Description

糖化バイオマスからの糖(および/または糖から作られる物質)の製造の効率を増大する方法が、本明細書中で提供される。当該方法は、1つ以上の糖または物質が負のフィードバックを生じて、精製され得る糖または物質の量を限定する場合に特に有用である。

Claims (21)
- 物質の製造方法であって、以下の:
難分解性低減リグノセルロース系バイオマスを糖化すること、そして糖化バイオマスに異性化剤を付加すること
を包含する方法。 - 前記糖化バイオマスが第一糖および第二糖を含み、前記異性化剤が前記第二糖を第三糖に転化するために用いられる請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記糖化バイオマスを微生物と接触させて、第一糖および第三糖を1つ以上の物質(単数または複数)に転化することをさらに包含する、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記難分解性低減バイオマスが、以下の:電子による衝撃、音波処理、酸化、熱分解、水蒸気爆発、化学的処理、機械的処理、凍結粉砕からなる群から選択される処理方法で前処理されている請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記処理方法が電子による衝撃である請求項4記載の方法。
- 前記第二糖の前記第三糖への転化が、前記微生物が前記第一糖を前記物質に転化させ得る条件下で微生物‐バイオマス組合せを保持する前に実行される、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記第二糖の前記第三糖への転化が、前記バイオマスの糖化直後に実行される、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記第二糖の前記第三糖への転化が、前記バイオマスの糖化中に実行される、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記リグノセルロース系バイオマスが、以下の:木材、パーティクルボード、林業系廃棄物、おがくず、アスペン材、木材チップ、草、スイッチグラス、ススキ、ミクリ、クサヨシ、穀粒残渣、コメ籾殻、オートムギ籾殻、コムギ籾殻、オオムギ籾殻、農業廃棄物、貯蔵牧草、キャノーラ藁、コムギ藁、オオムギ藁、オートムギ藁、コメ藁、ジュート、麻、亜麻、竹、サイザルアサ、マニラ麻、トウモロコシ穂軸、トウモロコシ飼葉、ダイズ飼葉、トウモロコシ繊維、アルファルファ、干し草、ココヤシ表面毛、糖加工残渣、バガス、ビートパルプ、リュウゼツランバガス、藻類、海藻、堆肥、下水汚物、腐肉、農業または工業廃棄物、アラカチャ、ソバ、バナナ、オオムギ、キャッサバ、葛、アンデスカタバミ、サゴヤシ、モロコシ、ジャガイモ、サツマイモ、タロイモ、ヤムイモ、ダイズ、ソラマメ、レンズマメ、エンドウおよびこれらのいずれかの混合物からなる群から選択される、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記異性化剤が酸を含む、請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記酸がポリスチレンスルホン酸である、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記異性化剤が支持体上に固定される酵素を含む、請求項1〜11のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記酵素がキシロースイソメラーゼである、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記微生物糖化バイオマス組合せが約6.0〜約7.5のpHに保持される、請求項3〜13のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記第二糖がグルコースであり、前記第三糖がフルクトースである、請求項2〜14のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記第二糖がキシロースであり、前記第三糖がキシルロースである、請求項2〜14のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記微生物が酵母である、請求項3〜16のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記微生物がクロストリジウム種である、請求項3〜16のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記物質が、以下の:エタノール、ブタノール、酪酸、酢酸およびアセトンからなる群から選択される、請求項3〜18のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記微生物が乳酸桿菌種である、請求項3〜16のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記物質が乳酸である、請求項20に記載の方法。
