Claims (13)
- 延性材料から構成されるワークピースに形成された穴に固定するためのねじ山形成ねじ型の締結具であって、
ドライバビットと噛み合うドライブを有するヘッドと、
内径および外径を有するねじ山を有する軸部と
を備え、
前記外径が、前記ねじのねじ山の頂を画定し、前記内径が、前記ねじ谷底を画定し、隣接するねじ山の頂の間の前記ねじの表面がねじフランクを形成し、前記ねじフランクが一定の半径である、締結具。 - 前記ねじフランクの表面が、連続的に滑らかである、請求項1に記載の締結具。
- 前記フランク間のねじフランク遷移部の表面が、一定の半径である、請求項1または2に記載の締結具。
- 前記ねじ山、ねじ山の頂、ねじ谷底、およびねじフランクが、ワークピースの周囲の延性材料に亀裂や損傷を生じさせることなく、前記延性材料を変形するように配設された、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の締結具。
- 前記ねじ山が、前記ねじフランクの表面に対して前記ワークピースの延性材料を変形するように配設された、請求項4に記載の締結具。
- 前記ねじフランクの半径が、作図上の円を画定する、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の締結具。
- 作図上の円を画定する前記ねじフランクの半径が、前記ねじのピッチを決定する、請求項6に記載の締結具。
- 前記ねじのピッチが、ねじ山の頂を共有する隣接する作図上の円間の接線によって決定される、請求項7に記載の締結具。
- 前記ねじピッチにより、前記ねじ谷底に向かって最大量の延性材料が変位する、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の締結具。
- 前記延性材料に穿孔された穴が、パイロット穴である、請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の締結具。
- 当該締結具の外径が、0.4mm以上である、請求項1から10のいずれか一項に記載の締結具。
- 延性材料から構成されるワークピースに形成された穴に固定するためのねじ山形成ねじ型の締結具を製造するためのねじ転造ダイスであって、前記締結具が、ドライバビットと噛み合うドライブを有するヘッドと、内径および外径を有するねじ山を有する軸部とを備え、前記外径が、前記ねじのねじ山の頂を画定し、前記内径が、前記ねじ谷底を画定し、隣接するねじ山の頂の間の前記ねじの表面が、ねじフランクを形成し、前記ねじフランクが一定の半径である、ねじ転造ダイス。
- 前記ねじ山形成ねじの同じプロファイルを有するダイス面を備える、請求項12に記載のねじ転造ダイス。
