Abstract
Description
1.ポリ(エチレン)のおむつ本体を接着するための組立体接着剤として;および
2.腰バンドおよび脚バンドとして使用される弾性付属品を接着するための付属品接着剤として。
本発明の物品を作製するために使用される増量油は、好ましくは炭化水素油である。好ましい増量油は、白色鉱油、例えばPenreco,Karns City,Pa.により販売されているDRAKEOL(登録商標)油およびCitgo,Tulsa,Oklaにより販売されているTUFFLO(登録商標)油である。低芳香族含有量のパラフィン/ナフタレンプロセス油、例えばCalumetにより販売されているCALSOL(登録商標)油も条件を満たしている。合成油、例えばポリ−アルファ−オレフィン油、ポリプロピレン油、ポリブテン油なども好適である。本発明のブロックコポリマーと相溶性であり、周囲温度において液体であり、対象物品を調製するのに当業者に有用であることが公知である任意の増量油を本発明について使用することができる。
本発明の接着剤組成物は、1種以上の可塑剤を含有することができる。好適な可塑剤は、主に、性質がパラフィン性またはナフテン性であり(炭素芳香族分布が、DIN51378に従って測定して<5%、好ましくは<2%、より好ましくは0%である。)、ガラス転移温度が示差走査熱量測定により計測される−55℃未満である可塑化油を含む。このような製品は、Royal Dutch/Shell Group of companiesから市販されており、SHELLFLEX(登録商標)、CATENEX(商標)、EDELEX(商標)およびONDINA(登録商標)油を含む。使用することができる他の可塑化油は、Witco製のKAYDOL(登録商標)油、Arco製のTUFFLO(登録商標)油またはNYNAS製のNYPLAST(登録商標)を含む。本発明に好適なさらに他の可塑剤は、相溶性の液体粘着付与樹脂、例えばHercules Inc.製のREGALREZ(登録商標)R−1018またはGoodyear Tire and Rubber Company製のWINGTACK(登録商標)10を含む。
本発明の接着剤組成物の調製方法に、特に制限は課されない。従って、任意の方法、例えばロール、BanburyミキサーまたはDaltonニーダーを使用する機械的混合方法、加熱および混合を、撹拌機を備える溶融ケトル(高剪断Zブレードミキサーまたは一軸もしくは二軸スクリュー押出機など)を使用して実施することを特徴とするホットメルト法または配合成分を、好適な溶媒中に注入し撹拌し、これにより感圧接着剤組成物の緊密溶液を得る溶媒方法を使用することができる。
本発明によるPSA組成物を、いかなる溶媒も使用することなく(例えば、ホットメルト)またはこの溶液の形態において、基材、例えば紙またはプラスチックフィルムに適切な塗布機により塗布することができ、これにより種々の感圧接着積層体、テープまたはラベルを生成する。
標準的な剥離、粘着、凝集および粘度試験を、これらの配合物に対し、感圧テープ評議会(Pressure Sensitive Tape Council)(PSTC)からの感圧テープについての試験方法手引き(Test method manual for Pressure Sensitive Tapes)、感圧材料についての標準FINAT試験方法(standard FINAT test method for Pressure sensitive materials)、感圧接着テープについてのAFERA試験方法(AFERA test methods for Pressure Sensitive Adhesive Tapes)およびASTM関連方法に記載のとおり実施した。種々の試験表面を塗布の機能において使用した;FINATにより推奨されるクロムメッキステンレス鋼プレート(304番)(「ss」)およびクラフト紙。
Claims (19)
- 不織布組立体において使用されるブロックコポリマーであって:
式[A−(A/B)]nX(式中、Aは、芳香族ビニル化合物を表し、ならびに(A/B)は、芳香族ビニル化合物およびブタジエンの2:98から30:70の範囲の重量比の混合物のランダム共重合により得られるポリマーブロックを表し、nは、1から5の範囲の整数であり、ならびにXは、カップリング剤の残部である。)のブロックコポリマー
を含むブロックコポリマー。 - ブロック(A/B)が、芳香族ビニル化合物およびブタジエンの2:98から30:70の重量比の混合物のランダム共重合により得られたものである、請求項1のブロックコポリマー。
- (A/B)ブロックが、約2から約15重量%の範囲の重合ブタジエン中のビニル含有量を有する、請求項1のブロックコポリマー。
- Aが、主にポリ(スチレン)ブロックを表す、請求項1のブロックコポリマー。
- (S/B)が主にスチレンおよびブタジエンの混合物のランダム共重合により得られるポリマーブロックを表す、請求項1のブロックコポリマー。
- 0から約40重量部の可塑剤をさらに含む、請求項1のブロックコポリマー。
- 約70から約98%のカップリング効率をさらに含む、請求項1のブロックコポリマー。
- 200℃/5kgにおいて計測される約20から約60g/分の範囲のメルトフローインデックスをさらに含む、請求項1のブロックコポリマー。
- 不織布組立体において使用されるブロックコポリマーであって:
式[S−(S/B)]nX(式中、Sは、主にポリ(スチレン)ブロックを表し、ならびに(S/B)は、主にスチレンおよびブタジエンの2:98から30:70の範囲の重量比の混合物のランダム共重合により得られ、および20,000から150,000g/molの分子量を有するポリマーブロックを表し、nは、1から5の範囲の整数であり、ならびにXは、カップリング剤の残部である。)のブロックコポリマー
を含むブロックコポリマー。 - ブロック(S/B)が、スチレンおよびブタジエンの2:98から30:70の重量比の混合物のランダム共重合により得られたものである、請求項10のブロックコポリマー。
- (S/B)ブロックが、約5から約15重量%の範囲の重合ブタジエン中のビニル含有量を有する、請求項10のブロックコポリマー。
- 200℃/5kgにおいて計測される約20から約60g/分の範囲のメルトフローインデックスをさらに含む、請求項10のブロックコポリマー。

b)C5/C9炭化水素樹脂から選択される粘着付与樹脂;ならびに
c)1種以上の可塑剤
を含むブロックコポリマー。 - 約20から約70重量部の粘着付与樹脂をさらに含む、請求項14のブロックコポリマー。
- 0から約40重量部の可塑剤をさらに含む、請求項14のブロックコポリマー。
- 約70から約98%のカップリング効率をさらに含む、請求項14のブロックコポリマー。
