Abstract
Description
本出願は、2018年12月21日に出願された米国仮特許出願第US62/784,065号の優先権を主張するものであり、その内容は参照によりその全体が本明細書に組み込まれる。
光学ユニットはまた、流体計測デバイスを監視して、流体または液滴のサイズおよび/または特性、ならびに気隙(複数可)および/または気泡などの流体計測デバイス内の一般的な流体流量を監視することによって流体分注を監視することができる。ここで、気隙(複数可)および/または気泡などは、シリンジ型計測デバイスで発生し得、不十分な試料がアッセイ基板上に計測される場合、アッセイにおいて偽陰性をもたらす。高スループットを可能にするために使用される試料の濃度および体積が小さい場合、計測の誤差は、結果が悪化ならびに品質および再現性の欠如につながり得る。試薬計測システムまたはデバイス、および任意の流動流体または緩衝液計測デバイスの気泡または気隙から、同様の事象が生じる可能性がある。このため、品質制御光学ユニットにより、送達される流体のうちの1つ以上を監視して、正しい品質および量の流体を確保し、結果の再現性および信頼性を改善することができる。
Claims (22)
- アッセイデバイスアナライザであって、
アッセイカートリッジを解放可能に支持するためのカートリッジステージであって、前記アッセイカートリッジが、横方向フローアッセイ基板を収容する、カートリッジステージと、
流体計測デバイスと、
複数のアッセイカートリッジを垂直に支持するための少なくとも1つの垂直支持構造と、
前記カートリッジステージの昇降の垂直方向の位置合わせのために前記カートリッジステージに連結された昇降調整機構と、
前記垂直支持構造および前記流体計測デバイスに対する前記カートリッジステージの並進方向の位置合わせのために前記カートリッジステージに連結された並進調整機構と、を含む、アナライザ。 - 前記昇降調整機構および前記並進調整機構が、独立している、請求項1に記載のアナライザ。
- 前記流体計測デバイスが、前記アッセイカートリッジの様々な構成を収容するように位置調整され得る、請求項1または2に記載のアナライザ。
- 複数のアッセイカートリッジを垂直に支持するための第2の垂直支持構造をさらに含む、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載のアナライザ。
- 前記カートリッジステージが、前記アッセイカートリッジ上の1つ以上の要素を解放可能に把持するステージマウントを含む、請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載のアナライザ。

- 前記流体計測デバイスが、試料計測デバイス、流動流体計測デバイス、または洗浄液計測デバイスである、請求項1~8のいずれか一項に記載のアナライザ。
- 1つ以上の追加の流体計測デバイスをさらに含む、請求項1~9のいずれか一項に記載のアナライザ。
- 前記アナライザが、ハウジング内に封入される、請求項1~10のいずれか一項に記載のアナライザ。
- 前記ハウジングが、2つ以上のアッセイデバイスアナライザを含む、請求項11に記載のアナライザ。
- 1つ以上の温度制御デバイスおよび湿度制御デバイスをさらに含む、請求項1~12のいずれか一項に記載のアナライザ。
- 前記垂直支持構造が、ホッパーである、請求項1~13のいずれか一項に記載のアナライザ。

カートリッジステージを垂直支持構造の下で位置合わせすることであって、前記垂直支持構造が、複数の垂直に配置されたアッセイカートリッジを保持し、各アッセイカートリッジが、検出領域を有するアッセイ基板を含む、位置合わせすることと、
前記カートリッジステージを昇降させて、前記カートリッジステージを前記垂直支持体内に保持されるアッセイカートリッジと係合させることと、
前記係合されたアッセイカートリッジを有する前記カートリッジステージを前記垂直支持構造から離し、流体計測デバイスと位置合わせすることと、
前記流体計測デバイスから前記アッセイカートリッジ内の前記アッセイ基板上への流体を計測することと、
前記アッセイカートリッジをインキュベートすることと、
前記アッセイ基板の検出領域上で試料の成分を検出することと、を含む、方法。 - 前記アッセイカートリッジをインキュベートする前に、1つ以上の追加の試料、緩衝液、試薬、または検出成分を前記アッセイ基板上に分注することをさらに含む、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記アナライザの周囲の温度および湿度を制御することをさらに含む、請求項18または19に記載の方法。
- 前記流体計測デバイスおよび前記検出デバイスの位置を調整することをさらに含む、請求項18~20のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
