Abstract
Description
壁の厚みが127μmで0.965mm の内径(以下、“ID”)および1.168mmの外径(以下、“OD”)を有した自己拡大の形状記憶ニッケル−チタンステントが、1.194 mmのIDおよび1.295mmのODの装着/溶接の取り付け具である装着鞘に装着され、1.257mmのODで壁厚みが4.5μmのカバーが装着鞘の上に装着される。カバーの近位端領域は、その後、丸められたステントの近位端領域に溶接される。
127μmの壁厚みを有した自己拡大の形状記憶ステントは、0.97mmの内径(以下、“ID”)および1.17mmの外径(以下、“OD”)に丸められる。丸められたステントは、その後、1.19mmのIDと1.295mmのODを有した、装着/溶接具である装着鞘に装着され、また、1.257mmのODおよび4.5ミクロンの壁厚のカバーは装着鞘上に装着される。カバーの近位端領域は、その後丸められたステントの近位端領域に溶接される。
Claims (20)
- 移植可能なカバーの付いたステントであって、
a)そこから突出する少なくとも1つの拡大した近位部材を有した近位端領域と、そこから突出する少なくとも1つの拡大した遠位部材を有した遠位端領域と、を有したステントと、
b)近位端領域と末端領域を有したカバー部材と、
を具え、
前記カバーの近位端領域は第1接合部において少なくとも1つの拡大した近位部材に接合され、前記カバーの遠位端領域は第2接合部において少なくとも1つの拡大した遠位部材に接合されることを特徴とするステント。 - 前記ステントとカバーは、縮小の度合いにおいて互換性があることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の移植可能な医療器具。
- 前記のステントおよび前記カバーのそれぞれは、チタン、バナジウム、アルミニウム、ニッケル、タンタル、ジルコニウム、クロム、銀、金、シリコン、マグネシウム、ニオブ、スカンジウム、プラチナ、コバルト、パラジウム、マンガン、モリブデンおよびその合金、ジルコニウム−チタン−タンタル合金、ニッケル−チタン合金、コバルト−クロム合金およびステンレス鋼から構成される群から選択された少なくとも1つの材料で構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の移植可能な医療器具。
- ステントは、ステントの近位端および末端のそれぞれから突き出ている少なくとも1つの接合部材をさらに有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の移植可能な医療器具。

- テーパの付いたカテーテル鞘と誘導線鞘とをさらに具えたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の移植可能な医療器具。
- 請求項1に記載の移植可能な医療器具を用意するための方法であって、
a)前記ステントを装着管の管腔に装着して前記ステントの第1の端部領域を前記装着管の第1の終端を越えて突出させ、
b)前記カバーを前記装着管の終端上に装着し、また、前記カバーを前記装着管上にスライドして係合させることにより、前記カバーの第1の端部領域が、前記装着管の前記第1終端を越えて突出する、前記ステントの前記第1端部領域と同じ位置となるようにし、
c)前記カバーの前記第1端部領域を第1接合部で前記ステントの第1端部領域に接合して、前記第1接合部を有したカバーの付いたステントアセンブリを形成し、
d)前記第1接合部を有したカバーの付いたステントアセンブリを拘束管内に装着することにより、前記カバーの第2の端部領域と前記ステントの第2の端部領域を前記拘束管の終端を越えて突出するようにし、
e)前記カバーの前記第2端部領域を第2の接合部で前記ステントの第2端部領域に接合して、移植可能な医療器具を形成する、
工程を有したことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記工程c)およびe)は、前記第1接合部および第2接合部を抵抗溶接によって形成する工程をさらに有したことを特徴とする請求項11に記載の方法。
- カバーの付いたステントアセンブリを不動態化する工程をさらに有したことを特徴とする請求項12に記載の方法。
- カバーの付いたステントアセンブリを拘束管からカテーテル鞘に移動させる工程をさらに有したことを特徴とする請求項11に記載の方法。
- f)前記移植可能な医療器具を前記カテーテル鞘に装着する前に、前記カテーテル鞘の中に押し込み部材を配置し、
g)前記移植可能な医療器具を前記カテーテル鞘の中にスライドして入れることにより、前記移植可能な医療器具を前記押し込み部材に少なくとも隣接して近接した状態となるようにし、
h)前記押し込み部材の中央の穴および前記移植可能な医療器具の中央の管状空隙を通って誘導線鞘を配置する、
工程をさらに有したことを特徴とする請求項11に記載の方法。 - 前記カバーの付いたステントアセンブリは先細のカテーテル鞘をさらに備えたことを特徴とする請求項13に記載の方法。
- i)移植可能な医療器具をカテーテル鞘に装着する前に、先細のカテーテル鞘の中に押し込み部材を配置し、
j)前記移植可能な医療器具を前記先細のカテーテル鞘の中にスライドしていれることにより、前記移植可能な医療器具を前記押し込み部材と少なくとも隣接して近接した状態となるようにし、
k)前記押し込み部材の中央の穴および前記移植可能な医療器具の中央の管状空隙を通って誘導線鞘を配置する、
工程をさらに有したことを特徴とする請求項15に記載の方法。 - ステントをステントカバーに接合する方法であって、
a)前記ステントを装着管の管腔に装着することにより、前記ステントの第1の端部領域が前記装着管の第1の終端を越えて突出するようにし、
b)前記カバーを前記装着管の終端上に装着し、当該カバーを前記装着管上にスライドして係合させることにより、前記カバーの第1の端部領域が、前記装着管の前記第1終端を越えて突出する、前記ステントの前記第1端部領域と同じ位置となるようにし、
c)前記カバーの前記第1端部領域を前記ステントの前記第1端部領域に第1の接合部で接合して、前記第1接合部を有したカバーの付いたステントアセンブリを形成し、
d)前記第1接合部を有したカバーの付いたステントアセンブリを拘束管に装着することにより、前記カバーの第2の端部領域と前記ステントの第2の端部領域が前記拘束管の終端を越えて突出するようにし、
e)前記カバーの前記第2端部領域を前記ステントの前記第2端部領域に第2の接合部で接合して移植可能な医療器具を形成する、
工程を有したことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記工程c)およびe)は、前記第1接合部および第2接合部を抵抗溶接によって形成す工程をさらに有したことを特徴とする請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記第1接合部および第2接合部を不動態化する工程をさらに有したことを特徴とする請求項19に記載の方法。
