Claims (29)
- 有機発光ダイオード(OLED)ディスプレイ・モジュールであって、
各OLEDがアノード及びカソードを有するOLEDのマトリクスと、
前記OLEDマトリクス内の前記OLEDに電気的に接続する行及び列によって定義された電気接続を有するOLED駆動回路と、を備え、
i個の隣接する行のグループが並行に配置構成され、j個の隣接する列のグループが並行に配置構成され、それによって、各々がOLEDのi×jアレイを有するスーパー・ピクセルを定義し、i及びjは2に等しいか又は2よりも大きい整数であり、所与のスーパー・ピクセル内の前記OLEDは個別にアクティブ化できない、OLEDディスプレイ・モジュール。 - 前記OLED駆動回路は、各列が電流シンク及び列スイッチを含み、各行が電圧入力及び行スイッチを含む、共通アノード構成を有する、請求項1に記載のOLEDディスプレイ・モジュール。
- 前記OLEDのマトリクス内の前記OLEDは、ほぼ同じ波長の光を発する、請求項1に記載のOLEDディスプレイ・モジュール。
- 所与のスーパー・ピクセル内の異なるOLEDは、複数の異なる色の光のうちの1つを発する、請求項1に記載のOLEDディスプレイ・モジュール。
- 所与のスーパー・ピクセル内のそれぞれのOLEDは、赤、緑、又は青の光のうちの1つを発する、請求項4に記載のOLEDディスプレイ・モジュール。
- 前記光の色は、赤、緑、青、黄、白、オレンジ、マゼンタ、及びシアンのうちの2つ以上を含む、請求項5に記載のOLEDディスプレイ・モジュール。

有機発光ダイオード(OLED)のマトリクスを提供することと、
スーパー・ピクセルを有するOLEDディスプレイを定義するために前記OLEDのマトリクス内の前記OLEDを電気的に接続することであって、各スーパー・ピクセルは4つ以上のOLEDのグループを含み、各スーパー・ピクセル内の前記OLEDは個別にアクティブ化できないことと、
前記ディスプレイ・イメージを代表するビデオ信号を前記OLEDディスプレイに提供することと、
前記スーパー・ピクセルを使用して前記OLEDディスプレイ上に前記ディスプレイ・イメージを表示することと、
