Claims (6)
- アウターチューブとこのアウターチューブに出入りするインナーチューブとからなり車体と車輪との間に介装される緩衝器本体と、車輪側に連結されて上記緩衝器本体の軸心部に起立するシリンダと、このシリンダ内に形成されて作動液が充填される液室と、上記シリンダに固定されて上記液室の車体側を塞ぐ環状のロッドガイドと、車体側に連結されるとともに上記ロッドガイドの軸心部を貫通し上記シリンダに出入りするピストンロッドとを備える緩衝器において、
上記ロッドガイドの内周に保持されて上記ピストンロッドの外周面に摺接する環状のシール部材と、上記ピストンロッドの外周に形成されて上記ピストンロッドが上記シリンダから所定量退出したとき上記ピストンロッドと上記シール部材との間に隙間を形成するリリーフ手段とを備えることを特徴とする緩衝器。 - 上記リリーフ手段は、上記ピストンロッドの軸方向車輪側にかけて徐々に縮径されるスロープ部を備えていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の緩衝器。
- 上記リリーフ手段は、車体荷重のみがかかる時に上記隙間を形成するように設定されていることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載の緩衝器。
- 上記ロッドガイドの内周に嵌合し上記ピストンロッドの外周面に摺接する環状のブッシュを備え、このブッシュは、上記シール部材の反シリンダ側に上記シール部材と直列に配置されており、
上記ロッドガイドには、上記シリンダの外側に開口するとともに、上記シール部材と上記ブッシュとの間に開口する横孔が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項3の何れか一項に記載の緩衝器。 - 上記ロッドガイドは、上記シリンダに挿入される挿入部と、この挿入部に連なり上記シリンダから突出する突出部とを備えており、この突出部の径方向に沿って上記横孔が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の緩衝器。
- 上記シリンダの反ピストンロッド側の内周面に摺接し上記液室の車輪側を塞ぐフリーピストンと、このフリーピストンを液室側に附勢する附勢手段とを備えていることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項5の何れか一項に記載の緩衝器。
