Description
また、前記異常判定手段は、前記バッテリの充電が完了した後に、前記異常判定を行う。これにより、バッテリの充電を確実に完了させてから異常判定を行うことができる。
まず、図1を参照して、本実施形態に係るプラグインハイブリッド車両の構成を説明する。図1は、本実施形態に係るプラグインハイブリッド車両50の要部の構成を示した概念図である。
次に、本実施形態に係るEHC15の異常判定方法について具体的に説明する。本実施形態では、ECU30は、プラグインハイブリッド車両50が停車中で、且つ外部充電装置12が外部電源に接続されている際に、EHC15に対する異常判定を行う。つまり、外部電源からの電力を外部充電装置12を介してEHC15に対して直接通電することで、異常判定を行う。より具体的には、ECU30は、バッテリ11の充電が完了した後であって、且つEHC15が所定温度以下まで冷却された後に、EHC15と外部充電装置12とが接続されるように切り替えリレー13を切り替えることによって、外部電源からEHC15への通電を開始する。こうするのは、バッテリ11の充電を確実に完了させてから異常判定を行うため、及び異常判定の精度が確保された温度変化(発熱量)がEHC15への通電によって得られる条件にて異常判定を行うためである。
上記では、外部電源からの電力を外部充電装置12を介してEHC15に対して直接通電することで異常判定を行う例を示したが、これに限定はされない。他の例では、外部電源からの電力をバッテリ11を介してEHC15に対して通電することで、EHC15の異常判定を行うことができる。つまり、プラグインハイブリッド車両50が停車中で、且つ外部充電装置12が外部電源に接続であれば、外部電源から一旦バッテリ11に蓄電された電力をEHC15に対して通電することで、異常判定を行っても良い。

Claims (6)
- 外部充電装置を外部電源に接続することでバッテリの充電を行うプラグインハイブリッド車両に設けられた電気加熱式触媒の異常判定装置であって、
前記外部充電装置が前記外部電源に接続されている際に、前記外部電源からの電力を利用して、前記電気加熱式触媒に対する異常判定を行う異常判定手段を備え、
前記異常判定手段は、前記バッテリの充電が完了した後に、前記異常判定を行うことを特徴とする電気加熱式触媒の異常判定装置。 - 前記異常判定手段は、前記外部電源からの電力を前記電気加熱式触媒に対して通電することで、前記異常判定を行う請求項1に記載の電気加熱式触媒の異常判定装置。
- 前記異常判定手段は、前記外部電源からの電力を前記バッテリを介して前記電気加熱式触媒に対して通電することで、前記異常判定を行う請求項1に記載の電気加熱式触媒の異常判定装置。
- 前記外部電源から前記電気加熱式触媒への通電と、前記バッテリから前記電気加熱式触媒への通電との切り替えを行う切り替え手段を更に備える請求項1に記載の電気加熱式触媒の異常判定装置。
- 前記異常判定手段は、前記電気加熱式触媒が所定温度以下まで冷却された後に、前記異常判定を行う請求項1乃至4のいずれか一項に記載の電気加熱式触媒の異常判定装置。
- 前記異常判定手段は、前記電気加熱式触媒に通電した際における当該電気加熱式触媒の作動状態に基づいて、前記異常判定を行う請求項1乃至5のいずれか一項に記載の電気加熱式触媒の異常判定装置。
