Abstract
シリンダが正立型に設定された場合であっても、フォーク本体にシリンダを組み付けた後にシリンダ内へ作動液を容易に注入できるフロントフォークを提供する。
【解決手段】
環状のアウターチューブ1と、アウターチューブ1内に軸方向移動自在に挿入される環状のインナーチューブ2とを有するフォーク本体3と、フォーク本体3内に設けられて、内部に作動液が充填される液室Lが形成されるシリンダ4と、シリンダ4内を軸方向移動自在に移動するピストンロッド5と、ピストンロッド5に装着されたシリンダ4内を伸側室V1と圧側室V2に区画するピストン6と、シリンダ端に装着されてピストンロッド5を案内するとともに、シリンダ外方を液室Lと連通させる注液口7aを設けたロッドガイド7を有するダンパカートリッジDと、注液口7aから液室Lに作動液を注入後、ロッドガイド7に積層されて、注液口7aを閉塞する栓部材8を備えたことを特徴とする。

Claims (5)
- 環状のアウターチューブと、前記アウターチューブ内に軸方向移動自在に挿入される環状のインナーチューブとを有するフォーク本体と、
前記フォーク本体内に設けられて、内部に作動液が充填される液室が形成されるシリンダと、前記シリンダ内を軸方向移動自在に移動するピストンロッドと、前記ピストンロッドに装着された前記シリンダ内を伸側室と圧側室に区画するピストンと、前記シリンダ端に装着されて前記ピストンロッドを案内するとともに、前記シリンダ外方を前記液室と連通させる注液口を設けたロッドガイドとを有するダンパカートリッジと、
前記ロッドガイドに積層されて、前記注液口を閉塞する栓部材を備えた
ことを特徴とするフロントフォーク。 - 前記フォーク本体内に前記フォーク本体と前記ロッドガイドとの間に介装されるメインスプリングを設け、
前記メインスプリングが前記栓部材を押圧することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のフロントフォーク。 - 前記栓部材が、前記メインスプリングのスプリングシートを兼ねることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載のフロントフォーク。
- 前記シリンダが、前記フォーク本体の前記インナーチューブ側に固定され、前記栓部材は、前記インナーチューブ内に配置されることを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載のフロントフォーク。
- 前記栓部材は、環状であって、前記栓部材の外径と前記インナーチューブの内径の差は、前記栓部材の内径と前記ピストンロッドの外径の差より小さいことを特徴とする請求項4に記載のフロントフォーク。
