Abstract
Description
a) 少なくとも1つの埋め込み電気的導線を有する絶縁材料のシートの事前加工。前記導線の端部を含む絶縁材料のストライプが、絶縁材料中のU字型の切れ目によって切り離される。
b) 前もって製造されたプローブ本体の周りに前記シートを巻く。そして上述のストライプは、プローブ本体から突き出るように、シートの面の外に折り返されることができる。
- 鎖骨の下に外科的に埋め込まれて、必要な電圧パルスを供給する埋込型パルス発生器11、
- パルス発生器11に接続されて、首の中を頭蓋骨へと通り、そこでコネクタで終端する延長ワイヤ12、及び
- 頭蓋骨の穿頭孔を通して脳組織中に埋め込まれるDBSプローブ100、
から構成される。
- 絶縁材料から成り、半径rを有する円柱状の形を持つ細長い又は線維状のフレキシブルなプローブ本体102、
- プローブ本体102の側面上で軸方向の伸長h及び直径2rを持つリング状の外観を呈する一セットの刺激電極101、
を有する。
(a) -3.6Vが電極4〜7に適用される。
(b) -3.6Vが電極5〜8に適用される。
(c) -3.6Vが電極6〜9に適用される。
(d) -3.6Vが電極4〜9に適用される。
I = C(dU/dt) = 10-11・0.1/10-4 A = 10 nA
結果として生じる細胞外の電位は、点源近似によって推定されることができ、そして、r=1mmの距離でU(r)=I/(4πrσ)=2.5μVを与え、典型的な神経細胞間距離の40μmで100μVを与える。
Claims (10)
- 深部脳刺激のための電極システムであって、
軸方向に伸びるプローブ本体、
前記プローブ本体の軸に沿って分布する少なくとも3つの刺激電極、
前記刺激電極に関して軸方向にシフトされる点で互いに異なる電位のパターンを選択的に生成するコントローラを有し、
前記刺激電極の直径2rは、それらの軸方向の伸長h以上(2r≧h)である、
電極システム。 - 前記刺激電極の直径2rが、それらの軸方向の伸長より少なくとも2倍大きく(2r≧2h)、好ましくはそれらの軸方向の伸長より少なくとも4倍大きい(2r≧4h)ことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電極システム。
- 少なくとも2つの隣り合う刺激電極が、当該電極の軸方向の伸長hより小さい間隔dを持ち(d≦h)、好ましくはd≦0.5hであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電極システム。
- 前記刺激電極が、当該刺激電極の直径2rと少なくとも同じ長さ及び/又は当該電極の軸方向の伸長hの少なくとも10倍の長さ(H≧10h)である長さHの軸方向領域にわたって分布することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電極システム。
- 前記コントローラが単一のパルス発生器を有することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電極システム。
- 前記プローブ本体から突き出る少なくとも一つの微小電極を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電極システム。
- 前記微小電極が、その先端の他はいずれも電気的絶縁体によって覆われていることを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の電極システム。
- 前記微小電極が、2つの刺激電極の間又は刺激電極の領域内を起点とすることを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の電極システム。
- 前記微小電極を介して電位を検知するための記録ユニットを有することを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の電極システム。
- 少なくとも一つの埋め込み電気導線を有する絶縁材料のシートを製造し、前記導線の端部を含む前記絶縁材料のストライプを切り離し、
前記シートをプローブ本体の周りに巻きつける、
請求項6に記載の電極システムの製造方法。
