Description
このような使い捨て用品の例としては、小児用オムツ、失禁用ブリーフ、生理ナプキン、タンポン、ベッドライナー、便器、包帯、食品用ポリ袋、農業用堆肥シートなどがある。その他の使い捨て用品としては、カミソリ刃の柄、ハブラシの取手、使い捨て注射器、つりざお、つり網、包装用品、コップ、クラムシェルなどが含まれる。使い捨て用品のためには、環境非永続性が望まれる。
(b)R11及びR12はコポリエステルのジオール成分の 100%を構成し、
(c)R13はC 8 アルキレンであって、R 13 のモル%が95〜35%であり、そして
(d)R14はC 6 アリールである。)
本発明は同様に、次のものにも関する:
テレフタル酸(25〜60%);1,4−ブタンジオール(100モル%)。(2) スクシン酸(30〜85%);ジグリコール酸(0〜10%) ;テレ
フタル酸(5〜60%);1,4−ブタンジオール(100モル%)。(3) アジピン酸(30〜65%);ジグリコール酸(0〜10%) ;テレ
フタル酸(25〜60%);1,4−ブタンジオール(100モル%)。
プロピオン酸酢酸セルロース(DSAC=0.10,DSpr=2.64, I.V.=1.3)と脂肪族−芳香族コポリエステルのブレンド及びこのブレンドから作られたフィルムは、標準的な手順を用いて測定した。ガラス転移温度をDMTAにより測定し、Fox-Flory 等式を用いて計算した。結果は、表I及び表IIに示されている。
セルロースエステルとスクシン酸塩ポリエステルおよびそれからのフィルムを標準的な手順を用いて調製した。結果は表III 及びIVに示されている。
セルロースエステルとグルタル酸塩ポリエステルのブレンド及びそれからのフィルムは、標準的なプロセスを用いて調製された。結果は表V及びVIに示されている。
セルロースエステルとアジピン酸塩ポリエステルのブレンド及びそれからのフィルムは、標準的なプロセスを用いて調製された。結果は表VII 及びVIIIに示されている。
異なる添加剤を含む脂肪族ポリエステルとセルロースエステルのブレンド及びそれからのフィルムを、標準的な方法を用いて調製した。項目96−101, 104及び105 のフィルムは、Tが横方向、Mが縦方向を表わす、インフレーションフィルムである。結果は表IX及びXに示されている。
2.74というDS/AGUを有するプロピオン酸酢酸セルロース、脂肪族ポリエステル及び第3の重合体成分の3成分ブレンドを、標準的な手順を用いて調製した。表XIは、これらのブレンドから作られたフィルムの機械的特性、引裂強度及び透明度を示している。
セルロースエステル及び脂肪族ポリエステル又は脂肪族−芳香族コポリエステル及び疎水性添加剤の3成分ブレンドを、標準的な手順を用いて調製した。表XII 及びXIIIは、ブレンドのDS/AGU, I.V.及びブレンドから作られたフィルムの透明度ならびに機械的特性、引裂強度及び透湿率を示している。
30mmのW−P2軸のスクリュー押出機上で65/35のCAP(DSAC=0.10, DSpr=2.64)/ポリ(グルタル酸テトラメチレン)のブレンドの調製を、一般的な手順に従って以下の条件の下で行なった。
ポリ(グルタル酸テトラメチレン)の供給速度=15.0ポンド/時
CAP 供給速度=28.0ポンド/時
押出機からの合計出力=43ポンド/時
供給管路温度= 190℃
スクリューの RPM=207
トルク=30%
押出機ゾーン温度: ゾーン1= 180℃;
ゾーン2−7= 230℃。
CAP(DSAC=0.10, DSpr=2.64)と共に 10.20及び40重量%のポリグルタル酸テトラメチレンを含むその他のブレンドも同様にW−P押出機上で一般的手順に従って調製された。ただしこの場合、固体のポリ(グルタル酸テトラメチレン)をCAP(DSAC=0.10, DSpr=2.64)と混合して両方の材料をその他の点では類似の条件の下で押出機のゾーン1内に供給することによって、ポリエステルを付加した。
例8及び9の場合と同様に調製されたブレンドを、以下の条件下でToyo90射出成形機上で成形した。これらの条件は、理想的な条件として見なされるべきではなく、このタイプのブレンドについて用いることのできる条件の代表的なものである。
ノズル温度= 200℃
ゾーン1の温度= 210℃
ゾーン2の温度= 210℃
ゾーン3の温度= 190℃
ゾーン4の温度= 180℃
溶融温度= 215℃
射出及び保持圧力= 750psig
金型温度=14℃
スクリュー速度=75rpm.
例10の場合と同様に調製されたブレンドの物理的特性が、12%の単量体可塑剤を含むCAP の物理的特性と共に表XIV 中に示されている。
例10の場合と同様にして調製されたブレンドの物理的特性が表XV中に示されている。
本発明のブレンドから溶融インフレーションフィルムを生成するためには、さまざまな条件を利用することができる。押出し機についての温度設定点は、添加剤がある場合そのレベルに応じて変動することができる。この例については、全てのヒーターゾーンは、25〜30のスクリューr.p.m.で 190℃から 200℃の間に設定された。これは、 183℃という測定上の溶融温度を生み出した。ダイの詰まりを防ぐためより高いTiO2レベル(又はタルク又は珪藻土などのブロック防止剤)が用いられる場合ヒータの温度を特にダイ地域において5〜10℃だけ増大させなくてはならない。温度設定値は同様に、使用されるスクリューのタイプ及び押出機のタイプによっても変動することになる。好ましい温度は 175℃〜215 ℃である。ブロー成形条件は、ブローアップ比(BUR)、フープ方向又は横方向(TD)のストレッチを表わす気泡直径対ダイ直径の比;又は、軸方向又は縦方向(MD)のストレッチを表わす引落し比(DDR)によって特徴づけすることができる。BUR とDDR が等しい場合、MD及びTD内のストレッチの量はほぼ同じであり、その結果「バランスのとれた」フィルムが得られる。
プロピオン酸酢酸セルロース(DSAC=0.10, DSpr=2.64)とポリ(テトラメチレングルタレート−コ−テレフタレート)から成る配合物から、インフレーションフィルムを生成した。インフレーションフィルムは、15:1の歯車減速機を伴うKillion 1.25インチ押出機から成る実験室規模のインフレーションフィルムラインを用いて生成した。スクリューは、L/Dが24対1であるMaddock ミキシングタイプであったが、汎用スクリューも用いられてきた。ミキシングスクリューの圧縮比は、 3.5:1であった。25ミルのダイギャップを伴う1.21インチのダイを用いた。エアリングはKillion シングルリップNo.2タイプであった。処理に先立って、ブレンドを、除湿した空気乾燥器内で50℃で一晩乾燥させた。結果は表XVIII に示されている。
Claims (2)
- フェノール/テトラクロロエタンの60/40(重量比)溶液 100mL中 0.5gの試料について25℃の温度で測定した場合に、 0.5〜 1.8dL/gのインヘレント粘度を有するジオール成分及び酸成分から本質的になる線状ランダム脂肪族−芳香族コポリエステルであって、以下の構造(I):
(b)R11及びR12はコポリエステルのジオール成分の 100%を構成し、
(c)R13はC8アルキレンであって、R 13 のモル%が95〜35%であり、そして
(d)R14はC6アリールである)の反覆単位を含んでなり、溶融紡糸法によって得られ、繊維が生物分解性である脂肪族−芳香族コポリエステルの生物分解性繊維。 - (A)請求項1に記載の脂肪族−芳香族ポリエステル50〜99%及び(B)生物分解性添加剤1〜50%(%は成分(A)及び(B)の合計重量基準)のブレンドの繊維。
