Description

【0001】

[0001]
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a vehicle seat suitable for restraining an occupant's lower back during a vehicle collision.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In order to prevent the occupant from moving forward due to inertial force when the vehicle collides, for example, the occupant is restrained by a seat belt. The state of this constraint will be described with reference to the next figure.
FIGS. 13A and 13B are explanatory views for explaining a restraint state of a conventional seat belt.
(A) shows a state in which the occupant 100 is seated on the seat 101 and is stepping on the brake pedal 105 at the time of collision in a state where the seat belt 104 including the waist belt 102 and the shoulder belt 103 is worn.
At this time, the occupant 100 is reliably restrained by the seat belt 104.
[0003]
In (b), for example, when the collision is severe or the seat back 106 that constitutes the seat 101 is greatly inclined, the occupant 100 is pulled out from below the waist belt 102 by the inertial force acting on the occupant 100 to constitute the seat 101. There is a case where a phenomenon (submarine phenomenon) occurs in which the vehicle moves forward while sliding on the seat cushion 107 and submerges under the instrument panel 108.
[0004]
As a vehicle seat for preventing such a phenomenon, for example, (1) Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 9-71167 “Vehicle Seat”, (2) US Pat. No. 5,695,242 “Seat Cushion Restrain” What is described in "System" is known.
[0005]
In the technique {circle around (1)}, in FIG. 9 of the same publication, the seat cushion 20 is tilted forwardly about the axis of the torsion bar 10 at the time of collision, so that the passenger seated and seated with the seat belt 70 does not move forward. A sheet 1 is described.
In the technique {circle around (2)}, an airbag device 13 is provided in the lower part of the front part 14 of the seat cushion 11 in FIG. 1 of the same specification, and the front part 14 is raised by the airbag device 13 in the event of a collision so that the occupant moves forward. A sheet 10 that is prevented from moving is described.
[0006]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In the technique {circle around (1)}, the seat cushion 20 is tilted forward and the occupant's legs, particularly the lower part from the knee, rises rapidly.
Further, in the driver's seat, for a re-collision after a collision, it is difficult to avoid the re-collision because the foot is separated from the brake pedal or the accelerator pedal.
The same can be said for the technique (2) when the front part 14 is raised.
[0007]
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a vehicle seat that prevents the occupant from moving forward in the event of a vehicle collision, prevents the legs from abruptly rising, and avoids re-collisions. .
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, claim 1 is a vehicle seat for preventing a passenger from moving forward due to inertial force at the time of a vehicle collision. The seating surface push-up member for raising the seat, the driving means for raising the seating surface push-up member, and the control unit for controlling the operation of the driving means based on the change of the vehicle body acceleration at the time of the collision, member comprises a pipe arm mounted swingably via a support shaft on the base portion provided in the seat cushion, in this pipe arm, and the front-rear direction member pair that extends in the longitudinal direction of the seat, the front width direction member extending in the left-to-right to connect the front ends of these front-rear direction member, the rear width direction member extending in the left-to-right to connect the rear ends of the front-rear direction member Comprising a pair of left and right front-rear direction member is a shaped member of rather a side view, a front width direction member, except during a vehicle collision is located at a position higher than the support shaft, to the drive means, the front comprising a wire attached to a width direction member, Ru is raised rear width direction member by lowering the front width direction member by pulling the wire downwards.
[0009]
In the event of a vehicle collision, the controller controls the operation of the drive means based on the change in the vehicle body acceleration, and the drive means raises the seating surface push-up member, corresponding to the position immediately before the pelvis of the occupant seated by this seating face push-up member Raise the seat cushion seating surface and restrain the position just before the pelvis of the occupant.
[0010]

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the accompanying drawings. The drawings are viewed in the direction of the reference numerals.
FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a vehicle seat according to the present invention. A seat 10 includes a seat cushion 11 on which an occupant is seated, a seat back 12 on a back, and an upper portion of the seat back 12 for receiving the head of the occupant. The headrest 13 is attached to the headrest 13. Reference numeral 11a denotes a seating surface of the seat cushion 11.
The seat cushion 11 includes a seating surface protrusion device 15 for restraining the seated occupant's waist.
[0012]
FIG. 2 is a perspective view showing the inside of the seat cushion of the vehicle seat according to the present invention.
The seating surface protruding device 15 includes a seating surface push-up member 16 for raising the seating surface 11a (see FIG. 1) of the seat cushion 11 (see FIG. 1), and driving means 17 for raising the seating surface push-up member 16. 17 and a control unit 18 that controls the operation of the driving means 17 and 17 based on a change in vehicle body acceleration at the time of a collision. Reference numeral 19 denotes a cushion spring.
[0013]
The seating surface push-up member 16 includes base portions 23 and 23 attached to the convex portions 22 and 22 of the sheet tray 21, and a pipe arm 25 attached to the base portions 23 and 23 through the support shafts 24 and 24 so as to be swingable. The pipe arm 25 includes springs (not shown, which will be described later) provided in the base portions 23 and 23 for lowering the rear portion 25a side. 23a and 23a are stoppers provided on the base portions 23 and 23 in order to regulate the maximum swing position of the rear portion 25a of the pipe arm 25.
[0014]
The swing range of the rear portion 25 a of the pipe arm 25 is restricted by the convex portions 22 and 22 of the sheet tray 21.
As described above, since the seating surface pushing-up member 16 is attached to the highly rigid convex portions 22 and 22 of the sheet tray 21, the force acting on the seating surface pushing-up member 16 can be sufficiently supported, and the plate of the sheet tray 21 can be supported. The thickness can be reduced.
[0015]
The driving means 17 includes a cylinder 31, a piston (not shown) that is movably accommodated in the cylinder 31, a wire 32 having one end attached to the piston and the other end attached to the front portion 25b of the pipe arm 25, It consists of a wire receiver 33 for receiving the midway of the wire 32 and an inflator 34 for sending high-pressure combustion gas into the cylinder 31.

The pipe arm 25 is a U-shaped member in a side view, and is a member in which the front portion 25b is arranged at a high position except during a vehicle collision.
[0018]
The wire 32 is always stretched except during a vehicle collision so as not to cause a delay in the operation of the pipe arm 25 during the vehicle collision.
The wire receiver 33 is a member in which a wire groove 44 through which the wire 32 passes is formed, and the wire 32 slides in the wire groove 44.
[0019]
As described above, the wire receiver 33 may not have a structure in which the wire 32 slides. For example, the wire receiver 33 may be a pulley around which the wire 32 is wound. In short, the wire 32 only needs to move smoothly.
Reference numeral 45 denotes a spring that lowers the rear portion 25a of the pipe arm 25 described above before a vehicle collision, that is, presses the rear portion 25a of the pipe arm 25 against the convex portion 22 of the sheet tray 21.
[0020]
Next, the operation of the seating surface protruding device 15 described above will be described.
FIG. 4 is an operation diagram for explaining the operation of the vehicle seat seating surface protrusion device according to the present invention.
When the vehicle collides, the control unit 38 ignites the inflators 34 and 34 based on the vehicle body acceleration signal AS from the vehicle body acceleration sensor 37 shown in FIG. Thereby, the explosives in the inflators 34 and 34 burn.
As a result, in FIG. 4, the combustion gas flows into the cylinder 31, and the piston in the cylinder 31 moves at a high speed.
[0021]
Along with this, the wire 32 attached to the piston is pulled, and the front portion 25b of the pipe arm 25 is lowered. Then, the rear portion 25a of the pipe arm 25 rises, pushes up the pad 42 and the skin 41, and raises the seating surface 11a by the height U.
[0022]
FIG. 5 is an explanatory view for explaining the seating state of the occupant in the vehicle seat according to the present invention, and corresponds to the state of the seating surface protruding device 15 shown in FIG.
The occupant is restrained at the waist and upper body by a seat belt 48 including a waist belt 46 and a shoulder belt 47.
51 is the pelvis of the occupant and 52 is the pubic bone constituting the pelvis 51.
[0023]
Next, the operation of the vehicle seat 10 described above will be described.
FIG. 6 is an operation diagram for explaining the operation of the vehicle seat according to the present invention, and corresponds to the state of the seating surface protruding device 15 shown in FIG.
When the seating surface protruding device 15 is activated by a vehicle collision, the seating surface 11a of the seat cushion 11 is raised.
[0024]
The raised portion A is a seat cushion seating surface corresponding to the position immediately before the pelvis 51 of the seated occupant, that is, the pubic bone 52.
That is, the seating surface protruding device 15 is for forming a highly rigid portion at a position immediately before the pelvis 51 of the occupant on the seat cushion seating surface 11a.
[0025]
As described above, the present invention provides the seat cushion seating surface 11a corresponding to the position immediately before the pelvis 51 of the seated occupant in the vehicle seat 10 that prevents the occupant from moving forward due to inertial force at the time of a vehicle collision. The seating surface push-up member 16 shown in FIG. 2 for raising, the drive means 17 for raising the seating face push-up member 16, and the operation of the drive means 17 are controlled based on the change in the vehicle body acceleration at the time of collision. And a control unit 18.
[0026]
With the above configuration, in FIG. 6, the seat cushion seating surface 11a is raised at the time of a vehicle collision, thereby restraining the occupant's waist, thereby suppressing the movement of the occupant's waist and preventing the occupant from moving forward. be able to. Therefore, even if the collision is severe or the posture in which the inclination angle of the seat back 12 is increased before the collision, a submarine phenomenon such as sliding on the seat cushion 11 from under the waist belt 46 occurs. Can be prevented.
[0027]
In addition, since the movement of the waist of the occupant is suppressed, the posture of the occupant is stabilized and the leg of the occupant cannot be lifted up unlike the conventional case, so the foot does not come off the pedal. The operation can be performed reliably, and re-collision can be avoided.
[0028]
FIG. 7 is an explanatory view for explaining a comparative example of the seating surface projecting device. The seating surface projecting device 110 has a base portion 112 attached to the sheet tray 111 and is rotatable on the base portion 112 via a support shaft 113. The pipe arm 114 is attached, and the seat 115 of the seat cushion 116 is raised at the front portion 115 of the pipe arm 114.
That is, the seating surface protruding device 110 is configured such that the support shaft 113 that is the rotation center of the pipe arm 114 is arranged behind the front portion 115 that raises the seating surface 117.
[0029]
In this comparative example, when a forward force F acts on the front portion 115 of the pipe arm 114 from the occupant, the force F easily deforms from the bent portion (portion close to the support shaft 113) of the pipe arm 114, and the occupant's waist It is disadvantageous for the restraint.
Further, after the front portion 115 of the pipe arm 114 is flipped up, a special holding member for maintaining the position is required.
[0030]
In contrast to the comparative example, the seating surface projecting device 15 of the present invention shown in FIG. 6 is configured such that the support shaft 24 that is the rotation center of the pipe arm 25 is disposed in front of the rear portion 25a that raises the seating surface 11a. is there.
In the present invention, as shown in FIG. 6, when a forward force F acts on the rear portion 25 a of the pipe arm 25 from the occupant, this force F can be received by the stopper 23 a of the base portion 23, and the pipe arm 25 is deformed. Can be suppressed.
Further, the provision of the stopper 23a eliminates the need for a special holding member for maintaining the position of the pipe arm 25 after the pipe arm 25 is flipped up.
[0031]
In this manner, by arranging the support shaft 24 in front of the rear portion 25a of the pipe arm 25 of the seating surface projecting device 15, the restraint of the occupant's waist is further strengthened by the force acting on the pipe arm 25 from the occupant during a collision. Can be preferred.
