Claims (19)
- カソード/セパレータ/アノード構造の電極組立体であって、複数の第1の単位電極および第2の電極シートが、セパレータシートを介して前記第1の単位電極が前記第2の電極シートに対向するように巻かれ、第1の電極と第2の電極が反対の極性を有する、電極組立体。
- 前記電極組立体は、第1のセパレータシートが前記第1の単位電極と前記第2の電極シートとの間に配置されて前記第1の単位電極と前記第2の電極シートとが第2のセパレータシート上に配置された状態で、前記第1の単位電極、前記第2の電極シート、前記第1のセパレータシート、および前記第2のセパレータシートが、前記第1の単位電極のそれぞれの幅で、前記セパレータシートの長手方向(長さ方向)に順次巻かれた構造を有するように構成される、請求項1に記載の電極組立体。
- 前記電極組立体が、前記第2のセパレータシートの上に、上方に向かって前記第2の電極シート、前記第1のセパレータシート、および前記第1の単位電極の順で配置された状態で、前記第2の電極シート、前記第1のセパレータシート、前記第1の単位電極、および前記第2のセパレータシートが、前記第1の単位電極のそれぞれの幅で、前記シートの長手方向(長さ方向)に順次巻かれた構造を有するように構成される、請求項2に記載の電極組立体。
- 前記電極組立体が、前記第2のセパレータシートの上に、上方に向かって前記第1の単位電極、前記第1のセパレータシート、および前記第2の電極シートの順で配置された状態で、前記第1の単位電極、前記第1のセパレータシート、前記第2の電極シート、および前記第2のセパレータシートが、前記第1の単位電極のそれぞれの幅で、前記シートの長手方向(長さ方向)に順次巻かれた構造を有するように構成される、請求項2に記載の電極組立体。
- 前記第1の電極がカソードであり、前記第2の電極がアノードである、請求項1に記載の電極組立体。
- 前記第1の電極がアノードであり、前記第2の電極がカソードである、請求項1に記載の電極組立体。
- 前記第1の単位電極は、前記第1の電極の電流コレクタの対向する主表面を第1の電極活性材料で被覆することによって作製される電極であり、前記第2の電極シートは、前記第1の電極の前記電流コレクタの前記対向する主表面を第2の電極活性材料で被覆することによって作製される電極である、請求項1に記載の電極組立体。
- 前記第2の電極シートが、熱溶接によって前記第2のセパレータシートの上面に付着される、請求項1に記載の電極組立体。
- 前記それぞれの第1の単位電極から電極タブが突出し、前記第2の電極シートの、電極活性材料が適用されていない電流コレクタの被覆されていない部分に電極リード線が取り付けられる、請求項1に記載の電極組立体。
- 巻かれた状態で電極タブが同じ領域に位置するように、前記第1の単位電極が前記第2の電極シートに対して交互に配置される、請求項1に記載の電極組立体。
- 前記第1の単位電極が前記第2の電極シートに対して、前記第1の単位電極の間の間隔が長手方向に増加するように配置される、請求項1に記載の電極組立体。
- 前記巻かれた第1のセパレータシートおよび/または前記第2のセパレータシートの最も外側の端部が、熱溶接または接着テープによって固定される、請求項1に記載の電極組立体。
- 前記第1のセパレータシートおよび前記第2のセパレータシートが、同じ材料または異なる材料で作られた多孔質絶縁性膜である、請求項1に記載の電極組立体。
- 前記第1のセパレータシートおよび前記第2のセパレータシートが、微小多孔質ポリエチレン膜、ポリプロピレン膜、ポリエチレン膜とポリプロピレン膜の組み合わせによって作製された多層膜、ポリフッ化ビニリデン、ポリエチレンオキシド、ポリアクリロニトリル、ポリフッ化ビニリデン-ヘキサフルオロプロピレン共重合体などの高分子電解質用のポリマー膜からなる群から選択されたもので作られる、請求項1に記載の電極組立体。
- 請求項1に記載の電極組立体を備える、電気化学セル。
- 前記電気化学セルが二次電池である、請求項15に記載の電気化学セル。
- 前記二次電池が、リチウムイオンを有するリチウム二次電池である、請求項16に記載の電気化学セル。
- 前記二次電池は、前記電極組立体が、金属層および樹脂層を備える積層シートで作られたポーチ形ケース内に搭載される構造を有するように構成される、請求項16に記載の電気化学セル。
- 請求項1に記載の電極組立体を作製する方法であって、
(a)複数の第1の単位電極のそれぞれがその一方の側に形成された電極タブを有するように構成された前記第1の単位電極を作製するために、第1の電極シートを切断するステップと、
(b)第2の電極シートを作製するために、電極活性材料が適用されていない電流コレクタの被覆されていない部分に、電極リード線を取り付けるステップと、
(c)前記第2の電極シート、第1のセパレータシート、前記第1の単位電極、および第2のセパレータシートを、前記第2のセパレータシートの上に、上方に向かって前記第2の電極シート、前記第1のセパレータシート、および前記第1の単位電極の順で配置された状態で、前記第1の単位電極のそれぞれの幅で前記シートの長手方向(長さ方向)に順次巻くステップと、
(d)前記第1の単位電極の前記電極タブを前記電極リード線に溶接するステップと
を含む、方法。
