Description
本特許出願は、2001年6月6日付出願の米国出願第09/876,440号「絹の触感を有する真空成形フィルムトップシート(VACUUM FORMED FILM TOPSHEETS HAVING A SILKY TACTILE IMPRESSION)」の優先権を主張するものである。
本発明は、使い捨ての吸収性製品に関する。さらに詳細には、本発明は、ユーザがフィルムをなでた(stroke)場合に絹の触感、又は絹の肌触りをフィルムにもたせる特性を有する、開口のある真空成形フィルムに関する。
本発明は、望ましいリウェット特性をもたらし、ユーザにとって望ましい絹のような触感又は絹のような肌触りをもつ真空成形フィルムに関する。

・60メッシュの穴は直径200μmであり、200μm/10,000μm/cm=直径0.02cm

・メッシュ×メッシュ=60×60=3600
・{(3600×(0.00031cm2))÷(2.54cm)2}×100=17.3%開口面積
米国単位
・OA%={((メッシュ×メッシュ[正方形アレイのため])×各開口の面積、inchで)÷1 inch2}×100
・60メッシュの穴の直径は200μmであり、200μm/(25,400μm/inch)=直径0.00787inch
・D/2=半径、したがって、半径(R)=0.00787inch/2=0.0039inch
・面積=πR2=3.14159×(0.0039inch)2=4.8×10-5inch2
・メッシュ×メッシュ=60×60=3600
・{(3600×(4.8×10-5inch2))÷1 inch2}×100=17.3%開口面積
様々な成形フィルムを、10人の審査員が絹のような触感(STI)についてテストした。結果を以下の表2で示した。審査の方法は、AATCC(1997年)評価手順(Evaluation Procedure)5、織編物風合(Fabric Hand)、織編物に対する主観的評価についての指針、アメリカ繊維化学者・色彩技術者協会の技術マニュアル(Guidelines for the Subjective Evaluation of Fabric、a Technical Manual of the American Association of Tex−tile Chemists and Colorists)、第72巻(352〜354頁)、Research Triangle Park、NC、及びASTM(1968年)、官能試験方法に関するマニュアル、アメリカ材料検査協会特別技術公報434(Manual on Sensory Testing Methods、ASTM Special Technical Bulletin 434)、1968年、3〜5頁に基づいたものである。
Claims (15)
- a.上面及び対向する下面、
b.前記上面においてランドを、前記下面において先端をそれぞれ画定する、前記上面のランドから前記下面の先端まで達している複数の開口、
c.ストローク方向に沿って整列したストローク方向のランドと横方向に沿って整列した横方向のランドとを含み、前記ストローク方向のランドが前記横方向のランドに対して15μm以上145μm以下の差異で隆起して絹の触感をもたらす複数のランド、
d.ここにおいて、前記ストローク方向のランドはマイクロパターンを有して絹の触感を増すものであり、前記マイクロパターンは50μmから150μmまでの間隔及び5μmから75μmの高さを有し、その幅よりその長さの方が大きい複数のマイクロリッジである、
を備えた吸収性物品用真空成形フィルム製トップシート。 - 前記ストローク方向のランドが20μmより大きく145μmより小さい差異で隆起している、請求項1に記載のトップシート。
- 前記マイクロリッジの長さ方向がストローク方向に沿って整列している、請求項1に記載のトップシート。
- 前記開口がユーザ側表面において短軸と長軸とを有する、請求項1に記載のトップシート。
- 長軸対短軸の比が1.75:1である、請求項4に記載のトップシート。
- 長軸の中心が相互に一致して整列している、請求項4に記載のトップシート。
- 絹のような触感の格付けが5以下である、請求項1に記載のトップシート。
- TDでメッシュをカウントした場合、距離2.54cm(1インチ)内に整列したセル数40のメッシュカウントを有する、請求項1に記載のトップシート。
- 前記トップシート上の複数のストローク方向のランドが、前記横方向のランドに対して15μm以上35μm以下の差異で隆起している、請求項1に記載のトップシート。
- 前記トップシートのセルが互い違いの構成で整列している、請求項1に記載のトップシート。
- 前記真空成形フィルムのロフトの開口面積に対する比が9より大きい、請求項1に記載のトップシート。
- 前記真空成形フィルムが1グラム未満のリウェットを有する、請求項1に記載のトップシート。
- ストローク方向に対するオフセット角が5°から80°である、請求項1に記載のトップシート。
- 前記複数のマイクロリッジが相互に離れ、不連続である、請求項1に記載のトップシート。
- 前記真空成形フィルムが直接溶融真空成形フィルムである、請求項1に記載のトップシート。
