〔3〕溶媒にメトキシアセトンが70vоl%以上含まれてもよい。
〔4〕溶媒はメトキシアセトンのみからなるものであってもよい。
メトキシアセトンの体積比率が高くなる程、電導度の向上が期待される。
本実施形態の電解液はリチウムイオン電池用である。リチウムイオン電池の詳細は後述される。電解液は溶媒およびリチウム塩を少なくとも含む。電解液は高い電導度を有することが期待される。
溶媒はメトキシアセトンを少なくとも含む。例えば溶媒にメトキシアセトンが20vol%以上100vоl%以下(20体積%以上100体積%以下)含まれてもよい。溶媒組成は従来公知の方法により特定され得る。溶媒組成は例えば核磁気共鳴(NMR)法、ガスクロマトグラフ質量分析法(GC−MS)法等により特定され得る。
Li塩は溶媒に溶解している。Li塩の濃度は例えば0.7mоl/L以上2mоl/L以下(0.7M以上2M以下)であってもよい。Li塩の濃度は従来公知の方法により測定され得る。Li塩の濃度は例えばNMR法により測定され得る。Li塩の濃度は0.7mоl/L以上1.5mоl/L以下であってもよい。該濃度範囲において電導度の向上が期待される。Li塩の濃度は1.1mоl/L以上1.5mоl/L以下であってもよい。該濃度範囲において電導度の向上が期待される。
本実施形態の電解液は溶媒およびLi塩を含む限り、各種の添加剤をさらに含んでもよい。添加剤の濃度は例えば0.005mоl/L以上0.5mоl/L以下であってもよい。添加剤としては、例えばSEI(solid electrolyte interface)膜形成剤、ガス発生剤(過充電添加剤とも称される)、難燃剤等が挙げられる。電解液に1種の添加剤が単独で含まれてもよい。電解液に2種以上の添加剤が含まれてもよい。電解液に2種以上の添加剤が含まれる場合、添加剤の濃度はすべての添加剤の合計濃度を示す。
本実施形態のリチウムイオン電池は二次電池であってもよい。リチウムイオン電池は一次電池であってもよい。以下リチウムイオン電池が「電池」と略記され得る。
電池100はケース101を含む。ケース101は円筒形である。ただしケース101は角形であってもよい。ケース101は例えばステンレス、アルミニウム(Al)合金等により形成され得る。ケース101はアルミラミネートフィルム製のパウチ等であってもよい。ケース101は、例えばガス排出弁、電流遮断機構(Current Interrupt Device,CID)等を備えていてもよい。
正極11は例えばシート状であってもよい。正極11は正極活物質を少なくとも含む。正極11は例えば正極集電体、導電材およびバインダ等をさらに含んでもよい。例えば正極活物質、導電材およびバインダを含む正極合材が正極集電体の表面に塗着されることにより、正極11が形成され得る。正極集電体は例えばAl箔等であってもよい。正極集電体は例えば5μm以上50μm以下の厚さを有してもよい。
負極12は例えばシート状であってもよい。負極12は負極活物質を少なくとも含む。負極12は例えば負極集電体およびバインダ等をさらに含んでもよい。例えば負極活物質およびバインダを含む負極合材が負極集電体の表面に塗着されることにより、負極12が形成され得る。負極集電体は例えば銅(Cu)箔等であってもよい。負極集電体は例えば5μm以上50μm以下の厚さを有してもよい。
セパレータ13は電気絶縁性である。セパレータ13は正極11および負極12の間に配置されている。正極11および負極12はセパレータ13によって互いに隔離されている。セパレータ13は多孔質膜である。セパレータ13は電解液の透過を許す。セパレータ13は例えば10μm以上30μm以下の厚さを有してもよい。セパレータ13は例えばポリオレフィン製の多孔質膜等であってもよい。
下記表1に示される電解液がそれぞれ調製された。各電解液の電導度がそれぞれ測定された。各電解液の電導度は25℃で測定された。
比較例1では環状カーボネート(EC)の単独溶媒が使用されている。比較例1は電導度が低い。溶媒の粘度が高いためと考えられる。
アセチルアセトン:0.75mPa・s
メトキシ酢酸メチル:1.01mPa・s
Claims (7)
- リチウムイオン電池用の電解液であって、
溶媒およびリチウム塩を少なくとも含み、
前記溶媒はメトキシアセトンを少なくとも含む、
電解液。 - 前記溶媒にメトキシアセトンが50vol%以上含まれる、
請求項1に記載の電解液。 - 前記溶媒にメトキシアセトンが70vol%以上含まれる、
請求項2に記載の電解液。 - 前記溶媒はメトキシアセトンのみからなる、
請求項3に記載の電解液。 - 前記リチウム塩の濃度は0.7mоl/L以上1.5mоl/L以下である、
請求項1〜請求項4のいずれか1項に記載の電解液。 - 前記リチウム塩の濃度は1.1mоl/L以上1.5mоl/L以下である、
請求項5に記載の電解液。 - 請求項1〜請求項6のいずれか1項に記載の前記電解液を少なくとも含む、
リチウムイオン電池。
