Abstract
【解決手段】フロントシリンダヘッド4F及びリヤシリンダヘッド4Rは、シリンダ列方向が互いに逆向きとされた共用シリンダヘッド60からなる。フロントシリンダヘッド4F及びリヤシリンダヘッド4Rのシリンダ列方向の両端部のそれぞれには、メインギャラリ46からフロント動弁機構21F、リヤ動弁機構21R、又は油圧駆動によって吸排気バルブ17の少なくとも一方のリフト動作を変更する弁動作変更機構(23、24)にオイルを分配するための複数の分配油路47が上面に開口するように形成される。複数の分配油路47のうちの少なくとも1つに、油量を調整する油量調整機構(100)が設けられる。

Claims (4)
- V型に配置され、それぞれ複数の気筒を形成する第1シリンダバンク及び第2シリンダバンクを有するシリンダブロックと、
前記第1シリンダバンクの上面に結合される共用シリンダヘッドからなる第1シリンダヘッドと、
シリンダ列方向が前記第1シリンダヘッドと逆向きになるように前記第2シリンダバンクの上面に結合された前記共用シリンダヘッドからなる第2シリンダヘッドと、
前記第1シリンダヘッドに設けられた吸気バルブ及び排気バルブを駆動する第1動弁機構と、
前記第2シリンダヘッドに設けられた吸気バルブ及び排気バルブを駆動する第2動弁機構と、
前記第1シリンダヘッド及び前記第2シリンダヘッドの少なくとも一方のシリンダ列方向の一端側又は両端側に設けられた作動油路の油圧によって駆動され、吸気バルブ及び排気バルブの少なくとも一方のリフト動作を変更する弁動作変更機構とを備え、
前記シリンダブロックには、シリンダ列方向に延びるメインギャラリが形成され、
前記第1シリンダヘッド及び前記第2シリンダヘッドのシリンダ列方向の両端部のそれぞれには、前記メインギャラリから前記第1動弁機構、前記第2動弁機構又は前記弁動作変更機構にオイルを分配するための複数の分配油路が上面に開口するように形成され、
複数の前記分配油路のうちの少なくとも1つに、油量を調整する油量調整機構が設けられることを特徴とするV型エンジン。 - 前記第1シリンダヘッド及び前記第2シリンダヘッドのうち、前記弁動作変更機構が設けられたものの上面には、複数の前記分配油路のうちの少なくとも1つと連通し、前記弁動作変更機構にオイルを供給する接続油路が形成された油路接続部材が設けられることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のV型エンジン。
- 前記弁動作変更機構が、
吸気バルブ又は排気バルブの開閉タイミング及び開閉リフト量のうちの少なくとも一方を変更する開閉特性変更機構と、
吸気バルブ又は排気バルブのリフト動作を休止させるバルブ休止機構と、からなり、
前記第1シリンダヘッド及び前記第2シリンダヘッドの前記一端側に設けられた前記分配油路が、前記開閉特性変更機構に連通し、
前記第1シリンダヘッド及び前記第2シリンダヘッドの一方の他端側に設けられた前記分配油路が、前記バルブ休止機構に連通し、
前記第1シリンダヘッド及び前記第2シリンダヘッドの前記他端側に設けられた前記分配油路のうち、前記第1動弁機構及び前記第2動弁機構に連通する前記分配油路に前記油量調整機構が設けられることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載のV型エンジン。 - 前記第1シリンダヘッド及び前記第2シリンダヘッドには、シリンダ列方向に水平に延びる水平油路が形成され、
前記第1シリンダヘッド及び前記第2シリンダヘッドに設けられる前記水平油路には、上方向に延出する延長油路の下端が接続し、
前記延長油路の上端が、対応する前記第1シリンダヘッド又は前記第2シリンダヘッドの上面に開口すると共に、対応する前記第1動弁機構又は前記第2動弁機構を構成する摺動部材によって塞がれることを特徴とする請求項2又は請求項3に記載のV型エンジン。
