また前記種別情報が上記スコープの光量制限に関する情報であり、前記制御手段は、前記光量制限が上記内視鏡光源装置と互換性がないときは、前記種別情報に基づいて設定する最低開口率または最低透過率の開口を設定し、その後前記スイッチ手段がオンされても前記光源を点灯させないようにしてもよい。

Claims (4)
- 接続されたスコープのライトガイドの入射端面に光源からの照明光を入射させる内視鏡光源装置であって、
異なる開口率または透過率の絞り開口を複数備え、前記入射端面と光源との間に、いずれか一つの絞り開口を択一的に設定する絞り手段と、
前記スコープが前記内視鏡光源装置に接続されたときに、該スコープの記憶手段から種別情報をチェックする読み込み手段と、
この読み込み手段がチェックした前記種別情報が前記内視鏡光源装置と互換性があるときは、該種別情報に応じた開口率または透過率の開口を選択すると共に前記光源を点灯させ、前記種別情報が上記内視鏡光源装置と互換性がないときは前記光源を点灯させない制御手段と、
を備えたことを特徴とする内視鏡光源装置。 - 請求項1記載の内視鏡光源装置において、前記制御手段は、前記種別情報に応じて選択した開口率または透過率の開口を設定し、その後スイッチ手段のオンを受けて前記光源を点灯させる内視鏡光源装置。
- 請求項2記載の内視鏡光源装置において、
前記種別情報が上記スコープの光量制限に関する情報であり、
前記制御手段は、前記光量制限が上記内視鏡光源装置と互換性がないときは、前記種別情報に基づいて設定する最低開口率または最低透過率の開口を設定し、その後前記スイッチ手段がオンされても前記光源を点灯させない内視鏡光源装置。 - 請求項3記載の内視鏡光源装置において、前記種別情報は、予め光量的、温度的に測定されて設定された光量制限に関する情報である内視鏡光源装置。
