Abstract
Description
本発明は、無溶接型バッテリーパックに、より詳しくは、一対の接続突起を包含する接続部材、接続溝を包含する保護回路モジュール(PCM)、該接続溝の中に該接続突起を、該PCMを該接続部材に連結できるように挿入し、該接続溝は保護回路に接続される、及び該PCMを取り囲んだ状態で該接続部材またはバッテリーセルに連結されるキャップハウジングを備えてなるバッテリーパックに関する。
可動装置の開発が進み、そのような可動装置の需要が増加するにつれて、可動装置用の動力源として二次バッテリーの需要も急速に増加している。二次バッテリーの一つは、エネルギー密度および作動電圧が高く、貯蔵及び耐用寿命特性が優れており、様々な電子工学製品ならびに各種の可動装置用のエネルギー供給源として現在広く使用されているリチウム二次バッテリーである。
技術的問題
従って、本発明は、上記の問題および他の未解決の技術的問題を解決するためになされたものである。
本発明により、上記及び他の目的は、(a)バッテリーセルの上側末端に取り付けた絶縁フレーム、及び該フレームの上側末端表面に形成された、該バッテリーセルの電極端子と接触している一対の接続突起を包含する接続部材、(b)該接続部材に取り付けた保護回路モジュール(PCM)、該PCMは、接続溝を包含し、該接続溝の中に該接続突起を、該PCMを該接続部材に連結できるように挿入し、該接続溝は保護回路に接続される、及び(c)該PCMを取り囲んだ状態で該接続部材またはバッテリーセルに連結されるキャップハウジングを備えてなる、バッテリーパックを提供することにより、達成することができる。
ここで、添付の図面を参照しながら、本発明の好ましい実施態様を詳細に説明する。しかし、本発明の範囲は、例示する実施態様に限定されるものではない。
上記の説明から明らかなように、本発明の無溶接型バッテリーパックには、バッテリーパックの組立工程が簡素化され、バッテリーパックの製造を自動化することができ、外部の影響によるバッテリーパックの内部抵抗の欠陥及び変化が最少に抑えられ、バッテリーの容量が増加し、バッテリーパックの安定性が改良されるという効果がある。

Claims (9)
- (a)バッテリーセルの上側末端に取り付けた絶縁フレームと、及び前記フレームの上側末端表面に形成された一対の接続突起とを包含する接続部材と、
前記接続突起が、前記バッテリーセルの電極端子と接触してなり、
(b)前記接続部材に取り付けた保護回路モジュール(PCM)と、
前記PCMが接続溝を包含し、前記接続溝の中に前記接続突起を挿入し前記PCMを前記接続部材に連結できるようにし、かつ、前記接続溝が保護回路に接続されてなり、及び
(c)前記PCMを取り囲んだ状態で前記接続部材又はバッテリーセルに連結されるキャップハウジングとを備えてなる、バッテリーパック。 - 前記接続部材を両面接着性テープ又は接着剤により前記バッテリーセルに固定する固定方法、
前記接続部材を溶接又ははんだ付けにより前記バッテリーセルに固定する固定方法、或いは、
別の連結部材を前記バッテリーセルと前記接続部材の接触区域に取り付けるか、又は前記バッテリーセルと前記接続部材の接触区域を連結構造中に形成する、機械的連結方法を使用して、前記接続部材を前記バッテリーセルに連結してなる、請求項1に記載のバッテリーパック。 - 前記接続部材が、絶縁板状本体と、及び一対の接続板とを包含してなり、
前記一対の接続板が、前記板状本体の対向する末端に配置され、前記接続板が前記バッテリーセルの対応する電極端子と接触するようにされてなり、前記接続突起が前記接続板に形成されてなる、請求項1に記載のバッテリーパック。 - 前記接続部材が、前記接続部材の中央に、前記バッテリーセルの前記突き出た端子を通すことができる通し穴を備えてなる、請求項1に記載のバッテリーパック。
- 前記板状本体が前記板状本体の対向する末端に溝を備えてなり、及び、前記接続板が前記接続板の対向する末端表面に、前記溝に対応する突起を備えなり、
それによって、前記突起を対応する前記溝の中に噛み合わせることにより、前記板状本体が前記接続板に一体的に連結されてなる、請求項3に記載のバッテリーパック。 - 前記接続板が、前記接続板の上側末端表面及び下側末端表面に形成された突起により、前記板状本体及び前記PCMに連結されてなり、
前記板状本体及び前記PCMが、前記板状本体と前記PCMが前記接続板に連結される区域で、前記突起に対応する接続溝を備えてなる、請求項5に記載のバッテリーパック。 - 前記PCMが、インサート射出成形により、前記キャップハウジングと一体的に形成されてなる、請求項1に記載のバッテリーパック。
- 前記PCMが前記キャップハウジングに取り付けられた状態において、前記キャップハウジングが前記バッテリーセルに、接着、溶接、はんだ付け、又は機械的連結により連結されてなる、請求項1に記載のバッテリーパック。
- 前記キャップハウジングが、前記キャップハウジングの下側末端に側方延長部を備えてなり、
前記側方延長部が、前記キャップハウジングを前記バッテリーセルに取り付けた時に前記バッテリーセルを部分的に覆うものであり、及び
前記バッテリーセルの外側表面に包装フィルムを取り付けた時に、前記包装フィルムが前記側方延長部にも取り付けられてなり、
それによって、前記キャップハウジングの前記バッテリーセルへの取付が完了する、請求項1に記載のバッテリーパック。
