Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a pipe connection joint.
[0002]
[Prior art]
As shown in FIG. 4, an upper pipe (not shown) disposed above the through hole 1a penetrating the wall 1 and disposed below the through hole 1a, or in the through hole 1a. As a conventional pipe connection joint for connecting the lower pipe 2 entering from below, a lower end part 4 provided at the tip of the upper pipe and having a cylindrical shape and a male screw part 3 provided on the outer peripheral surface thereof. An upper connection portion 5 having a lower diameter portion 6 provided at the tip of the lower pipe and having a small diameter portion 6 into which the upper end portion is inserted into the lower end portion 4 of the upper connection portion 5; Some include a cap nut 9 that moves in the axial direction along the small-diameter portion 6 and has a female screw portion 8 that is screwed onto the male screw portion 3.
[0003]
In the pipe connection joint, the cap nut 9 and the male threaded portion 3 of the upper connection portion 5 are inserted with the small-diameter portion 6 of the lower connection portion 7 ′ inside the lower end portion 4 of the upper connection portion 5. The upper pipe and the lower pipe 2 can be connected by screwing.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the above-described conventional joint for connecting pipes has the following problems. That is, when performing the above connection work, first, before inserting the small diameter portion 6 of the lower connection portion 7 ′ into the through hole 1 a, the cap nut 9 is fixed in advance near the upper end portion of the small diameter portion 6 with a gum tape or the like. In this state, the lower connection portion 7 is inserted into the through hole 1a and protrudes above the through hole 1a. Subsequently, the small-diameter portion 6 is inserted into the lower end portion 4 of the upper connection portion 5, and finally, after the gummed tape is removed, the cap nut 9 exposed above the through hole 1a is rotated. The threaded portion 3 is screwed.
[0005]
During the above connection work, especially when the gummed tape is removed, the cap nut 9 falls along the small diameter portion 6 in the through hole 1a or below the through hole 1a. It is necessary to push up (or pull up) the cap nut 9 above the through hole 1a again, and when there is no space around the through hole 1a, push up (pull up) operation as described above. In other words, the connection operation has to be performed again from the beginning (before the lower connection portion 7 is inserted into the through-hole 1a). It was.
[0006]
The present invention has been made in consideration of the above-described problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a joint for pipe connection that can increase work efficiency.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, a pipe connection joint according to the present invention includes an upper pipe disposed above a through hole penetrating a wall body, and disposed below the through hole or in the through hole. A pipe connection joint for connecting a lower pipe entering from the lower side of the pipe, and having a lower end portion provided at a tip of the upper pipe and having a cylindrical shape and a male thread portion formed on an outer peripheral surface thereof. An upper connection portion, a lower connection portion provided at the tip of the lower pipe and having a small diameter portion into which the upper end portion is inserted into the lower end portion of the upper connection portion, and the axial direction along the small diameter portion And a cap nut having a female screw portion that is screwed onto the male screw portion, and provided with a fall prevention means for preventing the cap nut from falling downward on the lower side of the small diameter portion ( Claim 1).
[0008]
In the present invention having the above-described configuration, it is possible to provide a joint for pipe connection that can increase the working efficiency. That is, in the conventional joint for pipe connection, it is necessary to fix the cap nut with a gum tape or the like before inserting the lower connection portion into the through hole. In the present invention having the above configuration, the cap nut is inserted before the lower connecting portion is inserted into the through hole. The work of fixing with gummed tape is unnecessary, and by providing the drop prevention means at an appropriate position, the lower connection part is inserted into the through hole and automatically protrudes above it. The cap nut can be configured to be exposed above the through hole.
[0009]
Further, the fall prevention means may be formed by a large-diameter portion connected to the small-diameter portion (claim 2). In the pipe connection joint having such a structure, when the lower connection portion is formed by cutting one columnar member, the small diameter portion is made a part and the rest is made the large diameter portion. As a result, the amount to be cut is reduced, and as a result, the time and cost required for forming by cutting can be saved.
[0010]
Further, it may be used for connection of piping constituting the analyzer (Claim 3), a dilution section for diluting exhaust gas from the engine and leading the diluted exhaust gas to the downstream side, and an upstream side of the dilution section In an engine exhaust gas analyzer provided with a heating unit that heats exhaust gas introduced from an engine to a dilution unit and an analysis unit that analyzes the diluted exhaust gas, the engine exhaust gas analyzer is used to connect piping that constitutes the heating unit (Claim 4).
[0011]
For example, in an analyzer such as an engine exhaust gas analyzer, one or a plurality of pipes are arranged in a housing not only when the finished product is used but also at the trial production stage or during a test. There are many cases where pipes are connected from the outside, especially in cases where external pipes are connected from the bottom of the housing to the piping inside the housing. However, the use of the joint for pipe connection according to the present invention can solve the above problem, so an analyzer such as an engine exhaust gas analyzer can be used. The use of the pipe connection joint of the present invention for connecting the pipes to be constructed is extremely effective in that the work efficiency for connecting the pipes can be increased, and as a result, the analysis described above. Also the prototype and testing to allow efficient, it is also possible to reduce the time and burden on development.
[0012]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 is a longitudinal sectional view schematically showing a configuration of a pipe connection joint D according to a first embodiment of the present invention.
The pipe connection joint D is used, for example, for connection of pipes constituting an analyzer for performing various analyses, and more specifically, a casing (not shown) provided with a single or a plurality of pipes (not shown) inside. And other pipes (not shown) arranged outside the casing, the pipes arranged in the casing are connected to other pipes from the outside of the casing. Used to connect piping.
[0013]
In this embodiment, the pipe connection joint D includes a dilution section (not shown) for diluting exhaust gas from an engine (not shown) and leading the diluted exhaust gas to the downstream side, and the dilution section. The engine exhaust gas analyzer (not shown) provided on the upstream side of the engine and comprising a heating part (not shown) for heating the exhaust gas introduced from the engine to the dilution part, and an analysis part (not shown) for analyzing the diluted exhaust gas ( Specifically, one pipe (not shown) arranged in the casing of the engine exhaust gas analyzer and the other arranged outside the casing are used for connecting pipes constituting the engine exhaust gas analyzer. One or both of the one pipe and the other pipe constitute the heating unit.
[0014]
The pipe connection joint D includes, for example, an upper pipe (not shown) disposed above a through hole 1a that penetrates a wall body 1 such as a bottom wall of a housing of the analyzer, and the through hole 1a. For connecting to the lower pipe 2 that enters the through-hole 1a from below, is provided at the tip of the upper pipe, and has a cylindrical outer peripheral surface. An upper connection portion 5 having a lower end portion 4 formed with a male screw portion 3 and a small diameter that is provided at the tip of the lower pipe 2 and whose upper end portion is inserted into the lower end portion 4 of the upper connection portion 5. A lower connecting portion 7 having a portion 6 and a cap nut 9 having an internal thread portion 8 that moves in the axial direction along the small diameter portion 6 and is screwed to the external thread portion 3 are provided.
[0015]
The lower end portion 4 of the upper connection portion 5 has a tapered surface portion 10 that becomes wider toward the lower side inside the lower end.
[0016]
The lower connection portion 7 has a nut portion 7a on the lower end side, and a large diameter portion 11 is continuously provided on the lower side of the small diameter portion 6, and the upper end of the large diameter portion 11 is The drop nuts 12 serve to prevent the cap nut 9 from falling downward. The nut portion 7a is formed between the small diameter portion 6 and the nut portion 7a.
[0017]
Further, a ferrule 13 is provided on the upper portion of the small diameter portion 6. The ferrule 13 is substantially ring-shaped, and the outer peripheral surface is formed so as to have a tapered surface whose diameter increases toward the lower side.
[0018]
The cap nut 9 is provided with a constricted portion 9a that is connected to the lower side of the female screw portion 8 and that is substantially along the outer surface of the small diameter portion 6.
[0019]
In the pipe connection joint D having the above-described configuration, the cap nut 9 is fitted in the small diameter portion 6 of the lower connection portion 7 in advance, and then the ferrule 13 is fitted in the small diameter portion 6 before the upper connection portion. The female screw portion 8 of the cap nut 9 is screwed onto the male screw portion 3 of the fifth screw, and the ferrule 13 is fixed to the small diameter portion 6. That is, the ferrule 13 is sandwiched between the narrowed portion 9a of the cap nut 9 and the tapered surface portion 10 of the lower end portion 4 by screwing the male screw portion 3 and the female screw portion 8, and the ferrule 13 is caulked and fixed to the small diameter portion 6. It can be done.
[0020]
And in order to connect the lower side connection part 7 provided in the lower side piping 2 with respect to the upper side connection part 5 provided in the upper side pipe, the lower side connection part 7 is inserted into the through-hole 1a from the lower side. The small diameter portion 6 is inserted inside the lower end portion 4 of the upper connection portion 5 by entering the through hole 1a. At this time, the ferrule 13 comes into contact with the tapered surface portion 10 of the lower end portion 4.
[0021]
After the above operation, the cap nut 9 held by the fall prevention means 12 and exposed above the through hole 1a is lifted and the female screw portion 8 is simply screwed to the male screw portion 3 of the lower end portion 4. Then, the connection between the upper connection portion 5 and the lower connection portion 7 is completed, whereby the connection between the upper piping and the lower piping 2 is also completed.
[0022]
In the pipe connection joint D having the above-described configuration, if the cap nut 9 is held by the fall prevention means 12, the lower connection portion 7 is projected above the through hole 1a. Even if the cap nut 9 is automatically exposed above the through-hole 1a, and the operator releases the cap nut 9 once by a mistake such as sliding the hand, the through-hole Since it does not fall to the inside or below 1a, work efficiency can be raised.
[0023]
In addition, the lower connection portion 7 ′ used in the conventional joint for pipe connection has a small diameter portion 6 except for the nut portion 7 a as shown in FIG. As shown in FIG. 2 (B), the lower connection portion 7 of the present invention has the large diameter portion 11 between the small diameter portion 6 and the nut portion 7a. 2 'is formed by cutting a hexagonal prism-shaped member 14 as shown in FIG. 2 (A), the lower connecting portion 7 is compared with the lower connecting portion 7' in the hexagonal prism. The amount of cutting the shaped member 14 is reduced, and as a result, it is possible to save time and cost required for formation by cutting.
[0024]
In the above embodiment, the large-diameter portion 11 is formed between the small-diameter portion 6 and the nut portion 7a. However, the present invention is not limited to such a configuration. For example, only the upper portion of the large-diameter portion 11 is formed. The other diameter may be the same as that of the small diameter portion 6.
[0025]
FIG. 3 is an explanatory view schematically showing the configuration of the pipe connection joint D 2 according to the second embodiment of the present invention. In addition, about the member of the same structure as what was shown in the said 1st Example, the same code | symbol is attached | subjected and the description is abbreviate | omitted.
Compared to the pipe connection joint D 2 of the first embodiment, the pipe connection joint D 2 of the second embodiment is not provided with the large diameter part 11 of the lower connection part 7, and the large diameter part 11 It differs in that a spring member 15 is provided as an alternative.
[0026]
In the pipe connection joint D 2 having the above-described configuration, the spring member 15 serves as the fall prevention means 12 in the first embodiment, and in this respect, the same effect as in the first embodiment is obtained. be able to. Moreover, it becomes possible to utilize the lower side connection portion 7 ′ used in the conventional joint for pipe connection as it is.
[0027]
