支持層の役割は、十分な機械的強度を有する支持体を膜の他の層に提供してその製造プロセスを実行すること、スタックを取り扱い可能にすること、及び膜の使用を可能にすること特に断熱パネル、とりわけ真空絶縁パネル(VIPs)の製造において膜の使用を可能にすること、である。
支持層(Cs)と金属性層(Cm)との間の中間体である、平坦化層(Cp)は、支持層と接触する表面とは反対側にある、平坦表面を規定する。金属性層は、平坦表面上に堆積されることとなる。
‐四官能性のウレタン/アルキル(メタ)アクリレートのオリゴマー、
‐二官能性のウレタン/アルキル(メタ)アクリレートモノマー、
‐トリアクリル酸トリメチロールプロパンモノマー。
‐30%から90%の、少なくとも一つの四官能性のウレタン/アルキル(メタ)アクリレートのオリゴマー、
‐5%から40%の、少なくとも一つの二官能性のアルキル(メタ)アクリレートモノマー、
‐5%から40%の、トリアクリル酸トリメチロールプロパン、
ここで、割合は、平坦化樹脂組成物のポリマー前駆体の全重量に対する、活性物質の重量によって与えられる。
‐50%から70%の、少なくとも一つの四官能性のウレタン/アルキル(メタ)アクリレートのオリゴマー、
‐15%から25%の、少なくとも一つの二官能性のアルキル(メタ)アクリレートモノマー、
‐15%から25%の、トリアクリル酸トリメチロールプロパン、
ここで、割合は、平坦化樹脂組成物のポリマー前駆体の全重量に対する、活性物質の重量によって与えられる。
‐カルボン酸の金属塩、特に以下であるカルボン酸の金属塩:酢酸ナトリウム、酢酸カリウム、ギ酸ナトリウム、ギ酸カリウム;亜鉛、スズ、マグネシウム、コバルト、カルシウム、チタン、又はジルコニウムのアセチルアセトネナート;ステアリン酸亜鉛;
‐金属酸化物、例えば酸化亜鉛、酸化アンチモン、酸化インジウムなどの金属酸化物;
‐金属アルコキシド、チタンテトラブトキシド、チタンプロポキシド、ジルコニウムのアルコキシド、ニオブのアルコキシド、又はタンタルのアルコキシド;
−アルカリ金属、アルカリ土類金属、及び希土類のアルコラート及び水酸化物、例えばナトリウムメトキシド。
既知の方法により、金属性層は、金属製又は金属酸化物製であり、かつ200nm以下の厚みを有している。この層の役割は、特には水蒸気及び空気に対して、気密性を有することである。この層は、平坦化層上に直接堆積される。
●元素の周期表の、2族(かつてのIIA)及び13族(かつてのIIIA)金属、並びに遷移金属(3から12族、かつてのIBからVIIIB)の酸化物、例えば:Be,Mg,Ca,Sr,Ba,Al,Ga,In,Tl,Ti,Cu,Ni,Cr,Zn,Sbの酸化物;
●特には、x≧2である化学式SiOxに対応するものから選択される、酸化ケイ素。
ヒートシール層(Ct)は、二つの表面を規定し、その一つは膜の内側面を形成する。
驚くべきことに、本発明の膜を特徴付ける層のスタックは、個別に見たときの、個々の層のガスバリア性の合計よりも、より高いガスバリア性を有する。
この複合フィルムは、少なくとも一つのその他の材料の層を一つ以上含んでもよい。
平坦化層(Cp)、及び200nm以下の厚みを有する少なくとも一つの金属又は少なくとも一つの金属酸化物の金属性層(Cm)のスタックは、気密性モジュール(Meg)を規定する。
本発明の多層膜は、上述され、上記の方法を用いて連続して堆積され、かつ実施例において詳細に説明されている、多様な膜のスタックを含む、連続的なストリップの形状で製造されてよい。ストリップの製造後、ストリップは、所望の寸法に切断される。
本発明の多層膜は、そのガスバリア特性によって特徴づけられ、特には酸素バリア特性及び水蒸気バリア特性によって、特徴づけられる。水蒸気バリア特性は、特に重要であり、これはなぜかと言えば、VIPタイプの断熱パネルの分野では、膜内部への水分の侵入が、断熱特性の劣化における重要な因子であることが知られているからである。
−材料:
●支持層:DuPont(商標)によって販売される、Melinex(商標)ST505ポリエチレンテレフタレートPETから形成される。
●平坦化層(Cp):下の表1において記載される樹脂前駆体の混合物から形成され、この混合物には、重合開始剤が添加される。
●接着剤(Adh):接着組成は、酢酸エチルで希釈されて、最終固体濃度を20重量%とした、Dow Chemicalによって販売されるAdcote(商標)76R44ポリエステル樹脂(ポリエステル及びトルエンをベースとする)を含む。架橋剤は、やはりDow Chemicalsによって販売される、Adcote(商標)触媒9L10であり、樹脂の重量に対して、約7重量%(活性物質として計算された%)で使用される。組成物を、周囲温度で30分間混合し、ウェットコーティングによって基材上に堆積し、その後に110℃で30秒間乾燥して、約3〜4μmの層を得る。
●ヒートシール層:50μmの厚みを有する、高密度又は低密度のポリエチレン(PE)。
●平坦化層の堆積:表1で与えられる組成を有する樹脂の層を、メイヤーロッド、モデルNo.0を用いて支持層上に堆積して、4μmの厚みを得る。乾燥後、層は2μmの厚みを有している。
●金属性層の堆積:支持層上への平坦化層の堆積の後に、100nmの厚みを有するアルミニウムの層を、アルミニウムターゲットを用いたマグネトロンスパッタリングによって、0.2Paの圧力下で、純粋なアルゴン大気中において、平坦化層上に堆積する。
●粗度の計測:ISO4287規格において定義されるように、Rqは、5x5μm2の表面積にわたって、原子間力顕微鏡(AFM)によって、計測される。
●水蒸気の透過性の計測:水蒸気透過度(WVTR)は、米国特許出願公開第2012/062896号明細書において記載されているCRDS法に従って、38℃、95%湿度において、g/m2/日で、評価する。
上記の材料及び方法を用いて、以下の特徴を有する膜を調製した:
Claims (15)
- 層のスタックを含む多層膜(1.1A,1.1B,1.2,1.3,1.4)であって、前記多層膜は、前記多層膜の周縁面(3A,3B)を形成する一つのヒートシール層(8)、並びに、少なくとも以下の層を順に相次いで含み:
‐ポリマー材料製の支持層(2,2.1,2.2)、
‐200nm以下の厚みを有する、金属及び金属酸化物から選択される少なくとも一つの材料で作られる金属性層(6,6.1,6.2 );
前記支持層(2,2.1,2.2)と前記金属性層(6,6.1,6.2)との間に少なくとも一つの平坦化層(4,4.1、4.2)を含み、前記平坦化層(4,4.1,4.2)は、1nm以下、有利には0.5nm以下の平均表面粗度Rqを有する平坦表面(11A,11B)を規定することを特徴とする、多層膜(1.1A,1.1B,1.2,1.3,1.4)。 - 前記平坦化層(4,4.1、4.2)は、以下から選択されるポリマーの前駆体を一つ以上含む樹脂組成物の硬化によって得られる、請求項1に記載の多層膜(1.1A,1.1B,1.2,1.3,1.4):ポリエステル、ポリウレタン、ポリエステル/ポリウレタン共重合体、シラン、シロキサン、シラン修飾ポリエステル、シラン修飾ポリウレタン、ポリエステル/シロキサン共重合体、ポリウレタン/シロキサン共重合体。
- 前記平坦化層(4,4.1、4.2)は、以下から選択されるポリマーの前駆体を一つ以上含む樹脂組成物の硬化によって得られる、請求項2に記載の多層膜(1.1A,1.1B,1.2,1.3,1.4):アルキルアクリレート、アルキルメタクリレート、ウレタン/アクリレート、及びウレタン/メタクリレート。
- 前記平坦化層(4,4.1、4.2)は、少なくとも以下を含む樹脂組成物の硬化によって得られる、請求項3に記載の多層膜(1.1A,1.1B,1.2,1.3,1.4):
‐四官能性のウレタン/アルキル(メタ)アクリレートのオリゴマー、
‐二官能性のアルキル(メタ)アクリレートモノマー
‐トリアクリル酸トリメチロールプロパンモノマー。 - 前記平坦化層(4,4.1、4.2)は、0.1μm〜100μm、好ましくは0.5μm〜25μm、さらにより好ましくは、1μm〜5μmの間の厚みを有する、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の多層膜(1.1A,1.1B,1.2,1.3,1.4)。
- 前記金属性層(6,6.1,6.2)は、アルミニウム製である、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の多層膜(1.1A,1.1B,1.2,1.3,1.4)。
- 前記支持層(2,2.1,2.2)は、ポリエチレンテレフタレートをベースとする、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の多層膜(1.1A,1.1B,1.2,1.3,1.4)。
- 平坦化層(4.1,4.2)と、200nm以下の厚みを有する少なくとも一つの金属又は少なくとも一つの金属酸化物の金属性層(6.1,6.2)とのスタックが、気密性モジュール(7.1,7.2)を規定し、前記多層膜は、少なくとも以下を順に含む、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の多層膜(1.2):
‐ポリマー材料製の支持層(2)、
‐第一の気密性モジュール(7.1)、
‐前記第一の気密性モジュール(7.1)と同等の又は異なる、第二の気密性モジュール(7.2)。 - ポリマー材料製の支持層(2.1,2.2)と、平坦化層(4.1,4.2)と、200nm以下の厚みを有する少なくとも一つの金属又は少なくとも一つの金属酸化物の金属性層(6.1,6.2)とのスタックが、支持モジュール(9.1,9.2)を規定し、前記多層膜は、少なくとも以下を順に含む、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の多層膜(1.3,1.4):
‐第一の支持モジュール(9.1)、
‐接着層(10,10.1)、
‐前記第一の支持モジュール(9.1)と同等の又は異なる、第二の支持モジュール(9.2)。 - 前記多層膜は、少なくとも以下を順に含む、請求項9に記載の多層膜(1.4):
‐第一の支持モジュール(9.1)、
‐第一の接着層(10.1)、
‐第二の支持モジュール(9.2)、
‐第二の接着層(10.2)、
‐前記第一の支持モジュール(9.1)と同等であり又は異なり、前記第二の支持モジュール(9.2)と同等であり又は異なる、第三の支持モジュール(9.3)。 - 絶縁特性を有する多孔質材料製の少なくとも一つの剛性パネル、及び請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載の少なくとも一つの多層膜(1.1A,1.1B,1.2,1.3,1.4)を含む包材を具備する、真空絶縁パネル。
- 少なくとも一つの支持層(2,2.1,2.2)を提供すること、及び200nm以下の厚みを有する少なくとも一つの金属性層(6,6.1,6.2)を堆積することを含む、請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載の多層膜(1.1A,1.1B,1.2,1.3,1.4)を製造するための方法であって、前記支持層(2,2.1,2.2)と前記金属性層(6,6.1、6.2)との間に平坦化層(4,4.1,4.2)を堆積することを含むことを特徴とする、方法。
- 前記平坦化層(4,4.1,4.2)の前記堆積は、液体による方法によって、特には、ロールコーティング、ブラシコーティング、スロットダイコーティング、気化、ディップコーティング、スピンコーティング、又はメイヤーロッドコーティングによって行われる、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記金属性層(6,6.1,6.2)の前記堆積は、蒸着又はスパッタリング、特にはマグネトロンスパッタリングによって行われる、請求項12又は13に記載の方法。
- 請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載の多層膜(1.1A,1.1B,1.2,1.3,1.4)の、真空絶縁パネルの包材の全て又は一部としての、使用。
