Abstract
Description
「管」とは、円筒形、先細りにした、平坦にした、及び/又は曲げたものであってよく、その長さに沿ってさまざまな断面形状及び/又はサイズを有してよいチューブをいう;例えば、この用語「管」は触媒コンバータ用の典型的なエンドコーンを含む;
「排気管」とは、排気マニホールドと触媒コンバータ又はマフラーとの間の管をいう;
「排気系部品」とは、バーナー又は機関からの排気ガスを導くように設計される部品をいう;及び
「テール管」とは、マフラーの下流にあり且つ直接大気に逃がす管をいう。
Claims (23)
- 内側管と、該内側管を囲む外側管と、該内側及び外側管を連結し且つ該内側及び外側管と共に包囲された空隙を画定する第1及び第2の環状シール部と、該包囲された空隙を少なくとも部分的に充填したガラスバブルであって、嵩容積に基づいて、該ガラスバブルの少なくとも90パーセントが150マイクロメートル未満の粒度を有する粒度分布を有するガラスバブルとを含む、断熱二重壁を有する排気系部品。
- 前記内側管が、ステンレス鋼、鋼、又は鋼合金を含む、請求項1に記載の断熱二重壁を有する排気系部品。
- 前記第1及び第2のシール部が金属フランジを含む、請求項1に記載の断熱二重壁を有する排気系部品。
- 前記包囲された空隙が前記ガラスバブルで実質的に充填される、請求項1に記載の断熱二重壁を有する排気系部品。
- 前記ガラスバブルが密に詰め込まれている、請求項1に記載の断熱二重壁を有する排気系部品。
- 嵩容積に基づいて、50パーセントを超える前記ガラスバブルが50マイクロメートルを超える粒度を有する、請求項1に記載の断熱二重壁を有する排気系部品。
- 前記ガラスバブルが0.1〜0.15グラム/ミリリットルの範囲の真密度を有する、請求項1に記載の断熱二重壁を有する排気系部品。
- 前記断熱二重壁を有する排気系部品が、排気管と、触媒コンバータ組立体の少なくとも一部分と、テール管とから成る群から選択される、請求項1に記載の断熱二重壁を有する排気系部品。
- 前記断熱二重壁を有する排気系部品が、断熱二重壁を有する排気管と、触媒コンバータ組立体の断熱二重壁を有するエンドコーンと、触媒コンバータ組立体の断熱二重壁を有するスペーサリングと、断熱二重壁を有するマフラーと、断熱二重壁を有するテール管とから成る群から選択される、請求項1に記載の断熱二重壁を有する排気系部品。
- ディーゼル機関に連結されて、該ディーゼル機関からの排気ガスが、前記内側管を通って導かれるようになっている、請求項1に記載の断熱二重壁を有する排気系部品。
- 前記排気系部品が触媒コンバータの上流に配設される、請求項10に記載の断熱二重壁を有する排気系部品。
- 前記部品が断熱二重壁を有する排気管を含む、請求項10に記載の断熱二重壁を有する排気系部品。
- 前記部品が触媒コンバータ組立体のエンドコーン又はスペーサリングを含む、請求項10に記載の断熱二重壁を有する排気系部品。
- 前記部品が断熱二重壁を有するテール管を含む、請求項10に記載の断熱二重壁を有する排気系部品。
- 断熱二重壁を有する排気系部品の製造方法であって、
内側管を用意する工程と、
外側管内に該内側管を少なくとも部分的に閉じ込める工程と、
該内側及び外側管を連結して少なくとも1つの開口部を有する充填可能な空隙を形成する工程と、
該充填可能な空隙をガラスバブルで少なくとも部分的に充填する工程であって、嵩容積に基づいて、該ガラスバブルの少なくとも90パーセントが、150マイクロメートル未満の粒度を有する粒度分布を有している、工程と、
該少なくとも1つの開口部を密封する工程及び該ガラスバブルを包囲する工程とを含む、方法。 - 前記内側管及び外側管が、少なくとも1つのシール部によって連結され、これにおいて該内側管と、外側管と、該少なくとも1つのシール部と、前記開口部とが、前記充填可能な空隙を形成する、請求項15に記載の断熱二重壁を有する排気系部品の製造方法。
- 前記少なくとも1つのシール部が、金属フランジを含む、請求項16に記載の断熱二重壁を有する排気系部品の製造方法。
- 前記内側管が、ステンレス鋼、鋼、又は鋼合金を含む、請求項15に記載の断熱二重壁を有する排気系部品の製造方法。
- 前記第1及び第2のシール部が金属フランジを含む、請求項15に記載の断熱二重壁を有する排気系部品の製造方法。
- 嵩容積に基づいて、50パーセントを超える前記ガラスバブルが50マイクロメートルを超える粒度を有する、請求項15に記載の断熱二重壁を有する排気系部品の製造方法。
- 前記ガラスバブルが0.1〜0.15グラム/ミリリットルの範囲の真密度を有する、請求項15に記載の断熱二重壁を有する排気系部品の製造方法。
- 前記断熱二重壁を有する排気系部品が、断熱二重壁を有する排気管と、触媒コンバータ組立体の断熱二重壁を有するエンドコーンと、触媒コンバータ組立体の断熱二重壁を有するスペーサリングと、断熱二重壁を有するマフラーと、断熱二重壁を有するテール管とから成る群から選択される、請求項15に記載の断熱二重壁を有する排気系部品の製造方法。
- 嵩容積に基づいて、ガラスバブルの少なくとも90パーセントが150マイクロメートル未満の粒度を有する、粒度分布を有するガラスバブルの、二重壁を有する排気系部品における断熱材としての使用。
