Abstract
Description
された粒子と接触し、後者を(たとえば二酸化炭素に)変換する。しかしながら、煤または粒子の酸化がこのように同時にもたらされると、二酸化窒素が減り、一酸化窒素が増えることとなる。しかしながら、このように、利用可能な二酸化窒素が速やかに使い果たされてしまい、さらなる変換のために利用できる二酸化窒素がなくなってしまうこととなる。したがって、ここでは、既に使用された一酸化窒素を再び酸化して二酸化窒素を形成することにより、下流に位置するチャネルの部分的な領域における粒子の変換のために二酸化窒素を再び利用できるようにする装置が特定される。

示す。このために、(必要に応じて、複数繰返して配置され、積み重ねられている)2つの異なる構成要素を用いてチャネル5を形成する。図3の上方部分には波形の金属箔11が示される。ここでは、この波形によりチャネル5の設計が決定的に定められる。当該波形に加えて、金属箔11は異なる突起22および開口部23を有する。1つの部分的な排気ガスの流れについての流れの方向10が一例として示される。排気ガスの流れが初めに当たる突起22に関して、当該排気ガスの流れの一部が、上向きに、特に隣接して配置されたフィルタ層13に向かって逸らされる。しかしながら、別の部分的なガスの流れが突起22を流れ過ぎてチャネル5に留まる。次いで、この部分的なガスの流れが、逆に形成された種類の突起22に当たり、これにより、たとえばチャネル5内の圧力条件が異なっていることで排気ガスの流れの新たな分割が可能となる。これにより、排気ガスの一部が、隣接するチャネル5における開口部23を通過し、排気ガスの残りの部分がチャネル5に沿ってさらに流れる。
および第2の部分的な領域15は、ここでも予め規定可能な長さ9を有する1つの支持構造3内に配置される。しかしながら、基本的には第2の部分的な領域15と第1の部分的な領域14との間に隙間を設けることも可能であり、ここでは、2つの支持構造、または1つのコンバータおよび1つの支持構造が好ましくは設けられている。
Claims (12)
- 排気ガスの粒子(2)を減らすための装置(1)であって、予め規定可能な容量(4)の少なくとも1つの支持構造(3)を有し、前記少なくとも1つの支持構造(3)は流れが交差し得る複数のチャネル(5)を形成し、前記チャネル(5)は、前記チャネル(5)内で排気ガスを逸らすための手段を少なくとも部分的に有し、前記少なくとも1つの支持構造(3)は、ウォッシュコート(7)を含む第1のコーティング(6)を少なくとも部分的に有し、
前記支持構造(3)のうち、前記第1のコーティング(6)を備えた前記容量(4)の1リットル当たり10〜60グラムの量のウォッシュコート(7)が設けられることを特徴とする、装置(1)。 - 前記第1のコーティング(6)は少なくとも1つの貴金属(8)を備え、前記支持構造(3)のうち、前記第1のコーティング(6)を備えた前記容量(4)の1リットル当たり0.35〜3.53グラムの量の前記少なくとも1つの貴金属(8)が設けられることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の装置(1)。
- 前記少なくとも1つの支持構造(3)は、流れの方向(10)に少なくとも120ミリメートルの長さ(9)を有することを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の装置(1)。
- 前記少なくとも1つの支持構造(3)は構造化された金属箔(11)を少なくとも部分的に含むことを特徴とする、請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の装置(1)。
- 前記少なくとも1つの支持構造(3)は、穿孔(12)を備えた金属箔(11)を少なくとも部分的に含むことを特徴とする、請求項1から4のいずれかに記載の装置(1)。
- 前記少なくとも1つの支持構造(3)は少なくとも1つのフィルタ層(13)を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1から5のいずれかに記載の装置(1)。
- 前記少なくとも1つの支持構造(3)は少なくとも1つの第1の部分的な領域(14)および少なくとも1つの第2の部分的な領域(15)を有し、そのうちの少なくとも1つがコーティング(6,16)を有することを特徴とする、請求項1から6のいずれかに記載の装置(1)。
- 前記少なくとも1つの支持構造(3)は、第1のコーティング(6)を備えた少なくとも1つの第1の部分的な領域(14)と、第2のコーティング(16)を備えた少なくとも1つの第2の部分的な領域(15)とを有することを特徴とする、請求項1から7のいずれかに記載の装置(1)。
- 前記少なくとも1つの支持構造(3)は、少なくとも1つのフィルタ層(13)を備えた少なくとも1つの第1の部分的な領域(14)と、フィルタなしの少なくとも1つの第2の部分的な領域(15)とを有し、前記少なくとも1つの第1の部分的な領域(14)は、前記流れの方向(10)において前記少なくとも1つの第2の部分的な領域(15)の下流に配置されることを特徴とする、請求項1から8のいずれかに記載の装置(1)。
- 自動車の内燃機関(18)のための排気ガス浄化システム(17)であって、少なくとも排気ガスに含まれる一酸化窒素を酸化して二酸化窒素を形成するための少なくとも1つのコンバータ(19)と、排気ガスの流れの方向(10)の下流に配置される、請求項1から8のいずれかに記載の少なくとも1つの装置(1)とを含む、排気ガス浄化システム
(17)。 - 前記排気ガス浄化システム(17)がターボチャージャ(20)を有しており、コンバータ(19)が、前記内燃機関(18)と前記ターボチャージャ(20)との間に配置されることを特徴とする、請求項9に記載の排気ガス浄化システム(17)。
- 請求項1から8のいずれかに記載の少なくとも1つの装置(1)、または、請求項9もしくは10に記載の少なくとも1つの排気ガス浄化システム(17)を含む、車両(21)。
