Abstract
Description
本発明の端子金具は、前記電線接続部が、前記電線の端末部に圧着されるバレル部を有し、前記電線接続部には、前記接合片に接合される部分が前記バレル部の後方に突出して設けられているものとしてもよい。このような構成によれば、電線接続部と他の構成部品との接合部がバレル部の後方にずれて配されるので、バレル部を圧着したときのバレル部の変形が接合部に与える影響を小さくすることができる。
以下、本発明を具体化した一実施例について、図1〜図8を参照しつつ詳細に説明する。
本実施例における端子金具Tは、図1に示すように、電線30の端末部に接続される電線接続部10と、電線接続部10の前側に配される他の構成部品20とが、別体に形成されたものである。電線接続部10および他の構成部品20は、それぞれ適切な金属板材をプレス加工することで形成されている。以下、各構成部材において、図2の左手前側(相手との接続側)を前側、右奥側(電線30との接続側)を後側、上側を上方、下側を下方として説明する。
まず、電線接続部10および他の構成部品20をそれぞれ最適な材料によって最適な形状に形成する。このとき、電線接続部10の材料と他の構成部品20の材料とを異なるものとすることで、材料コストを抑制することができる。例えば、電線接続部10を銅または銅合金製、他の構成部品20を鉄または鉄合金製とすることで、銅に比して安価な材料を用いることにより、端子金具Tの全体を銅または銅合金製とする場合に比して材料コストを抑制することができる。
まず、図1および図2に示すように、電線接続部10の上面側に他の構成部品20を重ねる。他の構成部品20の接合片24を電線接続部10の上面(バレル部11の底部12)に重ね合わせる。すると、電線接続部10の前端(ワイヤバレル部11Aの前端)が接続本体部22の傾斜縁23に当接して前後方向の位置決めがなされる(図2参照)。また、他の構成部品20の後端と電線接続部10の後端とが揃って配され、他部品側接合部25と電線接続側接合部14とが全面的に重なり合った状態になる(図3参照)。そして、他部品側接合部25と電線接続側接合部14とを溶接により接合する。これにより、電線接続部10と他の構成部品20とが一体化する。
以上により、端子金具Tの製造作業が完了する。
本実施例の端子金具Tは、電線30の端末部に接続される電線接続部10と、電線接続部10とは別体に形成されて電線接続部10の前側に配される他の構成部品20と、を有し、他の構成部品20には、電線接続部10に重ねられて接合される接合片24が設けられ、電線接続部10のうち電線30の芯線31に圧着する部分よりも後側の部分が、接合片24に接合されている。この構成によれば、電線接続部10と他の構成部品20との接合部が電線30に沿って配されるから、接合部が電線30とともに振れるので、電線接続部10と他の構成部品20との接合部に大きな力が作用することを防ぐことができる。
本発明は上記記述及び図面によって説明した実施例に限定されるものではなく、例えば次のような実施例も本発明の技術的範囲に含まれる。
(1)上記実施例では、電線接続部10のバレル部11がオープンバレル型とされているが、これに限らず、例えば電線接続部のバレル部はクローズドバレル型であってもよい。
(2)上記実施例では、電線接続部10が、電線30の端末部に圧着されるバレル部11を有しているが、これに限らず、例えば電線接続部が、電線の芯線が圧接される圧接刃を有するものとしてもよい。
(3)上記実施例では、電線接続部10に電線接続側接合部14が設けられ、接合片24がバレル部11の後側において接合されているが、これに限らず、電線接続部のうち電線の芯線に圧着する部分よりも後側の部分に接合片が接合されればよく、例えば電線接続側接合部を設けずに、他の構成部品の接合片をインシュレーションバレル部の底部に接合するものとしてもよい。
(4)上記実施例では、接合片24が、バレル部11の底部12の上側に重ねられて接合されているが、これに限らず、接合片は、バレル部の底部の下側に重ねられて接合されてもよい。
(5)上記実施例では、電線接続部10と他の構成部品20とが溶接によって接合されているが、これに限らず、例えば接合部にカシメ片を設けて接合してもよく、また、溶接に加えてカシメ片によるかしめ付けを行うものとしてもよい。
(6)上記実施例では、他の構成部品20が、アース部位にボルト締めされるためのボルト挿通孔21を有する接続本体部22を備えているが、これに限らず、他の構成部品は、電線接続部の前側に配されるものであればどのようなものであってもよく、例えば、相手側端子金具のタブ部が挿入されて接続される雌側の筒状接続部や、タブ部を有する雄側の接続部等であってもよい。
(7)上記実施例では、他部品側接合部25と電線接続側接合部14とが溶接により接合されているが、溶接部位はこの部分に限らず、接合片と電線接続部とが重なり合う範囲内において広くしてもよい。

- 電線の端末部に接続される電線接続部と、
前記電線接続部とは別体に形成されて前記電線接続部の前側に配される他の構成部品と、
を有し、
前記他の構成部品には、前記電線接続部に重ねられて接合される接合片が設けられ、
前記電線接続部のうち前記電線の芯線に圧着する部分よりも後側の部分が、前記接合片に接合されている端子金具。 - 前記電線接続部が、前記電線の端末部に圧着されるバレル部を有し、
前記電線接続部には、前記接合片に接合される部分が前記バレル部の後方に突出して設けられている請求項1に記載の端子金具。 - 前記バレル部が、上面側に配された前記電線の端末部にかしめ付けられるものであり、
前記接合片が、前記バレル部の底部の上側に重ねられて接合されている請求項1または請求項2に記載の端子金具。 - 前記電線接続部と前記他の構成部品とが溶接によって接合されている請求項1ないし請求項3のいずれか一項に記載の端子金具。
- 前記他の構成部品が、アース部位にボルト締めされるためのボルト挿通孔を有する接続本体部を備えている前記請求項1ないし請求項4のいずれか一項に記載の端子金具。
