Abstract
【解決手段】 SiO2を45−65モル%、Al2O3を0−15モル%、Li2Oを4−20モル%、Na2Oを0−8モル%、(Li2O+Na2O)を4−28モル%、CaOを0−21モル%、MgOを0−22モル%、(CaO+MgO)を4−40モル%、Y2O3を0−16モル%、及び、TiO2を1−15モル%含み、かつ100GPa以上のヤング率、1350℃以下の液相温度を達成するガラス成分によって形成されている情報記憶媒体用基板上に記録層を形成して情報記憶媒体を作製する。

Description
東芝社製の精密歪み計(バビネ補正法)を用いて測定した。
(1)ヤング率
20×20×100mmの試料を作製し、5MHzの超音波が前記の試料中を伝播する際の縦波速度(Vl)と横波速度(Vs)とをシングアラウンド式音速測定装置(超音波工業社製のUVM−2)を用いて測定した後、次式によって求めた。

試料のヤング率をその比重で除することによって求めた。
試料を白金製の容器に入れて傾斜温度炉内に30分間放置した後、試料の表面および内部における結晶の有無を光学顕微鏡を用いて観察した。そして、結晶が析出しない最低温度を液相温度とした。
白金製容器と白金製ローターとを備えた回転式粘性測定装置を用いて、熔解温度領域から液相温度付近までに亘って測定した。
5mmφ×20mmの試料について、リガク社製の熱機械分析装置(TMA8140)を用いて+4℃/分の昇温速度で測定した。なお、標準試料としてはSiO2を用いた。
100〜300℃における平均熱膨張係数を意味し、ガラス転移点の測定時に一緒に測定した。
デジタルインスツルメント社のAFM NanoScope 3Aを使用して測定した。
まず、表1および表2に示す酸化物組成のガラスが得られるように、珪石粉末、水酸化アルミニウム、アルミナ、炭酸リチウム、硫酸リチウム、炭酸ナトリウム、硝酸ナトリウム、炭酸カルシウム、炭酸マグネシウム、酸化マグネシウム、酸化チタン、酸化鉄、酸化ニッケル、酸化イットリウム、酸化ネオジウム、酸化銅、酸化アンチモン、亜砒酸等のガラス原料を適宜秤量して実施例毎に約100kgの混合物を調合した。
特開平1−167245号公報の実施例1に記載されているガラスと実質的に同じ組成(モル%に換算)のガラスが得られるようにガラス原料を秤量し、上記実施例1〜実施例63におけると同様にしてガラス基板(化学強化前のもの)を得た後、このガラス基板を以下の条件で化学強化して、目的とするガラス基板を得た。
特公平6−76224号公報の実施例1に記載されているガラスと実質的に同じ組成(モル%に換算)のガラスが得られるようにガラス原料を秤量し、上記実施例1〜実施例63におけると同様にしてガラス基板(化学強化前のもの)を得た後、このガラス基板を比較例1におけるのと同じ条件で化学強化して、目的とするガラス基板を得た。
特公平4−70262号公報の実施例1に記載されているガラス(組成2のガラス)と実質的に同じ組成(モル%に換算)のガラスが得られるようにガラス原料を秤量し、上記実施例1〜実施例63におけると同様にしてガラス基板(化学強化前のもの)を得た後、このガラス基板を比較例1におけるのと同じ条件で化学強化して、目的とするガラス基板を得た。
特開平7−187711号公報の特許請求の範囲に記載されているガラスと実質的に同じ組成(モル%に換算)のガラスが得られるようにガラス原料を秤量し、溶融物を得た後、前記特許請求の範囲に記載されている温度および時間の下に熱処理して結晶化ガラスを得た。この後、当該結晶化ガラスを上記実施例1〜実施例63におけると同様にして加工して、目的とするガラス基板を得た。
Claims (5)
- SiO2を45−65モル%、Al2O3を0−15モル%、Li2Oを4−20モル%、Na2Oを0−8モル%、(Li2O+Na2O)を4−28モル%、CaOを0−21モル%、MgOを0−22モル%、(CaO+MgO)を4−40モル%、Y2O3を0−16モル%、及び、TiO2を1−15モル%含み、かつ100GPa以上のヤング率、1350℃以下の液相温度を達成するガラス成分によって形成されている情報記憶媒体用基板と、
前記情報記憶媒体用基板上に形成された記録層と、
を有することを特徴とする情報記憶媒体。 - 前記情報記憶媒体用基板は、
ガラス成分であるTiO2の一部に代えて遷移金属酸化物が用いられていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載された情報記憶媒体。 - 前記情報記憶媒体用基板は、
前記遷移金属酸化物が、Cr、Mn、Fe、Co、Ni、Ga、Ge、Y、Zr、Nb、Mo、La、Ce、Pr、Nd、Pm、Eu、Gd、Tb、Dy、Ho、Er、Tm、Yb、Hf、Ta、及びWから選ばれた少なくとも一種の酸化物からなることを特徴とする請求項2項記載の情報記憶媒体。 - 前記記録層は、
磁気記録層であることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の情報記憶媒体。 - 請求項4に記載の情報記憶媒体を磁気ヘッドにより、情報を記録、再生することを特徴とする情報記憶装置。
