別の態様では、本発明は、可視スペクトルに色を有する水溶性の多糖の形成方法を提供する。この方法は、水溶性多糖と、以下の反応性官能基つまりモノクロロトリアジン基、モノフルオロクロロトリアジン基、ジクロロトリアジン基、ジフルオロクロロピリミジン基、ジクロロキノキサリン基、トリクロロピリミジン基、ビニルスルホン基、ビニルアミド基又はスルホニルフルオリド基のうちの少なくとも1つ以上を備えた色素分子と、を反応させる工程からなる。
いくつかの実施形態において、組成物は、無菌性であり、例えば、熱、放射線又は無菌濾過によって滅菌される。
いくつかの実施形態では、注射用組成物は、観察する色の波長よりも短い波長の入射放射線にさらされた際に胃腸管系の粘膜越しに容易に観察できる、周囲の胃の環境とは異なる色(緑、青、紫等)を有する(注射用組成物が紫外光にさらされて蛍光を発する為)。
本願発明との関連で使用される多糖は、約5kDa(キロダルトン)以下から20,000kDa以上まで分子量が広範囲にわたって異なっていてよい。
既知の色素には、アクリジン色素、アントラキノン色素、アリールメタン色素、ジアリールメタン色素、トリアリールメタン色素(トリフェニルメタン色素を含む)、アゾ色素、ジアゾニウム色素、ニトロ色素、ニトロソ色素、フタロシアニン色素、キノン−イミン色素、アジン色素(azin dyes)、ユーホジン色素(eurhodin dyes)、サフラニン色素、インダミン色素、インドフェノール色素、オキサジン色素、オキサゾン色素、チアジン色素、チアゾール色素、サフラニン色素、キサンテン色素、フルオレン色素、ピロニン色素、フルオロン色素、ローダミン色素等がある。
所与の多糖を水に添加することにより粘度は増加する。溶液の粘度は、ポリマー濃度とポリマーの分子量双方の関数である。一定の重量濃度では、溶液の粘度は、一般に溶液の粘度を調節する目的で使用されるポリマーの分子量と指数関数的な関係を示す。その結果、ポリマーの分子量が大きくなるほど所与の粘度を達成する為に使用するポリマー(重量)濃度を低くすることができるが、ポリマーの分子量が小さくなるほど所与の粘度を達成する為に使用するポリマーの(重量)濃度は高くなる。
いくつかの実施形態では、注射用組成物は、親水性ポリマー顔料と水と1つ以上の追加的な化学物質とからなる。
切除した組織の回収にはいくつかのオプションが利用できる。例えば、キャップを用いた内視鏡粘膜下層剥離術後には、切除した断片は、キャップの中に集められて患者の体内から回収される。別例では、内視鏡的切除術又は内視鏡粘膜下層剥離術の間に切除された組織は、特別に設計された回収装置(ネット、バスケット等)で回収することもできる。
キットは、例えば、ここで説明されている注射用組成物を患者の組織内部にいつでも注入できる形式で(1つ以上の予め装填されたシリンジで提供される)含み、(a)1つ以上の注射針(内視鏡注射針)、(b)1つ以上の組織切除装置(外科メス、ナイフ、はさみ)、(c)1つ以上の組織回収装置(ネット、バスケット、キャップ等)、(d)組織注入機能と組織切除機能とを備える装置(外科メスを組み合わせた針)、組織切除機能と組織回収機能とを備える装置(ネット、バスケット又はキャップと組み合わせた外科メス)、又は組織注入機能と組織切除機能と組織回収機能とを備える装置(外科メスとネット、バスケット又はキャップとを組み合わせた針)等の1つ以上の組み合わせ装置、(e)内視鏡及び(f)1つ以上の閉鎖装置(内視鏡クリップ)、のうちの1つ以上を備える。キットは、保管に関する情報及びキットで提供される製品の使用法についての説明を含む印刷資料をさらに含みうる。
Claims (15)
- 水と、
親水性ポリマーであって、入射可視光を反射すること及び第1波長の可視スペクトルの入射放射線を吸収して前記第1波長より長い第2波長の可視スペクトルの光を再放射することのうちの少なくともいずれか一方によって可視スペクトルに色を有する、親水性ポリマーと
を含有する、無菌性注射用流体組成物。 - 前記親水性ポリマーは、共有結合した色素分子を有する、請求項1に記載の無菌性注射用流体組成物。
- 前記親水性ポリマーは、複数の異なる共有結合した色素分子を有する、請求項1又は2に記載の無菌性注射用流体組成物。
- 前記無菌性注射用流体組成物は、共有結合したさらなる色素分子を有したさらなる親水性ポリマーを含有し、前記色素分子と前記さらなる色素分子とは異なり、前記親水性ポリマーと前記さらなる親水性ポリマーとは、同一であり、又は相違する、請求項1又は2に記載の無菌性注射用流体組成物。
- 前記色素分子は青色色素分子である、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の無菌性注射用流体組成物。
- 前記色素分子は蛍光色素分子である、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の無菌性注射用流体組成物。
- 前記色素分子は反応性色素分子である、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の無菌性注射用流体組成物。
- 前記親水性ポリマーは多糖である、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の無菌性注射用流体組成物。
- 前記無菌性注射用流体組成物は、せん断力の下で粘度の低下を示す、請求項1〜8のうちのいずれか一項に記載の無菌性注射用流体組成物。
- 前記無菌性注射用流体組成物は、チキソトロピー流体組成物又は偽塑性流体組成物である、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の無菌性注射用流体組成物。
- 前記親水性ポリマーは、(a)共有結合した色素分子を有するキサンタンガム及び(b)共有結合した色素分子を有するヒアルロン酸及びその塩、から選択される多糖である、請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載の無菌性注射用流体組成物。
- 前記無菌性注射用流体組成物はシリンジで提供される、請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載の無菌性注射用流体組成物。
- (a)容器で提供される請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載の前記無菌性注射用流体組成物と、(b)(i)注射針と(ii)組織切除装置と(iii)組織回収装置と(iv)内視鏡と(v)閉鎖装置のうちの少なくともいずれか1つと、
からなるキット。 - 患者の体内の標的部位において請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に係る前記無菌性注射用流体組成物を注入する工程と、
前記標的部位において外科処置を実施する工程と、
からなる方法。 - 水溶性多糖と、色素分子であって、モノクロロトリアジン基、モノフルオロクロロトリアジン基、ジクロロトリアジン基、ジフルオロクロロピリミジン基、ジクロロキノキサリン基、トリクロロピリミジン基、ビニルスルホン基、ビニルアミド基、スルホニルフルオリド基のうちの1つ以上の反応性基を有する色素分子と、を反応させる工程からなる、可視スペクトルに色を有した水溶性多糖を生産する方法。
