Abstract
【解決手段】孔を備えたディスプレイ110は、孔領域110’にシリンダ状の部分ガイド手段145を適用すると共にネジ山を用いてガイド手段145と下部カバー150とを締結することにより、締結性を確保することを特徴とする。

Description
一態様において、前記下部カバーは、前記第5孔の縁部から前記液晶パネルに向かって突出した突出部を備えるようにしてもよい。
反射板241は、下部カバー250と導光板242の背面間に配置される。この反射板241は、光源からの光及び導光板242からの光を液晶パネル210側に反射する役割を果たす。図8A及び図8Bにおいては、反射板241が導光板242の縁部の側面を覆うように形成された場合を例に挙げているが、本発明はこれに限定されるものではない。
また、光源は、光を出射する手段であって、例えばCCFL、HCFL、EEFL及びLEDのいずれかを選択して用いることができるが、これらに限定されるものでない。
下部カバー250は、底面から垂直に延びた複数の側面部250aを含むようにしてもよい。側面部250aは、下部カバー250の縁部から所定の高さを有するように垂直に延びてもよい。隣接する側面部250aは互いに連結されるようにしてもよい。

Claims (18)
- 液晶パネルの下方に配置されるバックライトユニットと、
前記液晶パネル及び前記バックライトユニットを収納する下部カバーと、
前記液晶パネル及び前記下部カバーの所定領域に備えられる少なくとも1つの孔と、
前記液晶パネルと前記下部カバーとの間の前記孔を通って前記下部カバーに締結されるガイド手段とを含む、ディスプレイ。 - 前記バックライトユニットは、
導光板の一側に配置されて光を発生する光源を含む光源ユニットと、
前記導光板の背面に配置される反射板と、
前記導光板の前面に配置される光学シートとを含む、請求項1に記載のディスプレイ。 - 前記液晶パネル、前記光学シート、前記導光板、前記反射板及び前記下部カバーは、外郭が曲線形状、多角形状、又は曲線と多角が混合された形状を有する、請求項2に記載のディスプレイ。
- 前記孔は、
前記液晶パネルに備えられた第1孔と、
前記光学シートに備えられた第2孔と、
前記導光板に備えられた第3孔と、
前記反射板に備えられた第4孔と、
前記下部カバーに備えられた第5孔とを含む、請求項2に記載のディスプレイ。 - 前記第1孔〜前記第5孔は、曲線形状、多角形状、又は曲線と多角が混合された形状を有する、請求項4に記載のディスプレイ。
- 前記第1孔は、前記第2孔、前記第3孔及び前記第4孔より大きい直径を有し、前記第2孔、前記第3孔及び前記第4孔は、前記第5孔より大きい直径を有する、請求項4に記載のディスプレイ。
- 前記反射板は、前記第5孔を含む前記導光板の縁部の側面を覆うように形成される、請求項4に記載のディスプレイ。
- 前記下部カバーは、
底面から垂直に延びた複数の側面部と、
前記それぞれの側面部が中心に向かって折り曲げられて構成される載置部とを含む、請求項4に記載のディスプレイ。 - 前記下部カバーの載置部上に前記液晶パネルの縁部が載置される、請求項8に記載のディスプレイ。
- 前記下部カバーの側面部及び載置部は、前記下部カバーの底面からコ字状に曲がっており、前記導光板及び前記光学シートは、前記コ字状に曲がった前記下部カバーの側面部及び載置部により前記下部カバーの内部に固定される、請求項8に記載のディスプレイ。
- 前記下部カバーは、前記第5孔の縁部から前記液晶パネルに向かって突出した突出部を備える、請求項4に記載のディスプレイ。
- 前記下部カバーの突出部は、前記第2孔、前記第3孔及び前記第4孔を貫通して前記光学シート、前記導光板及び前記反射板を前記下部カバー内に収納する、請求項11に記載のディスプレイ。
- 前記ガイド手段は、
前記第1孔を通って前記液晶パネルが嵌められるシリンダ状の本体と、
前記本体の外周面から外側方向に延びて前記第1孔周辺の前記液晶パネルの縁部が載置されて支持される支持部と、
前記支持部の内側縁部から下方に延びて前記下部カバーの突出部に締結される締結部とを含む、請求項11に記載のディスプレイ。 - 前記締結部は、シリンダ状に形成され、前記締結部の外径及び内径は、前記本体の外径及び内径より小さい、請求項13に記載のディスプレイ。
- 前記ガイド手段は、前記突出部の内側に挿入される前記締結部の外側に前記突出部のネジ山に対応するネジ山を備える、請求項13に記載のディスプレイ。
- 前記ガイド手段は、前記突出部の外側に嵌められる前記締結部の内側に前記突出部のネジ山に対応するネジ山を備える、請求項13に記載の異形ディスプレイ。
- 前記液晶パネルは、前記孔を除く領域に画像が表示される、請求項1に記載のディスプレイ。
- 前記液晶パネルの縁部の側面は、サイドシールによりシール材で密封される、請求項1に記載のディスプレイ。
