Abstract
【解決手段】 互いに連結された内燃機関3の出力軸3aおよび被駆動部DW,DWの間に、第1変速機20が連結されている。発電電動機30は、回転磁界を発生させるためのステータ32と、第1および第2のロータ31,33とを有し、回転磁界の発生中、ステータ32、第1および第2のロータ31,33の間でエネルギを入出力するとともに、このエネルギの入出力に伴い、回転磁界、第1および第2のロータ31,33が、回転磁界と第2ロータ33の回転速度の差と、第2ロータ33と第1ロータ31の回転速度の差が同じになるようなリニアな速度関係を保ちながら回転する。第1および第2のロータ31,33の一方は、内燃機関3の出力軸3aと第1変速機20の間に、他方は被駆動部DW,DWに、それぞれ連結されている。

この場合、この式(5)から明らかなように、第2ロータ伝達トルクTR2が分割され、発電用等価トルクTGEおよび第1ロータ伝達トルクTR1として出力される。また、前記式(1)’に示すように、磁界回転速度VMFと第2ロータ回転速度VR2との差、および第2ロータ回転速度VR2と第1ロータ回転速度VR1との差が、互いに等しいため、この場合のトルク分配比は1:1である。したがって、エネルギ(電力・動力)の分配比は、磁界回転速度VMFと第1ロータ回転速度VR1との比に等しい。

ここで、要求トルクPMCMDは、車両に要求されるトルクであり、車速VPおよびアクセル開度APに応じて算出される。上限値PMHは、無段変速機20の伝達可能な上限トルクよりも若干小さな値に設定されている。第1所定値SOCLは、バッテリ45が過放電にならないような値に設定されている。このように、発電電動機30によるアシストは、要求トルクPMCMDが無段変速機20の伝達可能な上限トルクに近い値のときに、またはバッテリ45の電力が十分に残っているときに行われる。

ここで、発電可能上限値PMEHは、前述した上限値PMHよりも小さな値に設定されている。第2所定値SOCHは、バッテリ45が過充電にならないような値に設定されている。すなわち、駆動時発電は、要求トルクPMCMDおよび残存容量SOCが比較的小さいときに行われる。

- 被駆動部を駆動するための動力装置であって、
出力軸を有し、当該出力軸が前記被駆動部に連結された内燃機関と、
当該内燃機関の出力軸と前記被駆動部の間に連結され、前記内燃機関の動力を変速し、前記被駆動部に伝達するための第1変速機と、
回転磁界を発生させるための不動のステータと、当該ステータに対向するように設けられ、磁石で構成された第1ロータと、前記ステータと前記第1ロータの間に設けられ、軟磁性体で構成された第2ロータとを有し、前記ステータと前記第1ロータと前記第2ロータの間で、前記回転磁界の発生に伴って形成される磁気回路を介してエネルギを入出力するとともに、当該エネルギの入出力に伴って、前記回転磁界、前記第1および第2のロータが、前記回転磁界と前記第2ロータの回転速度の差と、前記第2ロータと前記第1ロータの回転速度の差が同じになるようなリニアな速度関係を保ちながら回転するように構成された発電電動機と、を備え、
当該発電電動機の前記第1および第2のロータの一方は、前記内燃機関の出力軸と前記第1変速機の間に連結され、他方は前記被駆動部に連結されていることを特徴とする動力装置。 - 前記第1変速機は、変速比を無段階に変更可能な無段変速機で構成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の動力装置。

- 前記第1および第2のロータの前記一方と前記被駆動部との間を接続・遮断する第1クラッチをさらに備えることを特徴とする、請求項1ないし4のいずれかに記載の動力装置。
- 前記内燃機関の出力軸が逆転しないように、前記第1および第2のロータの前記一方の回転を制限または阻止するためのブレーキ機構をさらに備えることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の動力装置。
- 前記第1および第2のロータの前記他方を回転不能に保持するためのロータロック機構をさらに備えることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の動力装置。
- 前記第1および第2のロータの前記他方と前記被駆動部との間に連結され、前記他方から伝達された動力によって回転する前記被駆動部の回転方向を、正転方向および逆転方向の一方に選択的に切り換える正逆転切換機構をさらに備えることを特徴とする、請求項5ないし7のいずれかに記載の動力装置。
- 前記正逆転切換機構は、
サンギヤ、リングギヤ、ならびに前記サンギヤおよび前記リングギヤに噛み合うプラネタリギヤを回転自在に支持するキャリアを有し、前記サンギヤおよびリングギヤの一方が、前記第1および第2のロータの前記他方に連結され、前記サンギヤおよびリングギヤの他方が、前記被駆動部に連結された遊星歯車装置と、
