Description
(1)未処理のパーフルオロエラストマーシール材の重量を測定し(Ag)、
(2)シール材をパーフルオロトリ−n−ブチルアミンに60℃で70時間浸漬し、
取り出し後、90℃で5時間、125℃で5時間および200℃で10時間乾燥し
(3)乾燥後のシール材の重量を測定する(Bg)
ことにより行われる。シール材の重量減少率は、(A−B)/A×100(重量%)により計算される。

(式中、mは、0〜5の整数、nは、1〜3の整数、X3は、シアノ基、カルボキシル基、アルコキシカルボニル基、または臭素原子)で表されるような単量体などがあげられ、これらをそれぞれ単独で、または任意に組合わせて用いることができる。このヨウ素原子、臭素原子、シアノ基、カルボキシル基、アルコキシカルボニル基が架橋点として機能することができる。

(式中、X4は、フッ素原子または−CF3、Rf 2は炭素数1〜5のパーフルオロアルキル基、pは、0〜5の整数、qは、0〜5の整数)で表されるフルオロビニルエーテルなどがあげられる。

(式中、pは、1〜10の整数、X5は、フッ素原子)で表される化合物、パーフルオロ−2−ブテンなどがあげられる。

(式中、Rf 3は、Rf 4または−ORf 4であり、Rf 4は炭素数1〜5のパーフルオロアルキル基)で表される化合物0〜15モル%からなる非エラストマー性含フッ素ポリマー鎖セグメントがあげられる。
で示されるビスアミドキシム系架橋剤などがあげられる。これらのビスアミノフェノール系架橋剤、ビスアミノチオフェノール系架橋剤またはビスジアミノフェニル系架橋剤などは、従来シアノ基を架橋点とする架橋系に使用していたものであるが、カルボキシル基およびアルコキシカルボニル基とも反応し、オキサゾール環、チアゾール環、イミダゾール環を形成し、架橋物を与える。
(1)300℃で70時間の熱処理を空気中で行った後、
(2)パーフルオロエラストマーシール材の体積を水中置換法により測定し(C1)、
(3)シール材を対象溶剤(パーフルオロトリ−n−ブチルアミン)に60℃で70時間浸漬し、
(4)取り出し後、膨潤状態でのシール材の体積を測定する(D1)
ことにより行った。シール材の膨潤率は、(D1−C1)/C1×100(%)により計算した。なお、上記(1)〜(4)の操作中にて、シール材が溶解するなどによりシール材の膨潤率を測定できないものは、膨潤率が300%以下に含まれない。

着火源をもたない内容積6リットルのステンレススチール製オートクレーブに、純水2リットルおよび乳化剤としてC7F15COONH420g、pH調整剤としてリン酸水素二ナトリウム・12水塩0.18gを仕込み、系内を窒素ガスで充分に置換し脱気したのち、600rpmで撹拌しながら、80℃に昇温し、テトラフルオロエチレン(TFE)とパーフルオロ(メチルビニルエーテル)(PMVE)の混合ガス(TFE/PMVE=29/71モル比)を、内圧が12.0kgf/cm2・Gになるように仕込んだ。ついで、過硫酸アンモニウム(APS)の186mg/mlの濃度の水溶液2mlを窒素圧で圧入して反応を開始した。
製造例1で得られた末端にカルボキシル基を有するシアノ基含有含フッ素エラストマーとジャーナル・オブ・ポリマー・サイエンスのポリマー・ケミストリー編、Vol.20、2381〜2393頁(1982)に記載の方法で合成した架橋剤である2,2−ビス[3−アミノ−4−(N−フェニルアミノ)フェニル)ヘキサフルオロプロパン(AFTA−Ph)と充填材であるカーボンブラック(Cancarb社製 Thermax N−990)とを重量比100/2.83/20で混合し、オープンロールにて混練して架橋可能なフッ素ゴム組成物を調製した。
(1)未処理のパーフルオロエラストマーシール材の重量を測定し(Ag)、
(2)シール材をパーフルオロトリ−n−ブチルアミンに60℃で70時間浸漬し、取り出し後、該成形品を90℃に設定したオーブンで5時間かけて乾燥させた後、オーブンの設定温度を125℃にして5時間乾燥させ、さらに設定温度を200℃にして10時間乾燥し、
(3)乾燥後のシール材の重量を測定する(Bg)ことにより行った。シール材の重量減少率は、(A−B)/A×100(重量%)により計算した。
(1)未処理のパーフルオロエラストマーシール材の体積を水中置換法により測定し(C)、
(2)シール材を対象溶剤に60℃で70時間浸漬し、
(3)取り出し後、膨潤状態でのシール材の体積を測定する(D)
ことにより行った。シール材の膨潤率は、(D−C)/C×100(%)により計算した。
図1に示すように、2枚のSUS316板1の間に、被験サンプル2(20mm×15mm×2mm)を置き、250℃、荷重3:700g/cm2下で20時間放置した。その後、荷重3を加えた状態のまま、室温まで放冷した後、図2に示すように、SUS316板1をせん断方向4に引っ張り、固着強度(180度、せん断剥離)を測定した。
固着強度測定後、SUS板から、被検サンプルをはがし、SUS板の状態を目視により観察し、以下の基準により評価した。

(1)300℃で70時間の熱処理を空気中で行った後、
(2)パーフルオロエラストマーシール材の体積を水中置換法により測定し(C1)、
(3)シール材を対象溶剤(パーフルオロトリ−n−ブチルアミン)に60℃で70時間浸漬し、
(4)取り出し後、膨潤状態でのシール材の体積を測定する(D1)
ことにより行った。シール材の膨潤率は、(D1−C1)/C1×100(%)により計算した。
得られた成形品を、フロリナートFC−77に60℃で、70時間浸漬することにかえて、デムナムソルベント(ダイキン工業株式会社製、主成分:C6F14)に40℃で70時間浸漬したこと(このときの膨潤率は、158%であった)以外は、実施例1と同様に行った。結果を表1に示す。
得られた成形品を、フロリナートFC−77に60℃で、70時間浸漬することにかえて、HFE−7100(住友スリーエム株式会社製、主成分:C4F9OCH3)に40℃で70時間浸漬したこと(このときの膨潤率は、114%であった)以外は、実施例1と同様に行った。結果を表1に示す。
得られた成形品を、フロリナートFC−77に60℃で、70時間浸漬することにかえて、HFE−7200(住友スリーエム株式会社製、主成分:C4F9OC2H5)に40℃で70時間浸漬したこと(このときの膨潤率は、95%であった)以外は、実施例1と同様に行った。結果を表1に示す。
得られた成形品を、フロリナートFC−77に60℃で、70時間浸漬することにかえて、バートレルXF(デュポン株式会社製、主成分:C5H2F10)に40℃で70時間浸漬したこと(このときの膨潤率は、99%であった)以外は、実施例1と同様に行った。結果を表1に示す。
得られた成形品を、フロリナートFC−77に60℃で、70時間浸漬することにかえて、R−318(ダイキン工業株式会社製、主成分:C4F8Cl2)に40℃で70時間浸漬したこと(このときの膨潤率は、181%であった)以外は、実施例1と同様に行った。結果を表1に示す。
得られた成形品を、フロリナートFC−77に60℃で、70時間浸漬することにかえて、フロリナートFC−43(住友スリーエム株式会社製、主成分:(C4F9)3N)に40℃で70時間浸漬したこと(このときの膨潤率は、142%であった)以外は、実施例1と同様に行った。結果を表1に示す。
製造例2で得られたヨウ素含有含フッ素エラストマーと架橋剤であるトリアリルイソシアヌレート(TAIC:日本化成株式会社製)、2,5−ジメチル−2,5−ビス(t-ブチルパーオキシ)ヘキサン(パーヘキサ25B:日本油脂株式会社)と充填材であるカーボンブラック(Cancarb社製 Thermax N−990)とを重量比100/2/1/20で混合し、オープンロールにて混練して架橋可能なフッ素ゴム組成物を調製した。
得られた成形品を、フロリナートFC−77に60℃で、70時間浸漬することにかえて、フロリナートFC−77(住友スリーエム株式会社製、主成分:(C4F9)3N)に60℃で24時間浸漬したこと(このときの膨潤率は、170%であった)以外は、実施例1と同様に行った。結果を表1に示す。
得られた成形品を、フロリナートFC−77に60℃で、70時間浸漬することにかえて、フロリナートFC−77(住友スリーエム株式会社製、主成分:(C4F9)3N)に180℃で24時間浸漬したこと(このときの膨潤率は、175%であった)以外は、実施例1と同様に行った。結果を表1に示す。
60℃、70時間浸漬した時の膨潤率が50%以上である溶剤で処理する工程を行わなかった以外は、実施例1と同様に行った。被験サンプルの重量減少率は、1.3重量%であった。
得られた成形品を、フロリナートFC−77に60℃で、70時間浸漬することにかえて、ゼオローラH(日本ゼオン株式会社製、主成分:C5H3F7に40℃で70時間浸漬したこと(このときの膨潤率は、8%であった)以外は、実施例1と同様に行った。結果を表1に示す。
Claims (5)
- パーフルオロトリ−n−ブチルアミンに60℃で70時間浸漬し、取り出し後、90℃で5時間、125℃で5時間および200℃で10時間乾燥させたときのシール材の重量減少率が、1重量%以下であるパーフルオロエラストマーシール材。
- 前記重量減少率が、0.5重量%以下である請求項1記載のパーフルオロエラストマーシール材。
- 前記重量減少率が、0.1重量%以下である請求項1記載のパーフルオロエラストマーシール材。
- 300℃で70時間の熱処理を施した後、パーフルオロトリ−n−ブチルアミンに60℃で70時間浸漬したときの膨潤率が300%以下である請求項1、2または3記載のパーフルオロエラストマーシール材。
- パーフルオロエラストマー成形品を、60℃で70時間浸漬したときの前記成形品に対する膨潤率が50%以上である溶剤を用い、該溶剤に浸漬する方法、該溶剤蒸気に暴露する方法、該溶剤を噴霧する方法、該溶剤によるソックスレー抽出をする方法、または超臨界抽出による方法に従って処理する工程を含むパーフルオロエラストマーシール材の製造方法。
