Abstract
Description
・前記ポリマーが、少なくとも0.6モル酸性基/ポリマー100gを有し、
・処方された調製物のpHが、5以下であり、
・ポリマーXの量が、処方された調製物の全成分の量に対して1〜40質量%であり、
・金属イオンがZn2+、Ca2+、Mg2+、及びAl3+から成る群から選ばれる少なくとも1種であり、及び
・金属イオンの量が、ポリマーXに対して、0.01質量%〜25質量%である、
金属表面を不動態化する方法が見出された。
(A)40〜90質量%の(メタ)アクリル酸、
(B)(A)とは異なり、及び1種以上の酸性基を有する、10〜60質量%の少なくとも1種の別のモノエチレン性不飽和モノマー、
(C)任意に、(A)及び(B)とは異なる、0〜30質量%の、少なくとも1種の別のエチレン性不飽和モノマー、
から成るコポリマーX1である。
60質量%のアクリル酸、20質量%のマレイン酸、及び20質量%のビニルホスホン酸を含む酸性基含有コポリマー。酸性基の量は、1.37mol/ポリマー100gである。酸性基の中和の程度は、約6mol%(トリエタノールアミンで中和)であり、Mw約25000g/molである。
水中コポリマーの溶液を試験に使用した。その量を表1に示した。本発明に従う実施例のために、各場合において、Zn3(PO4)2を、表1に記載した量で溶液中に使用した。比較の目的で、Zn3(PO4)2を加えないポリマーの処方した調製物を使用した。更に、酸性亜鉛ホスフェートを、比較の目的で使用した。
上述した水中のコポリマーの溶液を実験に使用した。部分的に中和したコポリマー(すわなち、塩基を含む)の溶液中の濃度は、45.5質量%(塩基を考慮しない場合、41.6質量%)であった。
縮合水−環境変化試験を、1回以上の環境サイクルで、各場合において2個の試験区分で行なった。第1の区分では、試験試料を8時間、40℃の温度、及び100%の相対湿度(relative humidity)に付し、そして第2の区分において、上述した試験試料を、100%未満の相対湿度(環境条件)において、18〜28℃の温度に付した。従って、サイクルの持続時間は24時間である。

- 酸性基を含む少なくとも1種の水溶性ポリマーX、及び少なくとも1種の金属イオンを含む酸性、水性調製物で金属表面を処理することにより、金属表面を不動態化する方法において、
・前記ポリマーが、少なくとも0.6モル酸性基/ポリマー100gを有し、
・処方された調製物のpHが、5以下であり、
・ポリマーの量が、処方された調製物の全成分の量に対して1〜40質量%であり、
・金属イオンがZn2+、Ca2+、Mg2+、及びAl3+から成る群から選ばれる少なくとも1種であり、及び
・金属イオンの量が、全ポリマーXの合計量に対して、0.01質量%〜25質量%である、
ことを特徴とする方法。 - 処方された調製物が、更にホスフェートイオンを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 処方された調製物が、メタンスルホネートイオンを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
