【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、集塵部を装着するケース体に蓋体を設けた電気掃除機に関する。

【従来の技術】
従来の電気掃除機として、例えば集塵袋を用いる構成が知られている。この集塵袋を用いる電気掃除機は、電動送風機を収容する電動送風機室の前面に上面が蓋体にて開閉され内部に集塵袋が着脱可能に装着される集塵室を有したケース体を有している。また、このケース体の前部には、ホースが着脱可能に接続され集塵室の集塵袋内に連通する吸込口が設けられている。

そして、ホースを介して空気とともに吸い込まれた塵埃は、集塵室内に装着した集塵袋内に捕捉され、空気のみが濾過されて電動送風機の吸気口から吸気される。また、塵埃が一杯になった集塵袋は、蓋体を回動して集塵室の上面を開口させ、この開口する部分から集塵袋を取り外して集塵袋とともに廃棄し、別の新しい集塵袋を集塵室内に装着する。

しかしながら、この集塵袋を用いる電気掃除機本体では、集塵した集塵袋を廃棄するので、掃除コストの低減が図れない。

そこで、例えば特公昭58−1936号公報などに記載の構成が知られている。

この特公昭58−1936号公報に記載の電気掃除機は、電動送風機を収容するケース体と、このケース体の吸気側である前側に着脱可能に取り付けられホースを接続する吸込口を有する集塵ケースとを備えている。そして、ケース体は、前面に電動送風機の吸気口に連通する連通孔を開口している。一方、集塵ケースは、吸込口が前面に開口し後面にケース体の前側周縁に対向して連通孔に連通する開口部を開口している。また、この集塵ケースの開口部には、フィルタ体が着脱可能に閉塞して取り付けられて、内部に集塵室が区画形成される。そして、ケース体の前部に集塵ケースが着脱可能に一体的に取り付けられて本体ケースを構成する。

また、掃除に際しては、集塵ケースをケース体の前側に取り付け、電動送風機の吸気口がフィルタ体を介して集塵ケース内の集塵室に連通する状態とする。この後、電動送風機を駆動させ、集塵ケースの吸込口に接続したホースを介して空気とともに吸い込んだ塵埃が集塵室内に流入し、塵埃はフィルタ体にて分離されて空気のみが濾過されて電動送風機の吸気口から吸い込まれてケース体内に排気され、さらに外気に排気される。

そして、集塵ケースの集塵室内に捕捉した塵埃は、集塵ケースをケース体から取り外し、フィルタ体を集塵ケースから取り外して開口部を開口し、開口部を下方に向くように反転させて開口する開口部から塵埃を排出する構成が採られている。

しかしながら、上記特公昭58−1936号公報などに記載の電気掃除機では、集塵ケース内に吸い込んだ塵埃を含む空気を直接フィルタ体にて濾過するので、フィルタ体が目詰まりしやすく、頻繁にフィルタ体を洗浄する必要があり、掃除作業が煩雑となる。

そこで、塵埃を含んだ空気を渦巻き状に流し、その間に塵埃をそれ自身の重力により落下させ塵埃と空気とを分離する構成が考えられる。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところで、上記塵埃をそれ自身の重力により落下して分離する構成では、効率よく塵埃を分離除去するために、集塵ケースの上方から塵埃とともに空気を吸い込み遠心力で外方に吹き飛ばした塵埃を自重により落下させ、空気は塵埃の落下方向と反対側の集塵ケースの上方から排出する必要がある。

このことから、塵埃が除去して上方から空気を引き抜くために電動送風機の吸気側と集塵ケースの上部とを連通する風路を形成する必要がある。

本発明は、このような点に鑑みなされたもので、簡単な構成で効率よく吸塵した塵埃を捕捉できる電気掃除機を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
請求項1記載の電気掃除機は、電動送風機を収容するとともに、上面に開口し前記電動送風機の吸気口に連通する連通孔を有するケース体と、このケース体に着脱可能に装着され上部に空気とともに吸い込んだ塵埃が内部に流通可能な吸気開口および内部に流入した空気が流通可能な集気開口を開口する集塵部と、この集塵部の上部および前記ケース体の前記連通孔を開放可能に覆って前記ケース体に取り付けられた蓋体と、この蓋体に設けられ前記集塵部の上部および前記ケース体の上面を覆った状態で前記集塵部の集気開口と前記連通孔とを連通させる吸気路と、前記連通孔を覆って前記ケース体に設けられた第2の濾過体とを具備したものである。

そして、上部に空気とともに吸い込んだ塵埃を内部に流通可能な吸気開口と内部に流入した空気が流通可能な集気開口を開口する集塵部の上部およびケース体の挿通孔を開放可能に覆ってケース体に取り付けられる蓋体に、集塵部の上部を覆った状態で集塵部の集気開口をケース体の電動送風機の吸気口に連通させる吸気路を設けることにより、集塵部の上部とケース体の上面に開口し電動送風機の吸気口に連通する連通孔とを連通させる風路を蓋体のみに設ければよく、吸気路を別途設けることなく集塵部を着脱するための蓋体を利用するので、吸気路の構成が簡略化するとともに、別途の吸気路により集塵部の着脱操作が損なわれることがなく、かつ、集塵部の上部と電動送風機の吸気口とが簡単な構成で容易に略気密に連通し、さらに、電動送風機の吸気口に連通する連通孔を覆う第2の濾過体をケース体に設けることにより、吸い込んだ空気から第2の濾過体にて確実に塵埃が取り除かれて電動送風機の吸気口から流入することによる吸気効率の低下や損傷などの弊害を防止し、集塵部の上部およびケース体の上面を開放可能に覆う構成にてケース体に設けられた第2の濾過体の保守点検が容易となり、長期間安定した特性が容易に得られる。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の電気掃除機の一実施の形態を図面を参照して説明する。

図1ないし図7において、1は掃除機本体で、この掃除機本体1は、ケース体2と、このケース体2の上部に後部が連結して着脱可能に取り付けられる蓋体3とを備えた本体ケース4を有している。

また、ケース体2は、電動送風機6を収容する電動送風機室7を内部に区画形成する駆動部8と、この駆動部8に隣接し集塵部9を着脱可能に装着する載置部10とを備えている。

そして、駆動部8は、一端である前端縁が円弧凹状で他端である後端側が上方に向けて円弧状に湾曲する底板部11と、この底板部11の前端縁に連続し円弧凹状に湾曲する前板部12と、底板部11の前後方向の両側縁に連続する一対の側板部13,13と、後端縁が湾曲する底板部11の後端縁に連続して上端面を覆う天板部14とを有している。また、駆動部8内には壁状にリブ16が設けられ、電動送風機6を収容する電動送風機室7と、電源である蓄電池18を収容する電源室19と、回路基板20を収容する回路室21とが区画形成されている。さらに、駆動部8の底板部11の湾曲する後面略中央には、下方および後方に向けて開口する凹状で図示しない充電端子が配設された充電部22が設けられている。

また、天板部14の略中央には、電動送風機室7に連通して連通孔25が上方に向けて開口形成されている。そして、天板部14の上面には、連通孔25を覆うように角筒状に上方に向けて突出し、通気性を有する第2の濾過体である第1のフィルタ26を連通孔25を覆って着脱可能に取り付けるフィルタ装着部27が設けられている。さらに、天板部14には、上方に向けて突出し前側側方に向けて係止凹部28を開口する係止部29が設けられている。また、一対の側板部13,13には、上下方向の略中間部の前側の対向距離が次第に狭くなるように内側に湾曲し、この湾曲する前側部分には電動送風機室7に連通して略前側側方に向けて開口する排気口31が複数設けられている。さらに、側板部13,13には、後部下側に位置して走行輪33がそれぞれ回転自在に軸支されている。そして、底板部11には、電源室19に連通して下方に向けて開口し開閉蓋部35にて開閉可能に閉塞される電源開口部36が設けられている。

さらに、載置部10は、上下方向に軸方向を有する略円筒状で内周面が駆動部8の前板部12に連続する装着下凹部38を有し、外周面が駆動部8の側板部13,13にそれぞれ連続して一体に形成されている。そして、載置部10の下面には旋回輪39が回転自在に設けられ、駆動部8に設けられた走行輪33,33とにて載置部10が前側となるように床面上を走行可能となっている。さらに、載置部10の外周面には、外方である前方に向けて突出し先端上面に上方に向けて当接部としての係止凸部41が突設された位置決め凸部42が設けられている。なお、駆動部8は、本体ケース4の走行方向に対して電源室19が電動送風機室7より前側、すなわち走行方向に沿って装着下凹部38、電源室19および電動送風機室7の順序となるように形成されている。

そして、電動送風機6は、図示しないファンを回転駆動する電動機44と、ファンを覆うファンカバー45とを備えている。さらに、このファンカバー45の前面中央部には図示しない吸気口が開口形成されている。そして、駆動部8の天板部14の下面には、ファンカバー45の上部を覆い電動送風機室7に向けて略円筒状に突出し、電動送風機6のファンカバー45の外周面を環状のゴム支持体46を介して嵌合支持する上部支持リブ47が突設されている。さらに、駆動部8の底板部11の上面には、電動送風機室7に向けて突出し、電動機44の図示しないロータ軸を軸支するモータヘッド部48を緩衝体49を介して支持する下部支持リブ50が設けられている。そして、電動送風機6は、電動送風機6の吸気口の周縁が連通孔25に臨み連通孔25と吸気口とが略気密に連通する状態に支持固定されている。なお、この電動送風機6は、蓄電池18より軽量に形成されている。

一方、蓋体3は、図1ないし図6、図9および図10において、平面視でケース体2と略同形状で上板部55とこの上板部55の周縁に下方に向けて突出する周板部56とにて下方に向けて開口する略箱状に形成されている。そして、蓋体3の後端部に設けられたヒンジ部57,57がケース体2の後部に回動可能に軸支されてケース体2の上面を開放可能に覆っている。

また、蓋体3の前側下面には、ケース体2の載置部10の装着下凹部38に集塵空間58を介して対向して略同径に下方に向けて略円筒状の装着上凹部59が設けられている。さらに、蓋体3の前側上面には、吸込部61が設けられている。この吸込部61は、前方に向けて吸込口としての本体吸込口62を開口し下端が装着上凹部59の中心から前側に変位した位置に下方に向けて開口する略L字状に屈曲する吸込管63を有している。なお、この吸込管63の下端縁には、気密部材64が設けられている。

そして、装着上凹部59には、略中央から吸込管63が位置する側と反対側の後方に向けて略扇状に通孔65が開口形成されている。また、蓋体3の下面には、装着上凹部59に隣接して設けられ一端側が装着上凹部59の側面から通孔65に連続し他端が蓋体3の後部側でケース体2の連通孔25に対向する位置にフィルタ装着部27に対応して下方に向けて角筒状に開口する吸気路66が設けられている。そして、この吸気路66の下流側の角筒状の開口縁には、フィルタ装着部27の上端縁に略気密に当接するシール部材67が設けられている。

また、蓋体3の前端部には、装着上凹部59に亘って当接部としての位置決め凹部70が切欠形成されている。そして、この位置決め凹部70の上縁には、位置決め凸部42に対応して吸込部61の外面から連続し位置決め凹部70の上方を覆うように下方に向けて開口する覆い部71が設けられている。

さらに、蓋体3には、鎖錠部75が吸気路66の両側に位置して一対設けられている。これら鎖錠部75,75は、略両端部が蓋体3に設けられた軸支リブ76,76にて回転自在に軸支された細長棒状の作動部77をそれぞれ有している。そして、作動部77の一端部には略L字状に外方に向けて突出する作動腕部78が一体的に設けられ、この作動腕部78の先端部には吸込部61の基端部の幅方向の立ち上がる側面に位置して先端が臨む作動凸部79が設けられている。また、作動部77の他端部には作動腕部78とは反対側に突出する係止腕部81が一体的に設けられ、この係止腕部81の先端にはケース体2の係止部29の係止凹部28に係脱可能に係止する係止爪部82が内側後方に向けて設けられている。そして、鎖錠部75,75は、作動部77に軸支された図示しないトーションコイルバネなどの付勢手段が、常時係止爪部82が内方に向けて突出して係止部29の係止凹部28に係止するように作動部77を回動する状態に付勢し、作動凸部79を吸込部61内に付勢に抗して押し込むように操作することにより係止爪部82が外側に移動して係止凹部28から外れるように配設されている。

また、蓋体3の上面には、取手手段85が設けられている。この取手手段85は、先端部が吸込部61に連続して前後方向に軸方向を有して設けられた第1の取手86と、この第1の取手86の後端部に一端側が一体に連続し他端側が蓋体3の後部両側にそれぞれ連続して設けられて第1の取手86の軸方向に対して交差する方向に軸方向を有し第1の取手86を対称軸として略対称に対をなす第2の取手87,87とを備え、平面視で略Y字状に形成されている。なお、この取手手段85は、掃除機本体1の重心、すなわち重量の比較的重い電動送風機6および蓄電池18を収容するケース体2およびこのケース体2に取り付けられる蓋体3を備えた本体ケース4の重心の上方に位置する状態で設けられている。また、取手手段85の吸込部61の近傍には、例えば充電中および蓄電池18の電荷の残量が少なくなって充電を要求する充電お知らせサインなどを表示する表示手段89が配設されている。さらに、取手手段85内には、一端がケース体2の回路室21内の回路基板20に接続された電線であるリード線90がヒンジ部57内を通って配設され、表示手段89に接続されるとともに吸込部61に配設されたコネクタ91に接続されている。

一方、集塵部9は、図1、図5、図8、図11および図12に示すように、上端面に排出口95を開口し底部周縁がケース体2の装着下凹部38に嵌挿係合して収容され上端周縁が蓋体3の装着上凹部59に嵌挿係合して収容され集塵空間58に配設される有底円筒状の集塵カップ96と、この集塵カップ96の上端面の開口に着脱可能に嵌挿して装着される濾過部97とを備えている。なお、集塵カップ96の周縁と装着下凹部38および装着上凹部の内周面との間には間隙があってもなくてもよい。

そして、集塵カップ96には、一端である上端が上端外周面に連続して設けられ他端である下端が自由端で、下端部にケース体2の位置決め凸部42の係止凸部41が係脱可能に挿入係合する取手部としてのハンドル部98が設けられている。なお、このハンドル部98は、上面が凹状に形成されている。

また、濾過部97は、集塵カップ96の上端面に開口する排出口95に嵌合される略円筒状の嵌合部100と、この嵌合部100の下端面を閉塞する蓋部101とを備え、皿状に形成されている。そして、嵌合部100の外周縁には、外方に突出しさらに先端が上方に向けて舌片状に突出し、ハンドル部98の上面に係合して先端部がハンドル部98から斜め上方に突出するつまみ部102が設けられている。

さらに、濾過部97の蓋部101の略中央には、つまみ部102が設けられた周縁近傍に変位した位置に下方に向けて円筒状で下端が嵌合部100の接線方向に沿った側方に向けて吸気開口103を開口する吸気筒部104が設けられている。また、蓋部101の略中央には略円形の集気開口106が開口形成され、この集気開口106の周縁には下方に向けて略円筒状に突出する集気筒部107が設けられている。なお、蓋部101は、吸気筒部104の位置から次第に下端側に向けて集気筒部107の外周面で螺旋状となるように形成されている。そして、集気筒部107には、底部が円弧状に閉塞された有底円筒状で通気性を有する網目部材にて形成された第2のフィルタ108が着脱可能に取り付けられている。

また、濾過部97には、嵌合部100の上端面の開口に着脱可能に取り付けられる格子状の枠部110が設けられている。そして、枠部110には、吸気筒部104を係合する凹状の案内凹部111が設けられている。また、枠部110には、上方に向けて舌片状に突出する操作つまみ112が設けられている。そして、蓋部101と枠部110との間には、通気性を有する第3のフィルタ113が着脱可能に集気開口106を覆って取り付けられている。なお、第3のフィルタ113は、蓋部の101の周縁近傍に上方に向けて略放射壁状に突出する保持リブ114上に載置して集気開口106との間に集気空間115を開口して第3のフィルタ113の略全体を通気するように取り付けられている。これら第2のフィルタ108および第3のフィルタ113にて第1の濾過体が構成される。

さらに、濾過部97の嵌合部100の外周面には、集塵カップ96に濾過部97を略気密に取り付ける環状の封止部材117が設けられている。

そして、濾過部97のつまみ部102をハンドル部98に係合して集塵カップ96に取り付けて集塵部9を構成した状態で、集塵カップ96の下部をケース体2の装着下凹部38に嵌挿係合して収容させ上部を蓋体3の装着上凹部59に嵌挿係合して収容させ、集塵部9を蓋体3とケース体2とにて挟持するように本体ケース4の集塵空間58に装着する。この装着した状態では、濾過部97の吸気筒部104の上端縁に蓋体3の吸込部61の吸込管63の下端が気密部材64を介して略気密に密着して連通するとともに、枠部110が蓋体3の通孔65に封止部材117にて略気密に密着して連通する。すなわち吸込部61の本体吸込口62が、吸込部61の吸込管63、集塵部9の吸気筒部104、集塵カップ96内、集気筒部107、集気開口106、通孔65、吸気路66および連通孔25を介して電動送風機6の吸気口に連通する状態となり、この本体吸込口62から電動送風機6の吸気口に至る吸気風路118に集塵部9が位置する状態となる。

また、集塵部9は、ハンドル部98の下端に位置決め凸部42の係止凸部41が係合し、ハンドル部98の上部が蓋体3の位置決め凹部70に係合し、回り止めされて位置決め固定される。なお、覆い部71は、外面がハンドル部98の外面に連続するようにつまみ部102の先端部が上方に向けて突出するハンドル部98の上部を覆った状態となる。なお、この集塵部9は、電動送風機6および蓄電池18より軽量、すなわち、重量は集塵部9<転動送風機6<蓄電池18の関係で重くなっている。

一方、図6において、121はホースで、ホース121は、可撓性を有し図示しない電線がスパイラル状に設けられたホース本体122と、このホース本体122の一端である基端に設けられ掃除機本体1の吸込部61の本体吸込口62に嵌合接続する接続管123と、ホース本体122の他端である先端に設けられた略く字状に屈曲する把持部124とを備えている。そして、接続管123には、電線の一端に接続され吸込部61に配設されたコネクタ91に接続される図示しない端子ピンが配設されている。さらに、把持部124には、屈曲する部分の基端側に面する部分に電線に接続され電動送風機6などの駆動を設定する各種ボタン125,125を有した操作手段126が配設されている。

さらに、ホース121の把持部124の先端には、ホース121の電線に接続される図示しない電線が配線された伸縮可能な延長管128を介して吸込口本体129が着脱可能に接続される。そして、延長管128には、軸方向に沿って壁状に設けられた図示しない首部の先端縁に延長管128の外周面の周方向に沿って幅広鍔状に係止鍔部130が設けられ、図13および図14に示すような伸縮可能な隙間ノズル131などの付属品を着脱可能に取り付ける付属品取付部132が設けられている。さらに、延長管128には、延長管128を嵌着する環状の保持部134の外周面に先端が延長管128の先端方向に略L字状に屈曲して設けられた取付爪部135を有し、掃除機本体1などに延長管128を取り付ける取付手段136が設けられている。また、吸込口本体129には、下面に図示しない床面吸込口を開口し回転清掃体が回転自在に配設される吸込室を有している。また、吸込口本体129には、ホース121および延長管128に配設された電線を介して掃除機本体1の蓄電池18から電力が供給されて回転清掃体を回転駆動させる図示しない電動機が配設されている。

一方、図13ないし図15において、141は充電器で、この充電器141は、上面が掃除機本体1の後面の曲面に対応して円弧凹状の載置凹部142を有した略箱状のケース143を有している。そして、このケース143の載置凹部142には、掃除機本体1の充電部22に係合し充電部22の充電端子に接続する図示しない充電金具を内面に配設したスリット144を有した充電凸部145が突設されている。また、ケース143の後部には、取付手段136の取付爪部135を係止する取付凹部146が設けられている。さらに、ケース143の後部には、略対角線方向に突出し下面が床面に当接する足部148,148が設けられている。そして、これら足部148,148の上面には、隙間ノズル131や家具ブラシ149などの付属品を取り付ける付属品取付凹部150,150が開口形成されている。

そして、付属品である隙間ノズル131には、軸方向に沿ってスリット状で延長管128に設けられた付属品取付部132の首部が係脱可能に挿入係合し開口縁にて係止鍔部130を抜け止め係止するスリット部153を有した係止凹部154が設けられている。また、家具ブラシ149は、図14および図16ないし図18に示すように、下面に吸塵口160を開口し開口縁の外側にブラシ毛161が植設されたブラシ本体162と、このブラシ本体162に先端が吸塵口160に連通して軸支され基端に隙間ノズル131の先端が着脱可能に挿入係合する断面略楕円状の連通管部163が先端部に設けられた回転軸164にて回動可能に軸支されている。さらに、この連通管部163の外周面には、延長管128やホース121の把持部124の先端が略気密に嵌合する鍔状に突出したフランジ部166が設けられている。そして、充電器141の足部148に設けられた付属品取付凹部150は、内周面が家具ブラシ149の連通管部163が挿入係合可能な形状に形成され、底部に隙間ノズル131の先端に挿入係合可能な図示しない取付凸部を突設している。
